Raw
Gail Kim, Nikki Bella & Brie Bella def. Maryse, Jillian Hall & Rosa Mendes.
The girls were allowed to wear much more revealing bathing suits than they did on Raw a few weeks back. No offense to the ladies, but it was a fairly typical Divas match. I will say this, I had a blast watching this match because it seemed like all six ladies were having fun – even the heels. (Source: TheSteelCage.net)

Layla def. Kelly Kelly to retain the Women’s Championship.
The crowd was behind Kelly Kelly, but she did not look good at this event in terms of her wrestling. She blew a couple of spots and eventually tried a sunset flip out of the corner and Layla just sat down and hooked her legs for the quick pin. (Source: PWTorch)

2. Melina beat Alicia Fox in a sloppy match with her old split leg-drop. Before the match, Eve was throwing T-shirts to the crowd, but Fox kicked her out of the ring. (Source: PWInsider)
SmackDown
First, I must say the the Bella Twins look absolutely amazing in real life. Second, I was very surprised with this match. The match was extremely good. The Bellas got a lot of offense in, and at one point Nikki hit a nasty dropkick on Layla that was perfectly executed. There were several points where either Layla or Michelle, whichever one wasn’t in the ring, would make sure the ref was distracted before attacking whichever Twin was in the ring. The Twins didn’t get out without their signature switcheroo, though, as Nikki and Brie switched while the ref was scolding McCool. The finish came when Nikki rolled up Layla after Layla was distracted by McCool. Perhaps a sign of some tension? (Source: PWTorch)

these mark melina’s return to house shows right? i’m glad she’s back on the tour circuit, i have been worried that she was brought back too soon, not having enough time to fully heal, but i guess this shows that she’s perfectly able.
Bella’s on Smackdown against Laycool, that could work well, at least they’d be used
I’d love to see the Bellas on Smackdown tbh. They always get left out of multi person tag matches on RAW and Smackdown needs any sort of Face characters to build a storyline. Any storyline is better than none, so why not ship the Bellas over?
8/28 Raw in Cohasset, Mass. … Diva tag match: Gail Kim and the Bella Twins defeated Maryse, Jillian, and Rosa Mendez. The girls all came down in Bikini tops and shorts carrying beach balls, swimmies and pool floats. They all appeared to be “out of character” as they simply had fun and all laughed with each other during the match. The Bellas pulled the switch behind the refs back and Jillian gets rolled up for the win.

i’m totally for the bellas being moved to smackdown. i really like tag team wrestling and if things work out for tiffany, there’ll be three diva teams on the blue brand. team rosa with somebody from fcw, and that’ll make four, would work well if they do end up turning the women’s title into a tag one..

They did a lot of mixing of Raw and Smackdown stars at these shows. It’s nice to see that they changed it up a little.
And please tell me someone has a YouTube clip of the DiBiase-Morrison match from Sunday. Apparently, during the match, Maryse took a little kid’s sign and tore it up, really pissing off the kid’s parents.

i was there for the layla vs kelly match on smackdown. in the beginning layla got mad that the crowd kept cheering kelly that layla kicked her own jacket out of the ring and into the crowd. the fan then gave the jacket to the ringside guys. also, kelly did bitch alot of moves. also, layla entered to her own theme song rather than michelle’s which surprised me. me and my sister were the only 2 that seemed to cheer for layla. :)
I’m glad Melina’s back on the houseshows. It means she’s probably in tip-top shape, and if this LayCool-Melina feud is going to work she needs to be.
8/29 Raw Live in Hyannis, Massachusetts … MATCH 5: KELLY KELLY and GAIL KIM pinned JILLIAN and ROSA MENDES
The match had some sort of summer beach theme, but I didn’t catch the name of it. They played Jillian’s music first, and Fink announced Jillian and Rosa first, but Gail and Kelly came out, so Fink had to correct himself and the music made a sloppy cut to Kelly’s song. Oh well. All four of them were wearing two-pieces, and their hair all looked like they’d just come from the ocean (or the shower), which was a nice touch. The heels were also wearing shorts/skirts, which allowed the babyfaces to pull them down to reveal… bikini bottoms. While the match was by no means raunchy or anything, it was far less tame than the one-piece swimsuit match from Raw a few weeks ago. Gail looks significantly better in person than on TV. Well, they all did, actually. I don’t know why I’m talking so much about this match. It was your standard women’s tag match, with surprisingly few botches. Super Soakers and beach balls were used.

I would be glad if the Bellas went to SD! TOn RAW They are only used as random girls in backstage segments and in crappy one minute matches.
They could prove they aren’t the worst girls on the WWE roster as a lot of people believe. Besides Laycool need people to feud and a feud with the Bellas would be cool.
They are, storyline wise, the only team with a closer relationship than Laycool so it would be interesting.
The Bellas defeating Lay-Cool.. Proves that faces always win at house shows.
