Independent wrestler, Isis the Amazon was once again spotted at an FCW event last night in Fort Myers, FL.
Earlier this month, a picture surfaced of Isis in the FCW Arena with referee, Daniel Skyler.
At last night’s FCW show, the 6’9″ tall wrestler was spotted with FCW staff and talent, including Alicia Fox’s sister, Christina Crawford, according to Diva Dirt reader Bobby Lea Burchill. Additionally, Isis asked FCW staff if it was okay for her to take pictures with fans.
When reached for comment, Isis’ representative, Brad Konia told Diva Dirt: “We still can’t offer any comment.”
If our suspicions are correct, it’s safe to say that WWE has never had a Diva quite like this. Isis stands stands nearly as tall as The Great Khali or The Big Show.

I really hope that she’s been signed, she is definitely unique in the world of wrestling, especially from the women’s side of things. They could definitely give her a Chyna-like push at some point and put her up against the men as well as the women.
I hate to say this. But I hope not.
The WWE is probably going to put her against Beth in a feud that MAY or MAY NOT last long. Then put her in a gimmick with Khali.
I pray they treat her right IF they sign her.
WOW Isis The Amazon i hope she gets signed, she is a great worker plus she could be a problem for divas like Beth and LayCool. and it would add diversity to the division
@LadiiOfCurves – I understand where your coming from. Id rather they not sign her if they’re not going to do something special with her but… the mark in me wants to see her in WWE. In the great BATTLE OF THE GLAMAZONS at Wrestlemania! Or maybe not.
But maybe they can give us what they wanted to do with Chyna and Nicole Bass back in the day. Only Nicole was a horrible wrestler. So hopefully this girl isn’t as bad a Khali. But she can be a force! Nah but wait, what if they book her to squash the whole womens division like Chyna did in 2001?
Even though personally, I don’t think it destroyed the credibility of the other women..we’ll not badly the way people exaggerate. Because Chyna was meant to be stronger than the other girls. And it was never a skill issue, it was her size and strenght and the intimidation factor. I mean storyline wise, she was The 9th Wonder of the World after all. So it made sense that the girls would initially struggle against her. Had she stayed longer I’m sure Molly and Jacqueline would have gotten a good piece of her.
But anyway, Isis is unique. And even the name works! I can’t deny I’m excited over this. I’m imagining all these posibilities in my head. I just really hope that she can put on a decent match.
I’m sorry but in my opinion and it’s only my opinion, Isis is far from a great or even good worker. She needs a LOT of work, based on the Youtube matches I’ve seen with her against Traci Taylor and others. It’s obvious she has a very limited skill set because almost all the matches you’ll see of her follow practically the exact same script. Still she is an oddity in the world of womens wrestling with her size, but I don’t see her ever getting a serious push unless they try and match her against the men. So much for…”if you’re not hot enough to be in Playboy you can’t work for WWE”

Anyway she’s not Ashley bad, and from what i’ve seen better than Tigressa Caliente (is that what we’re calling her now?). She could bring some interest to the division just because of her look…something different so I guess that’s a good thing.
On her official website it says she underwent a 1 week FCW evaluation. I wonder if that is referring to the first picture of her we saw in FCW. Such a gloomy day in the women’s wrestling world, I hope this is true and she is signed it would be a break in the clouds. And I can’t help but wait for an Isis vs. AJ Lee. It would be an exagerated version of Kong vs. Gail Kim!

Also i hope they sign her no matter what because they could possibly have her go against top diva’s espicially Beth & Gail. Even if she gets released a month later at least we will see something interesting for a whole month. I want to see her squash diva’s like the bellas, kelly and rosa. That’s how they might start her career something like awesome kong with a big dominant streak and she could be the kong version of the WWE but better looking but she isnt so much of a looker but who cares, she can wrestle which is all that matters.
@debralicious that thing about her having the tryout has apparently been on her web page for almost a year now so that would make the time we saw the pictures her second time at FCW and this time her third so i would think she has been or will soon be signed it wouldnt shock me as FCW is about to be in serious need of divas if the whole thing about there being 3 divas on the next season of NXT is true
if she is signed this could be a really good thing for the divas division im all for them breaking the “diva-mold” hopefully this could lead to other indy wrestlers being signed even if they dont have the “diva look”

like have her come from the audience and attack face divas and then leave through the audience for a couple of weeks before she officially debuts that could get her awesome heat
What is with FCW and all of these divas not debuting on live TV? Most of them have been signed for quite a while.. Su yung, Jemma Palmer, Christina Crawford and Ricki (celeste). Im looking forward to all of these new divas except ricki…but i want to see su and jemma. Hopefully christina starts her career like alicia did and is hopefully not as jumpy & sloppy. If WWE do sign isis then the division is gaining back its energy bits by bits.
She is definetly limited in her moveset, every match I’ve watched with her usually follow the same formula. But she is a BIG girl so it’s only natural that she’s going to have a limited moveset. But I really hope WWE signs her, she has a lot of potential and I think she would really help the women’s division which has been lacking in substance to say the least.
Although she doesn’t look the bestin that photo, she has looked nice in other photographs and I think she fits WWE’s mold in terms of look. Her size brings a lot of potential in storylines yet it also brings a lot of bad gimmicks and possibilities for her such as being lovers with Khali or something, so I hope I don’t see that.
Let’s hope we find out soon. :)

You all should know by now that the WWE more than likely won’t use her properly which is why I hope they don’t sign her. I’m just afraid that as others have said she’s going to be turned into a 6’9 female version of Hornswoggle. More of a comedic attraction than a seriously credible competitor. Thoughts of some kind of pairing with Khali make me cringe. I know a lot of people have mentioned a Kong comparison but the difference is Kong is a great worker, but with proper training Isis could certainly improve. And I have to say that is one of the most unflattering pics I’ve ever seen of her. Maybe it’s the makeup, but she also gained considerable weight over the last couple of years too. I guess it could shake up the Divas Division if they use her right, I just don’t think WWE will.
She’s a tough sell for the Divas division. They have a handful of girls over 5’8″ but which she would still tower over them. Layla is tiny and Melina is not that tall either. It’s tough to book her, much more difficult than Awesome Kong. Any clean loss against a Diva almost a foot shorter than her pretty much kills her character.
They are trying to bring a Beth Chyna. Its obvious. Bring someone who can attack men like Chyna did, but with the looks and the glamor of Beth.
Its kinda interesting however saying that Sexy Star is overweight and then bring someone like Isis. It worries me however that she is so tall. Its already bad in a guy to have this height, but she’s probably going to have a lot of health problems.
Her move set is based on the bigger guys,like Kane, Taker and Show, so she’s definitely interesting. She’s only been a wrestler since 2008 apparently, and I would honestly prefer they would bring Awesome Kong over her.
Hmm.. I’m intrigued. But then again, I kinda dislike big women in wrestling. There’s not really much for them to do, other than dominate and be big, haha.
As tall as she is I could see her being someone’s bodyguard. Maybe when Beth returns and attacks LayCool Isis could come out and attack Beth and become LayCool’s bodyguard for a few months. Then eventually turn on them. I’d love to see that. =)

As in the cases of the male wrestlers I believe the amount of weight the WWE would allow a female to weigh depends on the type of gimmick she is portraying, meaning for example if a Diva has a very strong beefy monster type character (ala a Beth or Victoria) she would be allowed to weigh more and have more body mass than if she was portraying a glammed up sex pot type character (ala a Maria or Maryse).

Yeah, that is a good reason. However Sexy Star wasn’t playing a gimmick. I don’t know. Maybe you’re right and they were looking for a sexy luchadora Maryse looking girl.
They probably would have want to bring her as the manager of Los Aviadores.
I saw some pictures of her when she didn’t have a lot of that fat around her face she’s actually very pretty. I hope she gets signed, but gets pushed like Chyna not Bertha Faye. Also if it’s a weight problem a lot of the girls gain mustle in FCW. For example AJ lee came in very skinny now she has a six pack and muscles on those once skinny arms. Same could happen for Isis.
Honestly, I’ve seen a bit of her work and she could definitely use more training.
However, the fact that she doesn’t fit the “Diva” mold and they’re possibly signing her makes me smile. I hope she does get signed and does well there.

2.she’s like 6’8 tall so it would be hard 4 the divas to work with her like 4 example gail kim will not able to use her eat defeat on her.

Please WWE NOOOOO!!!! This would be so pointless lets face it, Chyna was exceptional and a one off, Beth is unique yes but she can go with the other Divas yes she is dominant but not invincible. This woman is just gonna be a freak, it will look ridiculous 6ft 9″ for christs sake and the possibilities are so limited it will get boring fast. Forget it just bring in some decent wrestlers who are the whole package its all we can really hope for…
For people who are complaining about her weight being difficult for the other Divas to work it, remember two words: Rey Mysterio.
He as tons of clean victories over big guys. By you’re logic, Khali, Kane, Big Show and even Taker should be still undisputed, cause the other guys wouldn’t know how to work with them.

There’s really no conceivable way any diva would be able to hit their finisher on a girl who’s 6’9, except maybe Alicia and Kelly. Faithbreaker? No. Eat Defeat? No. Melina’s flippy thing (I can’t think of the name for the life of me)? No. I think there would even be problems executing something as simple as a DDT…

Not sure where you’re getting your information from, rosarocks…I’ve known Isis for three years and she’s one of the nicest, most down-to-earth, not to mention hard-working person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. It’s an unfortunate fact of life that jealous, petty people tend to spread hurtful and false rumors about others.
I honestly thinks she will be used right. Im mean look at her size there is now way WWE can jobb that to kelly and maryse. She’ll definetly be dominant for around a month, until she might get defeated by beth. But i see her being unforgettable in WWE for being the most tallest/biggest woman ever to step in the WWE ring. But since most of her matches on youtube are from months ago she could of trained and learned new movesets and also she needs a better attire because the one’s she usually wear arent that fun to look at O.o

Big tall guys who can’t wrestle get exposed very quickly. Khali is an easy example and I think they’ve gone comedic with him to curtail “You Can’t Wrestle” chants. And Diva matches gone bad get boos and “Boring” chants. Combine the two and I’d be very worried for Isis.
If Isis is indeed signed I wonder could that either mean the chances of Kong (if she’s open to receiving one) being given a development contract are very great or at the very least the WWE is actively attempting to hire the former Knockout?

If WWE is genuinely interested, this would be a great opportunity to give the kids in the crowd something to ‘oooh’ and ‘aaah’ about for a while. There don’t have to be any inter-gender matches, just standing her in the ring next to anyone on the roster will get the point across enough. She could win a belt, or got without a belt, but her size will put her over. Moreover, this is a brilliant chance to give Beth Phoenix some of the most memorable moments in wrestling history. It would be the Hulk vs Andre of the women’s division, and I really hope they try to make it so. If you stop thinking about the logistics of it all and focus on the big picture, it all makes much more sense.
Who are the tallest divas Michelle, Maryse and Eve? think their at 5’9, 5’8? Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiit shes tall shes a foot taller than them! and prolly 2 foot taller than girls like Melina and Layla lmao! It would be funny to see this in the ring though.
I think it’s double standards for those who have gone on about her weight, it’s like when people were going on about Vickie Guerrero a while back, when Mickie James gets internally made fun of, it’s a riot and disgusting, yet it’s okay to do it to Isis (who has lost so much weight) or someone else? People should really think about what they’re saying, Mickie wasn’t overweight, but I don’t think it’s right for people to get worked up on one thing and then dish it out on someone else.
As for Isis, I have a feeling she might be signed, though I just think it will kill what Tamina has going as the ‘new generation’ of dominant Diva to rival Beth and Natalya. I don’t know it seems they like her height though I think that’d be the reason why WWE wouldn’t want her, I too hope she’s not Khali like in which she just uses throw around moves and instead, possesses some ability.
