As announced on tonight’s premiere of NXT 3, this season will last 12 weeks. As previously reported, Syfy is set to drop the show after October 1st when SmackDown debuts on the network, so it’s unknown where the remaining 7 episodes will air as including tonight’s premiere, Syfy will only air 5 episodes.

NXT on Syfy schedule
Tuesday, September 7th at 10pm (season premiere)
Tuesday, September 14th at 10pm
Tuesday, September 21st at 10pm
Tuesday, September 28th at 11pm (one hour time shift)
Friday, October 1st at 7pm (last episode on Syfy)

Additionally, Matt Striker announced that the first elimination of season three will take place in four weeks time (either Sept. 28th or Oct. 1st).

As for the identity of new Rookie Diva, Kaitlyn, who replaces Aloisia as Vickie Guerrero’s rookie, she is Ricki Vaughn in FCW. Kaitlyn reported to WWE developmental on July 12th meaning she has about 6-7 weeks of experience. It’ll be interesting to see how she’s used in matches considering she has so little in-ring experience.

  1. From what I’ve seen and heard, Kaitlyn has had no matches on the road or on television, meaning so far her only knowledge of wrestling is at the FCW School (not television show) here’s hoping she’s a fast learner. I don’t know why but she reminds me of Velvet Sky, maybe it’s the hair?

I’d have loved to have seen Savannah back and you’d think with her skills and them being in dire need of a replacement, they might have excused a ‘fluffed line’. I may be wrong, but it looks like now Kaitlyn’s here, Maxine might not be first to go afterall.

  2. I thought Kaitlyn was good. If her fail was planned so Vickie could play the show-biz mom card, then it was great. I like her.

  3. Naomi and AJ are light years ahead of the other divas rookies

  4. I want to see more vickie so i hope she sticks around.

  5. I wonder if the WWE found a new home for NXT, and will announce it later on

  6. WWE has launched a new NXTVOD pop-out channel on WWE.com and I can no longer view the videos as I’m not from the states so, I guess that WWE will move NXT to WWE.com, with the chance of a repeat on Friday before SD!.
