After making a surprise return at SHIMMER this past weekend, now former WWE Diva, Serena Deeb, spoke exclusively to Diva Dirt in a video interview on Sunday night. The former Straight Edge Diva returned to the ring for the first time in Berwyn, Illinois following her release from WWE last month, and we were lucky enough to be on hand for all the action! We also snagged Serena’s first post-WWE interview. Watch below:
Clearly, Serena is in high spirits despite her release and was extremely happy to be back at SHIMMER and doing what she does best, as you can see in the interview. It’s great to have you back, Serena!

Your home should be in smackdown as women’s champion! It’s really awesome how you can see her passion for the wrestling business! Maybe the WWE will hire her back, I surely hope so. They did it with Michelle too right?
Glad to see that she’s in high spirits, and she’s certainly pumping up a good thing. It’s just a shame that she’s gone from the E; I really believed they had a good thing going with her involvement in the SES. Maybe she’ll get it all together and be given another run there.
Remember those in-ring segments where Punk would just hand her the mic and you would hear a real, loud nat-sound Vickie heel pop before she even spoke? Her mysteriousness and non-speaking eventually became a weapon in itself, as long as she kept her statement to about a sentence or maybe two, it worked. She had an electric contrast with CM Punk, a simmering intensity that made him feel like a cause, plus she could work whenever they felt like branching it out. It felt like the minute after Triple H called her Britney Spears, her over was on an upward track.
Great interview. She seems a little drunk maybe. Anyways, I love her and I hope for the best in her future. Also she said Shimmer is one of her homes in wrestling. I assume the other is the WWE.
omg, @ecwroh, i was thinking the same thing, about the drunk haha, i just didnt want to say anything, because would get my head eat off me, lol, but she seems kinda of drunk, but i do hope she comes back to WWE down the road,

paul…did we meet you outside the arena the second night? I for one can vouch for everyone’s sobriety, as I too was sober. all night.
It’s an afterparty, of course she’s going to drink. She handles alcohol pretty well, though.
Anyway, I love her passion for wrestling. Some people who get released kind of fade away for a while or venture out to other things, but Serena made no effort to taking a break and she certainly proved what WWE missed out on.

^ apparently beth has been dating cm punk and she wasn’t happy with him working so close with serena. if that’s true.. ugh. cm sure is working his way through the world of women wrestlers.
anyway, it’s nice to see her so happy. it was great of shimmer to welcome her back.
she has extremely short hair but damn she’s so beautiful.. and she has so much positivity in the interview.. its radiating.. welcome back to shimmer serena , welcome back to the place where you are appreciated.. :)
Love how she considers Shimmer to be no step down from the WWE (which it certainly is not). I was there listening to her speak and she spoke from the heart. Nothing fake here, she’s humble, sweet and very down to earth. No matter where she goes or what she does now, Serena Deeb will continue to make an impact. <3

and I dont even know what alcohol looks like. I doubt Serena does too.

She’s so nice and sweet. She’s also probably tired after wrestling multiple matches in a day and emotional after doing it in front of fans who really truly appreciate what she does. Alcohol not required.
If you aren’t even old enough to get into a bar, you should maybe pick something else to comment on.

yeah, the them two dating stories have been around for the last four or five months, and for it to still be continuing and how he kept talking about her in a german interview, says to me they are. now, whether beth got serena fired? that’s another thing entirely.
