I hope WWE gets what is coming to them.
It is nice to know that she is not forgotten! Undoubtedly, it is a shame that she never was a WWE Women’s Champion as she dreamed of being!
No doubt she is a role model to the wrestling world and inspired characters such as Melina, Katie Lea and Sara del Rey.
Also, she is proof that Candian water breeds the best women wrestlers pound for pound!
RIP Luna
RIP
She was also a huge inspiration to Amy Dumas, as Lita wrote about it in her book. She says Luna had a reputation for being a bit crazy, but Lita found her to be a very sweet lady. She says her and Luna wrote to each other back n forth for awhile before she made it to WWE. Amy says Luna inspired her to stay true to herself and that she could someday make it in WWE. And when Lita arrived in WWE. Luna was one of the women who welcomed her with open arms.
She was definitley and inspiration to women who loved wrestling as much as she did. And that story also goes to show what a lovely woman she truly was. She had a big heart. RIP Luna Vachon. You will always be a Champion to me.
I was on Twitter when the news broke and it was just devastating. I’ve been to a party tonight and while I enjoyed it, Luna was on my mind all night. Luna was criminally underused yet she is a true champion. She didn’t need a belt, but it would have been nice. I think WWE should induct her in the HOF this year. R.I.P Luna Vachon.
I’m still shocked and upset about this. I just don’t think I can get over Luna’s untimely passing.
I definitely think that Luna deserves to be in the HOF, if not this year, then soon. WWE never treated her that well so perhaps this could be a way of making up for that and finally acknowledging how much she truly did for women’s wrestling.
LordsOfPain have comfirmed that she was also the #1 search on both Google and Yahoo! as well as Twitter :)
