Those who are looking forward to seeing Lacey Von Erich or the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Taylor Wilde and Hamada may have to hang on a while longer.
Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reports that the trio weren’t brought in for yesterday’s taping and have not been spotted at today’s taping either.
To be honest, the Knockouts Tag Team Titles have pretty much run their course after only a year of existence. It doesn’t look like they have any real plans for the belts or plans to give Taylor/Hamada any real storylines and feuds. The pair haven’t been seen on Impact since their title win at the top of the month. Additionally, that match was Hamada’s first match on Impact in several months. It sucks to see them being put on the sidelines like this.

I don’t know why they go two steps forward and one back with the KO tag titles. I mean with Xplosion now being extended, why not put the feuds on there? Its not like you can degrade the titles anymore by putting them on the B Show. Also, why not just introduce guest talent and tryouts via Taylor and Hamada wrestling different combinations on the occasional week? This way we get more exposure to potential newbies and it builds the titles up.
All TNA is doing is pushing The Beautiful People and Angelina Love! :(
daffeny and katie should feud with taylor and hamanda
well, hopefully daffney is there and we get a match involving her taped.
otherwise it’ll be love vs rayne again?
well, that is pretty much half of the roster, haha, only leaves Angelina, Velvet, Madison, Daffney, and Sarita, is injured, so unless, Tara is revealed, then we prob will get the same ole, Madison Vs Velvet or Madison Vs love
They should just keep LVE on the sidelines and never use her again. What a waste of space that could be use for someone with even an ounce of talent, which she lacks.
They should also just get rid of the KO Tag Titles, they’re completely pointless. If they started using the few girls they have and add in Katie and Christina, they could actually get their women’s division to a special place again.
Going to be a bit before they get action in this division (possibly) going. Madison and Biker Chick Tara as well as Velvet and Angelina are possible future teams. But they need to resolve things further there before tossing either in a tag titles feud here. Von Eerie might make an interesting tag partner for Daffney, but she has to be hired first.
Well people actually care about TBP 1.0 and people actually care who the mystery biker girl is.. Do people care about these 3?
People care about the ‘Mystery’ Biker? Have I gone back in time to a month ago or something? People do care about the original Beautiful People, but when you see the same people all the time it just gets stale, especially when this biker scenario has been held off so long now. This is a wrestling company, there’s a division for a reason.
Well people actually care about TBP 1.0 and people actually care who the mystery biker girl is.. Do people care about these 3?
yes most of us do care about Hamada and taylor but not lacey and I sick n tired watchin TBP every fuck!ng week.
“Well people actually care about TBP 1.0 and people actually care who the mystery biker girl is..”
Wrong x 2
People cared about TBP 1.0 when they were heels, hardly anyone ever liked TBP as faces when they started. It wasnt until their heel turn that they became interesting.
And people dont care who the biker chick is, at least not anymore. People figured out who she was after week #1, and now they keep dragging it week after week. Just unmask her already and put her in a good feud. The only mystery about the biker chick is, why she allies herself with Madison (i’m curious how TNA’s bookers are going to explain that mess).
I care about Hamada. She’s just amazing in that ring, more exciting to watch than a lot of the guys I dare say. She is tuly talented, so yea I care.
And if these two(Taylor/Hamada)are the new tag champions, its a shame they’re not put on Xplosion at the very least. I like the idea of having them defend against indy stars. Its beneficial for all involved. Especially the fans. What’s up with this horrible booking? 2010 hasn’t been a great year for Knockouts or Divas….sigh..
Shame Hamada isn’t there to even tape an Xplosion match, but I couldn’t care less about the others. I just wish they’d hurry this storyline up, I am SICK of Madison, Angelina and Velvet fueding. Even though Tara was shoved down our throats in TNA, at least her reveal will make stuff interesting for about 2 mintues.
It’s hardly conclusive to say the masses don’t care about TBP 1 anymore. And probably not accurate based on TNA’s polling just a few weeks ago.
I do agree certain other Knockouts merit more attention. But they need to do some roster rebuilding if they want to run both singles and tag divisions.
The knockout titles just need to go now, i very much doubt that anyone apart from us lot would actually realized if they went.
TNA think too short term, they wanted to create a buzz about being one of the only companies (bar shimmer) what has a female tag team belts, yet they didn’t think about what they would do with the belts once the small buzz and died off.
I’ve said for a long time now there is no knockout division anymore its just TBP and two others who get to wear a big belt.
Damnit I want Lacey back!!!!!!!!! She just needs to join up with Angelina and Velvet already. It’s cool to see her on the UK Maxim website, though.
If TNA wants to keep the TNA Knockout Tag Titles they should make Hamada and Taylor feud with Daffney and Sarita and they should get rid of Lacey Von Erich cus shes nothing without The Beautiful People or she could team with Velvet and Angelina
It pains me to say this, but Taylor/Hamada are probably just transitional champions, keeping the belts warm until Angelina & Velvet can win them. Yawn…
I’m so fucking sick of the Beautiful People, I swear…
That is why TNA is no better than WWE.Many believe that TNA will treat the women better than WWE but what is this?Don’t come and tell me that TNA has better wrestlers than WWE and blah blah blah..Nope,I’m not taking it.They are both same.
Only SHIMMERS and Japan provide greater quality women matches, period.
Didn’t Lacey suffer a kayfabe injury a few weeks ago, when Velvet accidentally shoved her into a locker backstage and knocked her out? Surely they want to make it seem like she’s still selling the inury.
But the KO’s tag titles need to go. They’re pointless at this stage. TNA needs to refine the division. There’s still some talent, but more women need to be used. The Knockouts should have one good length match, every Impact not these 2 minute displays. I still maintain that if Eric Bischoff goes, the division stands a good chance of picking up. The guy doesn’t support women’s wrestling and Dixie Carter is basically a poodle to him and Hogan.
Sad that my favorite knockout, Hamada, isn’t there. Sad for Taylor also.
But Lacey not being there is a good sign. Maybe they put her in intensive training until she’s decent to comeback to the ring.
