The NXT cast for season three has been revealed! A picture leaked (see above) before tonight’s NXT broadcast could even end shows that the cast will consist of six Divas: AJ Lee, Aksana, Aloisia, Jamie Keyes, Maxine and Naomi.
Profiles on all six rookies below:
* AJ Lee: 23-year old AJ, real name April Jeanette, was signed by WWE last spring. Prior to WWE, she had been working on the independent circuit as Miss April. AJ primarily worked in the New Jersey area for Women Superstars Uncensored where she was one half of the WSU Tag Team Champions at the time of her signing. Since joining WWE developmental, she had been going by the name AJ Lee and is the current Queen of FCW after defeating Serena for the crown on an episode of FCW TV.
Pro: Former WWE Tag Team Champion, Primo.
* Aksana: 28-year old Aksana, real name Zivile Raudoniene, is a familiar face on the bodybuilding and fitness modeling circuit. The Lithuanian was signed by WWE sometime last year and has recently been hosting ‘The Aksana Show’ on FCW television.
Pro: Veteran WWE Superstar, Goldust.
* Aloisia: 23-year old Aloisia is independent wrestler, Isis the Amazon, whose signing Diva Dirt first broke last Friday. In a huge turnaround, she has already been thrown into the national television spotlight as the sixth and final rookie on NXT. She is 6’9″ tall and stands as tall as The Big Show and The Great Khali.
Pro: SmackDown’s official consultant, Vickie Guerrero.
* Jamie Keyes: 25-year old Jamie Keyes, real name Brittany Beede, was the ring announcer for NXT season two and is now stepping into the ring for season three. She was signed earlier this year after WWE saw some pictures she had taken while modeling for Wrestlicious. She also appeared as a valet for Kevin Nash at TNA’s Final Resolution pay per view last December.
Pros: Raw Divas, The Bella Twins
* Maxine: 24-year old Maxine (formerly Liviana in FCW), real name Karlee Perez, has been with WWE since last summer appearing first as ‘Candy Girl’ before being renamed Liviana. The Latina was a model prior to her WWE signing and was arrested for a DUI in June 2009. She is the current GM of FCW on their weekly television show.
Pro: Former Divas Champion, Alicia Fox.
* Naomi: 22-year old Naomi, real name Trinity McCray, was signed to a developmental deal last August. Prior to joining WWE, she was a dancer for the Orlando Magic basketball team. Since joining FCW, McCray was re-christened Naomi Night and has quickly adapted to life in the ring, delivering some good, solid performances in FCW, so much so that she was crowned the first ever FCW Divas Champion earlier this year. Coincidentally, her announcement as part of the NXT cast tonight (August 31st) marks exactly one year since she reported to developmental on this same day in 2009. It looks like WWE is dropping her last name of ‘Night’ for NXT.

Kaval and Layla make a nice couple on TV. They should go for her staying as his valet or build a love story with them after LayCool breaks up. It will keep things interesting And seriously, I can’t wait for NXT 3.
And I don’t like to brag but, didn’t I say today that WWE would push Isis(Aloisa)into the spotlight fast? Yup I called it Although if you look back at their history of signing huge people..or unusually big..they tend to do that..so ya, McMahon is predictable on that end.
Primo is a fantastic wrestler btw, so I don’t know where the hate there i coming from. They’re there to keep things interesting. The women will need the help. The Bellas and Kelly aren’t known to get consistent reactions so this wil benefit them as much as their rookies. They’re going to build character and that is always welcome for any diva in WWE. This is their chance(Both rookies and The Bellas and Kelly) to make themselves known, as Lita and Trish stressed about this very subject on The LAW a couple of days ago. Its time to make an impression on the fans and McMahon.
If anybody was wondering, like I was, the theme song this season is “You Make the Rain Fall” by Kevin Rudolf.

No she isnt not at all,,, have you seen her FCW matches its better than AJ’s matches on FCW just because she is sloppy on RAW doesnt mean she is in general she wasnt sloppy on SD nor ECW dont you know RAW is live which means most of the time they have to rush, uh ignorance :|
@LACEYFAN was Su Yung really signed because it was reported and then nothing she has reported to FCW and i havent heard anything else since even Melanie said that she was sure if she had really been signed or not
No, I like Alicia’s matches, the final Queen match with Angela was excellent, but she’s still nothing in WWE. She blends into the wallpaper just as much as most of the other Divas. It seems more ignorant to me to suggest she’s some kind of star that has all this wisdom to impart on a new Diva when she’s really no better than Kelly or the Bellas in those terms. Actually, Kelly would seem to be a much bigger star judging by fan reactions and I still think she’s a poor choice as well.
@Jayd211 well its in all forums and sources and some commentator in a match said that su will be joining WWE soon and she said in a interview ‘ thanks for all the support from fans and hope they bring it all to when im in the WWE’

Why do people still care about reactions?!!?? Alicia still gets booed but you cant hear it most of the time because people should be paying attention to the match and not what the pointless crowd screams to. Plus when alicia was face she had the people dancing literally on there feet member that on ECW and now that she is heel everyone hates her AND most of the time the crowd are 70% kids there only going to cheer for the faces how un – smart of you . Also when she won at MITB you hear a the crowd screaming and booeing.
Hadent Melanie cleared the whole Su Yung situation already? Until she makes her way to FCW. She’s not considered a signee any longer, not by DD anyway.

@LaceyVonErichFan – You didn’t just ask that….Crowd reactions weigh in on who gets pushed and who doesn’t. Maybe that doesn’t apply for everyone(See LayCool), but if you can get the crowd invested in your segments/matches;then that’s a good indication of them doing their jobs well. That’s the goal buddy, getting the people to give a damn.

I cant believe everyone is saying they arent watching this well coming from outside the diva dirt world. Hopefully we see AJ vs Aloisia on the first night so people will actually watch.
I love the picture and I gotta say naomi looks fierce!!! This is gonna be exciting coz we already know that FCW divas can really work. I’m sure some divas on the main roster will learn alot from them.

Yeah it’s predictable but still sad. People seem to be amused that there’s a massive woman involved but that’s about it. I’d like to see it do at least reasonably so the people predicting WWE’s worst ratings ever can suck it.

That pic is all kind of awesome. To be honest, Isis inclusion made the comming season a little more interesting. Especially for a non diva fan, I can see them tuning in just to see her interact with the other divas.

I actually kinda happy with this season but i guess your typical ‘diva-hating-fans’ aren’t gonna watch or attend the show. But something occured to me.. Vickie Guerrero doesnt have an entrance theme, i bet she’ll have one when Aloisa competes. AJ’s promo was cute with the laugh & “i’m doing it for the geeks”. I want Naomi or AJ to win!

Boy, the WWE threw in the towel for Season 3. No main event Divas as pros, just the eye candy. LOL @ Kelly Kelly considered a pro. The company could have had NXT go out with style by putting in the big guns like; Beth, Gail, Melina, Maryse, and Jillian to try to change the WWE Universe’s view on women’s wrestling and show how great it can actually be. Instead they just shot themselves in the foot by putting zero star power behind the product.
YES YES YES YES YES! This is pretty epic don’t you think? WWE better be paying us back for all the times they’ve given us one minute matches over the past few months.
Firstly, Aloisa was getting so much buzz on the show, and including Josh Matthews. If she is going to be a heel, she will be hated so bad by having Vickie on her side. She looked amazing aswell, I never thought 6 foot 9 could be hot lol!
Next, AJ being with Primo is kind of poo but he is a good worker, so why not give him something to do? I’d rather he mentor Maxine, but whatever, this pairing could make some great matches, and hopefully not an on-screen partnership off NXT.
Noami looks amazing and by the sounds of her promo, she will be a Face, which I’m happy about, shame we won’t hear her cheesy theme though, I love it haha.
GOLDUST IS A PRO! YES! Sorry for that there, he’s one of my favourites and thank god he is getting used. His promo was sick tonight. And while I wanted him to be paired with Naomi so that she could be the Luna to his Artist gimmick and bring it back, Aksana is also a top pairing. As I think she is more of a character, I can see them keeping the two together after NXT is over. New Marlena anyone?

FCW is the minor leagues. It doesn’t mean anything.
Kelly is the most popular diva in WWE, which is more meaningful than having a belt since she doesn’t need it to get over. Eve needed Cryme Tyme and the belt, yet still gets half the crowd reaction as Kelly.
I never noticed that Jamie Keyes had muscular arms, not that there’s anything wrong with that. It’s refreshing to see that the WWE didn’t go for an all conventional skinny girl roster.
I don’t know why people were expecting for Melina and Laycool to be pro’s. They already have the focus with the unification thing and its interesting that they put some guys in the middle. I honestly think that a lot of people won’t see this show. But it should be different.
