Wrestling radio host Arda Ocal from Right After Wrestling bumped into former WWE Women’s Champion, Lita, last night at an event in Toronto. He writes to Diva Dirt:
Last night Lita, accompanied by Trish Stratus, attended a local event in Toronto, Ontario headlined by legendary Luchador el Hijo Del Santo. After the event, Right After Wrestling’s Arda Ocal caught up with Lita, who told him that she plans to open up a Lucha Libre themed restaurant in the Atlanta area. Her band, the Luchagors, are currently on hiatus, as other members of the band have other endeavours they are currently focusing on. Lita also has movie projects on the horizon. She is in town visiting Trish Stratus to speak about upcoming business projects.
It looks like Lita has a lot of things coming up. Good luck to her in all her future projects. Would be cool if her restaurant is open in time for WrestleMania in ATL next year!
Big thanks to Arda for the tip. Catch him Monday nights on Right After Wrestling at 11.05pm ET on Sirius Radio 98.

Hope she shows up on the 900th episode of RAW… puh-lease
Lita! I wonder what food she’s planning on serving? Mexican? Ill go everyday if I get to see her! Lol. And movie projects? Interesting. She looks so good recently and she died her hair red again. I keep wondering what role Stratus is going to play in all this. I keep dreaming creative called them and asked them to come up with their own storyline for the 900th episode of RAW. That would be so cool. Lita and Trish, teaming up again to take on LayCool. That would be awesome!
gotta love how the 2 most popular divas from wwe hang out LOL.id love lita in movies tv lol.
I do hope she shows up on WWE soon…. She is the reason why I started watching wrestling… love her….. I always supported her even when she was a heel….
Just miss her.. and I ‘d love to see her do atleast one match…
Wow congratulations to Lita!
Glad to hear she’s doing so well. I have always been a big Lita fan. I will definitely be visiting that restaurant, seeing as how I live less than an hour from Atlanta.
@TaylorJade I’m jealous! I live in Texas! Lol. But if she does open the restaurant, I just might go. I don’t know how great of an idea it is to make it Lucha themed though….would the novelty eventually wear off? Or maybe not since there’s all kinds of gimmick restaurants these days and they do fine. They’ve got coffee shops with female baristas in bikinis. There’s this place in San Antonio by the riverwalk called Dicks. The idea there is that the servers and staff are all dicks to you. A Lucha themed restaurant can work. If anyone can make something cool happen, its Lita.
Very good luck to Miss Lita. The food will probably be mexican, which is great. I hope she enters in some cool movies.
Her role in Dark Angel as “Thula” wasn’t so bad. As her biggest supporter I have to admit, I’m not a fan of her acting during the Kane/Hardy/Lita storyline. It wasn’t stellar. I saw some videos of her doing live improv theatre shows..Silver Scream Spookshow..and that was pretty good. She was playing some japanese geisha girl. It was funny. And I love mexican food. =)
congrats girl
I was thinking. Perhaps WWE approached them about narrating the upcoming WWE Divas Past and Present DVD? From what I’ve read, only Trish was confirmed for that project but now maybe Lita’s on board? Well I’m glad if that’s the case. I like The Luchagors but I’m glad they’re on a break because she needs to do other stuff. =)
