Unfortunately, I think it’ll be a title unification match. WWE doesn’t really use much creativity for their Divas and I can see them going, “Well, we’ve fired all the girls on SmackDown!, to lazy to think of something new on RAW. Let’s just unify those darn things.”

Lord jesus please make it a winner take all. That would be better for both lay-cool and melina’s partner. Melina’s partner could be Gail, Natalya or Eve. Give’s natalya and gail a better chance at gold. But i see them unifiting the titles w/ melina winning. I think that because she recently won the title and lay-cool won there title months ago. Plus melina would make an awesome double champion, she would make history. Also she can go from brand to brand defending the titles on both brands which is another good thing because it adds a new face on smackdown.

the only one of those id actually want to see is the winner takes all tag match with melina’s partner being either gail kim or natalya (so they could moe the whole HD to smackdown so they could feud with the gate crashers) even though it would probably be eve or kelly if they did it

i think that a winner takes all match could be a good way to move a raw diva over to smackdown to feud with laycool without having a divas draft

I really have no idea but they way Laycool were talking it should be surprising, but it will probably be stupid nonetheless.
@jaded I don’t think that will be it then only one member of Laycool will have the title and that kind of defeats the purpose of the co champions storyline. And they said it would help Melina out so maybe it will be “other”?

Maybe a returning Beth Phoenix could he Melina’s partner hmm. I doubt it’s Gail Kim because come on I don’t even have to explain. I don’t think it is Natalya because she is still managing HD.
I don’t think it would be a Unification match because that means wwe can push only one or two divas at a time. If melina wins then what will Laycool do on smackdown have random matches against kelly and rosa. If Laycool wins then what will Melina do, wwe do not have enough legitimate contenders to support one title.

the rebel in me decided on other, but i don’t have an other in mind. i just don’t want any of the above to happen..

if one of them were to happen, though, i’d like to see melina traded to smackdown (without the title.. somehow). it’ll open up raw as being the land of opportunity for the still relative newcomers in maryse, alicia, eve and the bellas. and it’ll also give michelle somebody on her own level to wrestle – until beth comes back at least. also, if melina does move to smackdown, beth could always come back as heel and they could reignite their feud.

Anything they do at this point with this storyline will affect the Divas division greatly. I’m thinking it will be a unification type of math at Night of Champions where McCool will finally get a title of her own and LayCool will have full control of both the belts and the Divas division. Either that or they will let Melina get a partner for the match and have a tag team winners take all the belts or something, I don’t know.
I’m getting sick and tired of LayCool having full control of the Divas division. I seriously hope they merge the titles together or something since two titles aren’t doing anything. There is no competion on Smackdown. WWE has sespended or released all the talent there.
I seriously wonder when Natalya will get her run. I’m giving up on the Divas division until they give the belt back to Alicia Fox, she deserves the title and when she gets it she gets one of the shortest runs possible.

I think it can be the second choice. Michelle vs Melina.

It could also be a Michelle/Layla vs Melina/Kelly in a winner takes it all, but I hope not, because that would mean that Kelly would be a champion and I think she needs to train more until she can have the title.

i think Laycool will offer a “winner takes all” match for NOC with Laycool vs Melina and a misterious partner(to be revealed at the PPV,where Beth makes a suprise return).
and for those not believing in a returning Beth,i advice not to believe in all that´s written or said because a suprise return means exactly that,a suprise…

Wow I didn’t realize how exciting the announcement was until I read the poll. Michelle and Melina have the best chemistry out of all the divas and I really see Trish vs Lita potential in both of them, however, LayCool are the stars of Smackdown and Melina is the star diva of Raw and if either of them moved then it would hurt the show they left by a lot.

I really hope Michelle gets sent to Raw, I think it could help the Divas division a ton, like for real it could be our saving grace. But she won’t move because of the Undertaler.. So Melina would probably move to SmackDown, the show no one watches.. Oh well.

I’d like Melina to move to SD, because even though I love her either way, she’s done her best work there IMO. Mainly because she gets more time, and MNM were there. I think it’s possible as well, given the network move. I think we could see Melina and Morrison both switching, alongside some others.

@AzureSkye how could a unification make it so the minority divas get a shot at the belt??? if they get rid of a belt that makes it less likely that the minority divas get a shot at the belt. also if they do unify the belts i for see a major divas purge

but i dont think thats wats gonna happen because with smackdown about to move to syfy i dont see them taking a title away from smackdown and u kno they wont have their flagship show (raw) without a title either it just doesnt make sense

I dont want a unification of the titles. That would mean a lot of divas will be released.

If LayCool wins both titles what will be the point. They have no one to fight, but Kelly Kelly and Rosa and Tiffany if she isnlt released. Then Beth when she returns. (same matches every week just like now). Also what will the Divas on Raw do with no belt. It would make no sense for a unification of the title or for Raw to have both belts or Smackdown to have them.

My guess would be a proposal of a trade for Melina to swap with a Smackdown diva or for her to join LayCool.

I love stipulation matches! They make match exciting to watch.

I would personally like to see them fight at NOC for a trade. If LayCool wins Melina has to trade places with a Smackdown diva.

This just popped in my head for NOC:
It would be funny if Teddy comes out (this is if Melina loses) and explains that he made a deal with Raw that if they lost Melina they get to pick the Diva they want from SD. Then the Raw GM emails the show and Michael reads out the Layla is the diva Raw want to trade with and Teddy grants it. LayCool has a fit and hugging each other tight Layla crying that she doesn’t wanna go and the security has to pull them a part. Layla kicking and screaming. Back in the ring Melina attacks Michelle with a boot and whatever finisher.

Oh me and my wishful thinking. If only.

tbh I dont think its any of these choices….its going to be something stupid I can bet Lay-Cool plan is going yo back fire…We always get hopes up for moments like thse only to be let down when the time comes….

1st off why would they unfiy the titles ? It would be pretty pointless if you ask me…
I dobut Michelle will challenge Melina for her title….. The whole Gimmick of being Self Co fessed Womens Champs is to share the titles , the rate Layla & Michelle have been acting abt being champs i highly dobut wwe would drop it like that….Melina isnt joining Lay-Cool….

Also if they did unify the title what are the likes of Gail , Jillian & Natalya getting a title regin or shot ??? that % would just drop all the way down , with the divas title and womens title they would still have a high % rate of getting a shot or a title regin….Cuz we all know here on Diva-Dirt that wwe builds the division around Melina , Beth & Lay-Cool with Mickie gone now they have one less top diva to worry abt….

I don’t think Beth is returning soon. She said herself she wants to return when she is 100%. She is set for Oct, but it could be longer. Why would they do LayCool vs Melina/Beth or Melina/K2. Wouldn’t they do LayCool vs Melina and someone from Raw.

I honestly think if not tonight but at NOC a Raw diva might be coming to Raw. I personally think it’s time for the WWE to start doing its job with the Diva’s.

Keep Melina, Jillian, Gail and Alicia or Raw and put the Bellas or split them up (Nikki on Raw and Brie on SD), Eve and Maryse on SD.

Melina needs to go heel and that would be by dropping the belt to Alicia.

But back to the point of the post. I think the offer would be for Melina to come to SD after a match at NOC. Which will eventually backfire and cause some friction between LayCool and enter Beth and then maybe a break up of LayCool.
