Really excited for this, its a great oppourtunity for the girls. Diva Dirt you guys have to rally up everyone to make sure the ratings go up this season due to the divas being on there. its only going to be six weeks, they have to make a big impact
I hope the first episode is impressive.
Eh, unless your tv is outfitted with Nielsen set meter device it’s not going to matter. A lot of fans (let’s call ‘em diva haters, LOL) are already panning this coming edition of NXT.
i just don’t like how Jamie has a profile on here it’s only fair to take it down she’s considered a diva and has been doing shoots and stuff as a diva so how that fair?

Im pretty excited for this season! Hopefully it’s not going to anything remeniscent of the Diva Search. God forbid should we see them trying to diss the diva.
My only beef with this was the inclusion of Jamie Keyes. Don’t get me wrong, i like her. But this role should have gone to Savannah. She was practically ready for the WWE ring prior to her being turned into a ring-announcer.

I was so excited! I was there live & everyone was really shocked when they seen Aloisia pop up on the titantron! My favorites are AJ & Naomi & i like Aksana too. I just hope we can prove all the diva haters wrong!

The season is going to last 5 episodes. And the last 2 episodes are automatically going to take a hit in the ratings because they’re going to air in new timeslots. Here’s the schedule:
Episode 1: Tuesday, 9/7 at 10:00 eastern
Episode 2: Tuesday, 9/14 at 10:00 eastern
Episode 3: Tuesday, 9/21 at 10:00 eastern
Episode 4: Tuesday, 9/28 at 11:00 eastern (one hour later than normal)
Episode 5: Friday, 10/1 at 7:00 eastern (final show; lead-in for Smackdown at 8:00)

I’ve got to say that I am disappointed that Gail Kim wasn’t one of the Pros. She’s one of the most talented divas in the WWE and would have had a lot to offer to them. She’s not used enough or properly on TV and would have had something good to do instead of jobbing.
OH MY GOSH lol Aloisia’s promo was hella impressive.
I can’t help but already be rooting for her, I really can’t see how she wouldn’t be a star in the making. I just really like the way she talks, I mean she sounds pretty normal, and she’s actually kind of pretty!
I hate to be Debbie Downer, but Maxine and Aksana left me sort of… blank with their promos. Hopefully they’ll show more nuances while on NXT but Maxine just seems like a more nouveau riche version of Maryse (in fact Maryse might have been a better pro if they are giving Max a golddiggerish gimmick) and Aksana just seemed bland. Maybe it’s because she hasn’t mastered English yet. But Naomi, AJ, Aloisia, and Jaime all seem to have something there. Jaime just seemed like she has spunk (actually she seems like Tiffany’s replacement but you didn’t here that from me) and the other three are characters that we haven’t had or haven’t seen in a while.

5 episodes! :( Maybe they’ll do one on NXT, one exclusive to WWE.com and then continue it on, so we get 10 episodes. It just seems silly so only have 5 episodes as there wouldn’t be enough story in them. Tbh, i don’t see all of these Divas going up to the main roster after the season, same with some of the NXT2 rookies.
Anyone else get a stooping feeling that Angela Fong/Savannah was passed around as an idea before her release? They were considering doing the Divas for NXT 3 back then and it seems a bit weird how Jamie’s entered the equation.

only 6 divas??? sad… i hope they make it longer than just 5 episodes… I didnt really watch NXT 1 and 2.. but now I’m gonna start.. cant wait… I had the impression that there would be guys and girls in this not a all diva competition but I like too….. SO EXCITED… HOPFULLLY PEOPLE WILL TUNE IN and hopefully everyone even the pros gets character build up…
I feel sad about Savannah too.. though I may not have seen any matches but she was there already… they didn’t hang on to her… fufufu… Its just like Torrie and the Divas Title back then… now Savanah and NXT…
Quite frankly, when NXT2 started I remember posting here about Laycool and how big this was for them, how it was a historic first and major reward and vote of confidence. All of it was true and all of it panned out. It panned out quite positively too, especially due to the ‘net dynamic on Kaval’s side. Laycool indeed mastered that dynamic I was talking about on multiple occasions – putting Kaval over face while staying heel themselves. This was exemplified well by their last official managerial act for Kaval in the triple-threat, Layla wiping her hands off for a laugh after trying to console him. It was perfect, off the cuff and it shows that they had a base understanding of where the line was and how to milk the situation. Good for them.
Now, I also mentioned that Low-Ki was only one of three to really look at, along with Hennig (just a beast for where he is developmentally) and Alex Riley (notorious live wire on the mic from development, gold improv and 120% kayfabe 24/7). Seems that was true as well. Sometimes the “I told you sos!” are the most rewarding for heels…!
As for the All-Diva NXT3, I have some very mixed feelings. I am extremely concerned about the actual ring work and limited potential for meaningful pairings. It could end up feeling like a low-rent All-Diva Superstars every week, where they just mix up a bunch of Divas that aren’t Melina/Laycool/Maryse/Beth etc in random matches. Then you get the occasional cameo from a heavy hitter to lean on management favorites. Now let’s get on the record for NXT3 … Prescott’s early pick is, of course, AJ. She’s already got a solid look with an attitude and mannerisms dialed in right for that character. Though I want to get in a word for Jamie Keyes… if my info is correct, this is going to be WWE’s response to a detailed breakdown of what’s went wrong for the Divas. This does, whether it’s too complicated for some to grasp or not, ultimately break down into a lack of meaningful faces. Along with a lack of a competent method of producing faces that isn’t “heels we got used to seeing emote before matches for 3-5 secs for years on end.” They need that homerun face, the girl you like that you can root for and makes you feel good about it… You know what I mean. If Trish hadn’t captured it so well, we probably wouldn’t have anything to go off of. So I’m interested to see if they go with the “against all odds” type of homerun face with Jamie Keyes. I could easily see it both happening and working.
I think AJ has this one in the bag. I won’t be surprise if it comes between AJ, Alosia, Naomi/Liviana. Alosia is going to get a lot of heat for who her pro is lmfao. AJ, Liviana, Alosia are the only ones who I think actually have the right promos. Aksana and Goldust definitely get the award for the WTF pairing. Anyway, team New Jersey!<3 I'm definitely pulling in for either Aksana or AJ. Really, can't choose, but I think AJ has the better chance.
Btw, am I the only person who realized that Liviana is wearing the same dress as Mickie did before.
AJ must feel short changed, I mean she had vignettes that went unaired for a SmackDown debut, now she has to hope that she can muster up enough popularity on her own – because lets face it Primo’s a no help – so she can get by week by week.
And Kelly Kelly a pro? Ha there’s irony.
Aksana FTW! I love her! I see Naomi Night winning this season and i hope that there arent just 5 episodes! Aksana being paired with Goldust was awesome! He is a veteran and can teach Aksana some Mic Skills and Wrestling Skills

So true. I can even see this crossing all the way over to the main roster with Vickie “winning” a female title doing a Stephanie McMahon and Aloisia doing a Tori.
The casual fans (people who see diva matches as bathroom breaks) are not going to love this season of NXT. Let’s face it, women’s wrestling fans may rejoice that the girls are finally getting a chance to showcase their talent, but taking into consideration that most fans aren’t interested in womens’ wrestling, I have a feeling that people are gonna raise their voice and things are going to get ugly. This, however, may be a good thing if the Rookie divas deliver.
On a side note, I don’t like Aloisia’s body proportion. Her upper body is too large in comparison to her lower body. But then again, that’s just me.

041293 – I’m also a bit worried by that, actually. I used to dance with women who have similar proportions and for some reason, all of them have injured their ankles because of minor things like turns or slight jumps. And it gets even more dangerous if she has those proportions and she’s overdeveloped.
However, I’m no expert when it comes to these things. That could be just a mere coincidence.
Hopefully she does well because stature, as controversial as it may be, has a lot of potential for interesting story lines (no pun intended of course.)

^ Nope. I’m glad that they actually have Co-Ed mentors, because it mixes things up a bit. Having all girl mentors would’ve just been as boring as having AJ being mentored by Melina and Naomi being mentored by Alicia. Too obvious for the fans. Glad they threw us a curve ball with the pairings even if some of them are kinda just like wtf. I won’t judge until I see their chemistry together.

Well, it’s cool that season will be all Divas and that Rookies each bring some different to the table. While I personally haven’t seen any of the six rookie wrestle, I’ve heard a lot of good things about them especially AJ Lee. I just hope that WWE doesn’t do those stupid challenges and let them wrestle as I believe that there’s only going to be four shows to this season.
Now on to the “Pro”, (My comments are as to what makes sense storyline wise as the WWE want us to believe NXT is real. So the least the WWE can do is making the storyline believable.)
Vicki Guerrero, I don’t actually have a problem with her being a Pro as she brings a great heel factor to her. Vicki gets great heat from the fans and if the WWE is going to make Aloisia a heel, then Vicki makes the perfect choice to pair Aloisia with.
Goldust, I actually cool with Goldust being a Pro to a Diva Rookie. His bizarre gimmick makes sense for him should work and be entertaining. (I was against Laycool as Pros for Season and was proven wrong as they were very entertaining and had great chemistry with Kaval.) So I’m sure we’ll some entertaining things for sure from Goldust.
Primo, yeah right what is the WWE thinking? Primo while he’s good in the ring has no good mic skills and personality wise; he brings nothing to the table. If WWE is dead on having a couple of guys as Pros, why not use Zack Ryder? They could have had Zack flirting from his Rookie or flirting with all the Rookie. Zack has good mic skills and had in my opinion one the best lines from Season 2. “I only care about my Rookie but that new announcer chick is hot! Call Me!”
Alicia Fox is a great choice for a Pro. Alicia bring attitude and you need attitude to make in the WWE. Alicia isn’t greatest wrestler in the ring but she’s better than some of the other Divas in the WWE.
Bella Twins, don’t they get an enough time TV? I mean what are they going Jamie Keyes? How hit on every lame guest host on RAW? How in hell are they supposed to show Jamie how to wrestle as they can’t wrestle themselves? Wish Jamie had a Pro like Gail Kim or even Jillian Hall.
Kelly Kelly, the biggest joke of all the Pros on Season. Seriously, Kelly Kelly is going teach Naomi how to wrestle? To quote Zack Ryder, “Are Serious Bro?” (Remember people, I’m talking from storyline point of view) Kelly Kelly can’t do a simple dropkick. The only thing Kelly Kelly can do copy other people’s wrestling style (cough Mickie James cough). What Kelly Kelly needs to do is go back down to FCW and learn her own wrestling style. (Yes, I’m a Kelly hater and I freely admit it.)
So that’s my opinion of the “Pros” for Season 3, just have to wait and see how it goes. I’m going pick my choice for the winner of Season 3; Jamie Keyes with Aloisia being the runner up. As I have said before, Jamie Keyes is one the nicest Divas you will ever meet. I hope that she wins but no matter who wins, it looks like this Season has a great set of Rookies.

Am I the only who thought Maryse should’ve been Aksana’s Pro? They both have that “blonde, Foreign, I’m prettier than you” thing going on. And then they could’ve both belittled the audience and fellow Divas in their respective Foreign languages, it would’ve been like the new Miz/Alex Riley pair.

AJ and Naomi are the best in-ring talents and Aloisa being shown right at the end is REALLY going to shake things up, hopefully.
riahhh21, I TOTALLY agree about the Maryse comment. IMO Aksana seems to be more like a face, and it’d work really well with a heel like Maryse mentoring her.
I’d have given AJ Lee a mentor like Gail Kim and possibly someone else for Jamie Keyes instead of the Bella Twins.
I don’t have any problems with Kelly Kelly mentoring Naomi Night. Think about it, Kelly is one of the most over Divas in the company and it should rub off on Naomi, who has a flashy moveset and is quite charismatic.
Alicia/Maxine is fine, though I don’t really see her progressing too far.
Vickie/Aloisa is a PERFECT match IMO. The most over heel in the company with a monster Diva under her wing could provide her with a great platform to become a top heel one day.

I was certain Su Yung would be in this season I mean they have just signed her least they could do is debut her as a rookie
It’s still not been cofirmed, seriously Su Yung’s ‘comments’ could’ve been said by Hornswoggle for all we know, it was so basic for someone who’s been signed to the number one wrestling company’s development promotion. Plus, she was signed how many months ago apparently? ‘Scheduled’ to debut in August (still no) whereas Isis the Amazon was signed weeks ago and immediately on NXT. Plus, Ricki Vaughn debuted after Yung’s apparent signing and was added to the roster page, Yung hasn’t.
Also why should Maryse be Aksana’s pro? She already takes the attention of DiBiase as his personal assistant? At least Aksana and DiBiase could be entertaining, rather than Maryse hogging the limelight, plus what good a ‘pro’ would she be? Aksana would’ve learnt Maryse’s five moves by now, so it’d be pretty redunant (I know the pro’s do crap all, but still) Goldust is bizarre and entertaining and so undershone in the WWE, I just love the fact the Prince of Perversion now has a sidekick, I wouldn’t mind them sending Aksana into managing Goldust after (because wrestling isn’t her strongest asset)
We all know how some of the girls are already better in the ring that some of the current Divas, but I find it hilarious how most of them had more personality.
I think the Goldust/Aksana pairing will be hilarious. I really like Goldust. Primo? Well, the guy needs to do something before he gets future endeavored.
I like all the rookies, to be honest. However I’m probably going to vote Aloisia (hideous name) just because she doesn’t fit the Diva looks and that is what WWE needs.
My question is: why did they get vicki to be a pro? they could’ve at least got gail kim or maryse, even jillian!
Because Vikie = Heat. Also she’s a classic manager, you can imagine Vickie parading Aloisia around like something from King Kong. Maryse is too busy taking DiBiase’s limelight and WWE don’t care enough for Jillian or Gail. It’s sad, but it’s the truth.
@Mandy, Vickie Guerrero, probably, gets the most heat, out everyone on roster including Males, so i t would make sence for them to put someone with her to get them over with the crowd,
A.J! MMMM! ;). I really like the way Aksana talks. I like when she said she’s ‘the most pretty girl in NXT’..lol. Aloisia isn’t a bad name at all IMO. I don’t know why everyone is saying that. I actually like it alot better then ‘Isis’.
@Looking Glass–Maryse “steals” DiBiase’s limelight because WWE have given Ted NOTHING to do. If Ted had a feud or something to take the focus off Maryse (her joining up with Ted was the last interesting thing that happened for him), Maryse would be forced to take a backseat. It’s not like Maryse is doing anything especially distracting during his matches.
But I wouldn’t want Maryse to mentor Aksana. I would have like Maryse to mentor Naomi… but while Naomi is giving it her all, Maryse isn’t mustering up an interest unless Naomi loses. Then Maryse (and Ted) pull off some Mommie Dearest stuff.
Not true, DiBiase has stuff to do but because WWE want to ensure he gets over, they force Maryse upon us instead. For example, even when he was feuding with John Morrison they were shoving Maryse in there and thinking of bringing in Melina to make it two on two. As for anything distracting? Wearing coats, appearing on commentary and climbing the money in the bank ladder? You’re right, she doesn’t do a lot really.
I hate the way WWE have cut off Lee and Night from AJ and Naomi, I know they use singular names to make it like they’re the ‘only’ girl in wrestling with that name. However, AJ just sounds awkward as does Naomi, plus they weren’t really that bad names. I’m just hoping it’s not necessarily the foregone conclusion WWE wants it to be with Aloisia, I mean her main competition is AJ, but having Primo really pushes down her chances.
With Aksana and Goldust, I’d love to see him do some more of those segments like he did with Cherry Bomb a few months back. Goldust is a good character, he just needs to be given something to do and I think the fans could get behind him and Aksana as a duo.
