I enjoyed The Show 2nite Despite the Mistake by a Pro we wont name any names here cuz we all kno….I loved how Striker said that Aksana wants to be Divas Champion does she not know that the titles are being UNIFIED….

Can Naomi trade pros? I don’t know if I can stand to see Kelly Kelly continually botching all over any progress she makes with the fans. And is it too late to get Kelly a pro and sneak her into the season?

I really would love A.J to win but it looks like Naomi has it in the bag, and that bulldog into the sunset flip by Naomi was sick.
AJ’s a little to “jumpy” for my taste and a little to force on the bubly persona department. I actually like Kaitlyn, there’s something likeable about her. I thought her promo was decent. She was basically saying that she can be Disney but can pull a 4chan if need be.
Naomi is just pure gold. Love her chemistry with Alicia. Oh wait. What’s that excuse again i heard from some Melina fans here? That she moves too fast for Alicia. Well that fast paced match with Naomi should prove those people wrong.
Caitlyn surprised the hell out of me, I actually dig her, she’s like the girl next door, the real girl next door not the overly perfect and sweet one that WWE tends to create. I knew Naomi would win from the start, I like A.J. but Naomi is better in my oppinion. And last but not least Jamie’s body figure scares me, She looks like a skeleton with muscles and Breast implants.
I don’t get where they’re going with Caitlyn. Her promo, onscreen personality -mannerisms and the like, and her dancing were way more the cute, nerdy girl than AJ and that’s supposed to be AJ’s schtick. I do think she should go first though, just due to lack of experience next to everyone else who for the most part have been doing this for a year+. With Vickie as her pro, though, I could see her surviving for quite awhile.

Exactly! Caitlyn comes across as much more genuine in the dorky girl next door role than AJ. It’s strange and unexpected.

One more ADD post…I agree completely on Jamie as well. I don’t see the “wow, she’s so hot!” there either. She’s all muscle and bone and silicone. It’s horrifying and grotesque.
Kaiitlyn is hot as HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
I wish AJ wouldn’t act all Mickie-ish. Too fakey. Other than that, she looked good. Nice dance with The Chimel. Thought she won and got more pop than Naomi.
I wish Aksana wouldn’t mix foreign language into her promo. Leave it for Maryse. And her botching makes AJ look bad.
Naomi really impressed. Not just the cheesy competitions. But her promos and in-ring really stood out from the rest. It’s way early and I’m still rooting for AJ, but Naomi is the one to beat right now.
I like what they did with Vickie and replacement Caitlin. Turned a negative into a positive and I don’t mind Aloisia not there (saves the embarrassment in failing every challenge too). Caitlin has some THICK legs and arms. Other than the first promo, she did a pretty well acting job.
Jamie’s promos sounded too rehearsed, which I think Cole pointed out. And she’s scary built in a thin frame, a contrast from Beth and Chyna.
Maxine. meh.
Is it bad that I cringed every time AJ talked into the microphone, or showed any emotion or that matter?
Based solely off tonight, I bet Maxine will be the first to go…her promo was actually decent, but her wrestling needs improvement and her wrestling attire was hideous…also her gimmick is suppose to be a rich/spoiled type but I wasn’t buying it…I also prefer her with the curly hair, she looked slightly like the Oct-o-mom tonight
I actually liked Aksana’s promo, there was something very likable and cute about it…just like Maxine, she needs to work on her in-ring stuff as well…her strikes were very weak…but I’m interesting in her pairing with Goldust
Jamie really did not stand out to me at all, and I agree that there’s something about her physique that is weird
There is something about Caitlyn that I really like, like she is genuinely a girl-next-door type of person…I also am interesting in seeing how her pairing with Vickie develops in the next few weeks
I love AJ’s spunk and really want to see her wrestle some of the pros
Naomi was definitely the MVP of the night…winning both challenges and her first NXT match puts her in a great position…the crowd absolutely loved her tonight…and her ring work was pretty good, there is something explosive about her wrestling style
As I wrote else where I thought the show was okay but tonight NXT was the Naomi show. Home girl did everything right and impressed the crowd. As for her match i’m not so sure it was K2 that messed up. I think the ref missed something and ended the match early.
Kaitlyn- I was surprised by how much I liked her! I do really like the name Ricki Vaughn better though. I think you’re totally right about there being Kaitlyn-mania, my friends and I were totally marking for her, I think she’s hysterical and right now she probably has my vote just because I really want to see her last longer.
Jamie- I feel like she’s in trouble but I really want her to last longer too. I think she’s so generic and stiff that it’s actually a character in itself. Like she’s the total stereotype body-shaper role model rehearsed wannabe. And I think it’s great for some reason. She totally has the body to learn pretty much anything she wants if she trains hard enough. I feel like she really wants this and is going to work hard so I’d like to see her stick around a bit.
Aksana- Love her but she wasn’t really that great tonight, especially in the match. I could not stop laughing during her promo and her pronunciation of WWE.
AJ- I like her but she seemed really generic face to me tonight. Although she was pretty goofy so that made up for it. The botch with Aksana at the end was bad though, I don’t even know who’s fault that was but gosh it was ugly.
Naomi- Love her, great charisma, she’s a star.
Maxine- I really thought I was going to enjoy her character but I just didn’t…at all. I would like to see her go first.
I’m predicting that Caitlyn will be the Darkhorse of the competition. I was honestly expecting her to be horrible but now I’m voting for her to see how well she does with Vickie.
I think Alicia and Kelly screwed up the finish, it looked like Alicia was going to break up the pin but Kelly got to her before she could do anything. It was just like the tag match with Miz & Morrison vs Hardy & Henry, one of them missed the mark so the ref kept counting.

nope. personally, i thought like she was trying too hard to be all peppy and cute. it didn’t work too well, especially as a minute later she was gyrating all over that dude. came across as too fake for me.
on the everybody hating kelly being naomi’s pro thing.. okay, we know she has a hard time wrestling, but if it wasn’t for her, naomi wouldn’t be geting the fanbase she was getting tonight.
The show was a lot better than I thought it was going to be, still not as smooth as I was hoping but ya know, what can you do.
Naomi is lucky to have Kelly because the girl currently gets the biggest and most consistent pops out of any of the current girls. Who cares if she can’t wreslte, her fans will watch the show and gravitate towards her rookie, which can only help. Naomi obviously doesn’t need help in the ring as she was the best looking girl tonight in every aspect of the in ring stuff, wheter it be grabbing flags or getting down. She is definitely a star in the making.
I feel bad for AJ because she was outshined tonight and she has been really overhyped by a lot of people, including me. I think that the horrible “botched that move so let’s set it up the exact same way and do it again like that never happened” hurt her because no one really knew who messed it up so both looked bad. Nice save though. I think that she will look better when she gets in there with a pro Diva or Naomi. I’m still thinking she will win and it’ll come down to her and Naomi.
Aksana is the baby of a poor man’s Trish and poor man’s Maryse. I think she is cute and I’m sure they could go for a comedy thing with her and Goldust, but her in ring stuff isn’t that great and she didn’t really stand out tonight. I could see her going far as a character though, not as a wrestler.
Jamie was so stiff and boring. That equals forgettable in the wrestling world, especially with the Divas. She is also pretty generic even with the bodybuilder physique so I don’t see her going far. Her mic skills have annoucer all over them so I think she should just stay in that type of role and maybe train behind the scenes.
Maxine also has the potential to go far as a character because she has conceited bitch written all over her. She looks like classic heel Melina and I love it. They need to own that and take advantage of that look and character because I think she could pull it off judging by her promo. Her in ring stuff tonight wasn’t great and her FCW wasn’t stellar either, but I think she could get better and possibly get over as a heel. I like her and Fox too, they mesh well together.
Kaitlyn came across pretty well and having Vickie as her pro will get her a lot of attention. I feel like though, she might get over as a face because she doesn’t seem like the type of bitchy pro Vickie wanted. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes..
All in all, not bad but not good and there is a lot of potential here.
Maxine should get Alicia to go shopping with her for ring gear. Alicia’s pinata skirt is better than whatever the hell Max was wearing. But she is an interesting character.
Naomi is awesome!
AJ seems like she will come into her own in time.
Aksana is much better on the mic than she is in the ring. But I don’t know if she can do more than the ditzy Eastern European. Eventually that schtick will wear thin. But before it does, I demand to see Aksana vs. Maryse in a Presidential debate challenge.
Kaitlyn is going be Vickie’s whipping girl… and I think I like it.
Jaime, Jaime, Jaime… I’m sure you’re a nice girl, but what are you doing here exactly? Originally I wanted Kaitlyn out, but now that I think about it, she has a point–Jaime doesn’t.
@mojodoom–I don’t think the issue is Melina moving too fast for Alicia, it’s her offense and style clash with Alicia’s, although they’ve had better matches on Smackdown. Melina has a track record of being able to get good matches out of most divas (Mickie, Trish, Beth, Michelle, Layla, Maryse [albeit short], Candice Michelle, Christy Hemme, etc.).
Alicia is solid enough in the ring, but let’s not act like she was putting on clinics with other divas… because she wasn’t.
Caitlyn was surprising a refreshing personality to me. There just something very natural and fun about her silly goof ball girl next door character. I think she’s going to be the sleeper of this competition and her interaction with Vickie is going to surprising interesting too. I think Caitlyn could unexpecting get over and could become something a lot more than what people expect of her.
Naomi night is better than alicia fox, kelly, and the bella twins combined! She should be their pro! LMAO!

I don’t know where you get that impression, but I nor anyone of the previous commenters said anything that could be interpreted as such.

Statement like that can easily be seen as markish and frankly preposterous. You’re making it sound like she was the key to the passable to great matches she have had with those ladies. Like she extracted ‘em good matches out of those individuals. I like Melina, but wrestling wise…she’s really nothing special.
I always thought Naomi is the one worthy of the “hype”, more than AJ really. I think comming in AJ having previous training was look upon as the better of the two but even in FCW I thought Naomi stands out alot more than her. I still think AJ can win this though. She just need to tone done her cutesy/peppy shtick, it gets kinda annoying.
all Naomi night did was showed why she is FCW Davas Champion. why did’t have NXT3 while serena angela fong and a few other former FCW divas who were let go this year was still on the roster i bet those botches would never has happen
I don’t know about you but I don’t think people will like this season of NXT,considering all rookies are female(not to mention some of ‘em are still very green in term of wrestling) and they do several pointless competitions(WTF is a flag pole?Dance contest? Dx
A mixture of male and female rookies would be better though.. :(

Some of tonight was a hot mess like the botches..
@mojodoom–Too many of Melina’s detractors are using her non-clicking with Alicia as their prime reason to claim that Melina lacks chemistry with her opponents. She doesn’t lack chemistry with opponents. Alicia is an exception. However, I do suppose that saying “Melina has a track record of having good matches with opponents” is better than saying “getting good matches out of opponents”. Although I do think Michelle’s best matches have been with Melina, as have Beth’s, and Candice’s. She helped make Layla and Candice look like viable threats as well.
The point is, Melina is a damn good wrestler–she is entertaining and knows what she is doing and apparently is rather good at putting matches together. She gets a reaction from the fans with her wrestling and has earned her stripes. For people to say that she is no better than Eve or Alicia, or cannot wrestle, or lacks chemistry with her opponents on the whole is wrong.
By the by, does anyone else think AJ and Primo are going to snap once more people “steal” AJ’s limelight? NXT3 needs more heels than just Max and the forced-into-it Caitlyn.

I don’t think Melina is stinking up the ring. But I’m not overly impressed by her ring skills like some here do. I feel like all the other wrestling divas (not counting the models and Tamina) including Michelle are far more entertaining in the ring and skilled compared to her. You’d probably scream blasphemy but I would put her in the same league as Eve and Alicia. Maybe she’s slightly better because of her years of experience but not that much. It’s just my opinion.
They definitely need to turn somebody heel. Max is the only clear heel character at the moment, Caitlyn seem like an unwilling ally, there’s just something about the way they portrayed her last night. I see her clashing with Vickie soon. AJ needs to step it up. They need to do something with her but I’m not sure how a heel turn would benefit her.
Did anyone notice how scandelous Maxine’s undergarments were in that white getup? Definitely not PG
I gotta say, Caitlin’s personality makes her twice as hot she is, which puts her on a level of hotness that trumps Maryse in my oppinion.
Here are my thoughts on each Rookie:
Jamie: Nothing much to comment on other than she failed at every challenge. She is a Face and was booed by the crowd after her horrific dancing, that says it all.
AJ: I love AJ but she was very false tonight. She was far too OTT and yeah, that’s about it, she was pretty bad in the challenges too. Let’s hope she tones down her character a bit more and have a decent match.
Aksana: “I WILL ENTERTAINMENT YOU!” Awful in the ring, but better than Maxine. I think her character is awesome and I love her gimmick and teaming with one of my favourite superstars, Goldust. Funny things to come from her I’m sure.
Naomi: She was awesome and proved all the doubters wrong about her being too green. She was the only person not to blame for the crappy end to her match and she did well in everything.
Maxine: Horrible character, she looks hideous and her ring work was shocking. I hope she is eliminated first.
Kaitlyn: Very, very suprising in terms of character, I think her teaming with Vickie has ALOT of potential. Let’s hope she’s better than Maxine and Aksana in the ring!
If this is a taste of what the current season of NXT will offer, IMO, this will be mirthful (although extremely corny at times) endeavor. I cheered, I guffawed until I teared up, I had a great time. Even Michael “Lederhosen” Cole had me ROTFL!

IMO, Kelly Kelly & Naomi vs. Alicia & Maxine was a (MUCH) better match than Goldust & Aksana vs. Primo & AJ, with or without the botch. As previously mentioned, some of the action between Alicia and K2 *after* they rolled off the mat contained a bit of reality. Kelly and especially Alicia looked awfully pissed at each other, and Kelly retreated after Alicia pushed her face. I watched the ending a couple of times and I think what happened was supposed to happen, but at the wrong time. Perhaps that’s what caused the confusion at the end of the match. Props to Maxine and Naomi for soldiering on. If there was some real tension, I hope Alicia and K2 hug and make-up…AND I hope the WWE seizes the opportunity to make those two feud. Instant storyline, people!
The dance segment was horrendous, but everything else that followed was decent. We all know Naomi is the one to beat while it was intentional to pair her with K2 because of the reaction she gets, i disagree with those who say Naomi got the response she did because of K2, I feel she’d have the crowd’s interest no matter what Pro she was paired with, she’s a natural. Maxine like Naomi, got over with good mic work, but something seems off about her, She lacks consistency. The bitchy diva promo was spot on, but in the ring she didn’t display any of that intensity or confidence. AJ, AJ, AJ i really wanna like her but as many have stated she needs to tone down the volume and not be uber peppy, in your face and hyper, either that or slowly turn heel. She reminds me of a chihuahua, initially their hyper active nature is fun and refreshing, but after 10 minutes you feel like kicking them across the room. Kaitlyn (Jennifer Thomas) is seriously underestimated and that could work in her favor, she’s got tons of potential and being a goofball, with such a seriously stacked body is an intriguing combo, As much as i like Naomi, i’m pretty sure much of my votes will go to Kaitlyn. SB: I find it very hypocritical that WWE would replace Aloisa with her, when Jennifer Thomas herself has some less than wholesome photos on the net, I’m just sayin’. Since Jamie appears to be so stiff, why not play that up, turn her into a cold calculating type, a face who’s all business and finds herself out of place being social and friendly. Similar to Lance Storm’s final years in WWE, when they decided that his character needed to have fun and not be so serious, just reverse it for Jamie and i think the fans will respond to her. Aksana, jury is still out on her as far as i’m concerned. I’m so waiting for Kaitlyn to snap, stand up for herself and slap the taste out of Vickie’s mouth, What a cool moment that would be.
I can see I was right in thinking that there were going to be ringwork problems. It remains to be seen whether they make a push to put on better matches, or at least cover them up in an entertaining way. Though Vickie earned her paycheck with her heat, upstaging and the usual tantrums. Even with that, I don’t see them having enough gadgets, planning and clean execution to succeed here.
NXT3 Overall- Lame duck. Won’t even finish on Sci-Fi and that really tarnishes the brand. The opening was a slow motion crash, though the “reality” of seeing them face boos and adapt was cool (time honored tradition! Ask Trish, it happened). That campy X factor may be a saving grace. Also, Joey Styles will enter the picture soon. If my info is good, he may be trashing this thing to help set up a last-ditch effort at a new third brand and timeslot.
AJ – The favorite acted like it. Came off as a ham. The cool girl next door isn’t competing to emote with characters meant to be over the top; we should be lured to a girl like this. She can work, though. I was thrilled to see Michael Cole jump off her bandwagon so I can stay in my seat without yacking.
Jamie Keyes – They played the Trish card! Who called it? Comes off fairly well and is a tough, athletic from childhood type. Becoming a Trish is just as much about surviving the grind and growing as a performer as about being hawt.
Aksana – See: ‘Camp Factor’. They need to utilize Goldust since they’re not doing so anyway, this is basically the third brand and he actually knows how to “get weird,” as Jack Swagger would say. Get more creative. Actually, get creative at all.
Maxine – Someone said Octomom? I admit, I laughed. OK, not incredibly sure what to think here so far, they seem to be confused with what they’re putting out there. She has a certain toughness though (2nd in the gauntlet); there’s something there, I just don’t know what if not a GM assistant type and the Miss Tessmacher thing is already incredibly lame. I have a strong gut feeling this one will be around a long time. I trust my instincts; my brain just hasn’t caught up on this one yet.
Naomi – What a surprise! Nice athlete, though the mic sounded like she was trying to be likeable when she may have more inner heel. She stole the show so much, JR was putting her over from Twitter. Friends and I laughed at the “Booty Bump” where she catches air, I knew it was likely and it was funny. Attempting to name it was even better, I’ll let you use your imagination …
Caitlyn – I was initially down on her, like many, but for how new she is, she seemed pretty game to go for it. I don’t envy her though as ring experience is something you can’t cram for. As my GF said, “I think she could get over with Vickie, having the crowd feel sorry for her (Caitlyn).” If she’s right and that works, I smell a Ziggler tie-in.
@Prescott WGN Network is going to pick up the rest of NXT3 if ScyFy channel drops the show i glad people are giving NXT3 a chance unlike others who rather trash the show after just one week maybe after 3 weeks i can understand
Obviously Naomi and AJ were the only great ‘Rookie’ wrestlers. Don’t get me started on the Dance off…. Ridiculous. I’m glad Naomi had a clean sweep, though.
The ref. did what he was supposed to by counting 3 when Naomi pinned Maxine- Maxine didn’t kick out in time, and she made the end look horrible. I didn’t like Maxine from when she was Livianna to now. I would rather have her out first and keep Aksana…
Speaking of Aksana- her botching AJ’s move (again at the end of the match) just ruined the match, One of the first rules of wrestling, when you botch a spot, never go right back into it… It looks REHEARSED.
It amazes me that allegedly Aloisia is too green- look at Maxine, Aksana, and Caitlin (who I don’t like either). I was SO excited for NXT3…. but now I’m just excited to see Naomi and AJ in the finals (which will probably be an online web show after Oct. 1st)
I guess my hopes that WWE management was going try to truly rebuild back to a respectful platform went out the window last and that’s a shame. The dance contest was a train wreck especially with Michael Cole, Tony the ring announcer (I’m even going to try to spell his last name) and Josh Matthews involved in the thing. The flag was somewhat better but not by that much. I think all six girls have the potential to be brought up to the main roster but a few of them need some more work though.
Naomi, the girl is good in the ring and has a great personality which helps her over with the fans. Her match against Alicia Fox and Maxine was good and Naomi showed quite a few good moves in the ring. I didn’t include Kelly as she brings nothing into the ring. Yes, I know that I’m in the minority as a Kelly hater but I’m not the only one to say Kelly sucks in the ring. Anyway back the more important person as last night’s star was Naomi.
AJ, AJ’s main really didn’t show much what this girl can ready to in the ring. It’s nice to see some things don’t change as Michael Cole is now going use AJ as his whipping girl. (Side not; you know how you can tell when Michael Cole ready sucks? When Michael Cole has a drinking game names after him.) Someone said on here that AJ’s energy sort of reminded them of Mickie James. Being a big Mickie James fan, I can see it too. However I think AJ has her own personality that is different from Mickie’s. I think AJ will be in the finals for such.
Jamie Keyes, wow quite few people already putting Jamie down and that’s a shame. I think Jamie had better composure on the mic than the other girls and her promo was not bad. Was her promo the greatest, no but it wasn’t that bad either. I just wish people would at least wit to see what Jamie can do in the ring. I’m behind Jamie has she is one the nicest Divas you could ever meet and she truly cares about the WWE fans.
Aksana, girls’ ring skills need some work but she’s ok on the mic. The best thing that has going for her on NXT 3 is her Pro Goldust. You can see the chemistry that they have which I think will help get her over with the fans. Man, I thought Goldust was going to have multiple orgasms during the introductions of the Rookies. The pairing of Goldust and Aksana is going to be very entertaining for sure.
Maxine, she was not bad in the ring and had great chemistry in Alicia. Maxine’s promo was not bad either. I’m just not such what exactly her character is supposed to be. Maxine has the makings to be great heel but there’s something missing to her that I can’t put my finger on.
Caitlyn, I can’t really make a solid judgment about her. The girl is hot no doubt about that. I just not think that the “Maria Dizzy” gimmick is the best thing for Caitlyn. From what I understand, Caitlyn has only been at FCW for about 6 weeks. Does anybody know if Caitlyn has prior wrestling experience? Yes, I think Vicki Guerrero will be a great benefit to Caitlyn. I just hope that she’s not a train wreck in the ring
As it stands now, I’m still picking Jamie Keyes to win but my backup choice to win is AJ Lee. I hope the show will get better down the road. I wish that they would use Ashley as the only host and get rid of Striker. Then get rid of Cole and let Todd Grisham announce. I’ll be watching the whole season no matter how bad the stupid challenges are.
I’ve only seen what’s been posted here, but from that, I like AJ’s energy and ring persona.
Just seen the episode of NXT – It was great.
Naomi – was excellent, really athletic
Aksana -I think she’s so funny, she and Goldust are perfect
AJ – excellent, really good.
Caitlin – To early to judge.
Maxine – I can see her being involved in the Teddy Maryse storyline.
Jenni- Like her, although she seems like a generic blond and I have a feeling she is going to be the “Trish” star.
