Former WWE wrestler, Luna Vachon’s death has been deemed the result of an accidental overdose, reports TMZ.
Vachon passed away after an overdose of painkillers and anti-anxiety medication according to an official report from the District Six Medical Examiner’s Office in Florida.
Luna had been living with her mother at the time, who discovered the body back in August.
May Luna finally rest in peace.

It is just sad how all these wrestlers dying have to be drug related which leads me to wonder what goes on backstage
I’ve been YouTubing her matches lately and her death hit me harder. May she always be remebered for her hardwork, passion and dedication. RIP Luna.
Excuse my language but GODDAMN IT! How many people have died by accidental overdose? I mean there have been so many and not just related to the wrestling world. Greg Giraldo & Heath Ledger if i am correct died due to accidental overdose. We are losing too many great, talented people. It is a f**king travesty.
@ Ecwhron – I was thinking the same thing. I believe Anna Nicole, Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy and Test(Andrew Martin died of similiar causes. They forget how sensitive the body really is in the inside, pills are tiny but they can be deadly in the wrong hands. May they all(Luna as well) rest in peace, be with God.
I love you so much, Luna. You truly made it okay to be different. Your hardwork and passion for wrestling will forever be remembered and appreciated. You had a heart of gold that touched so many.

@TommyStarstruck – That’s why I said related. She was on medication and suffered a cardiac arrest. The medication was a contributing factor that led to her untimely death.

Anyway, it’s a shame Luna never held the women’s title. She could have easily replaced Kat, Debra, or “Harvina” as a credible champion. I wanted to see her go one on one with Jacqueline atlast once.

too many people die from “accidental overdose” if u take more then what ur meant too of course this is gonna happen…r.i.p luna was meant to be champ but sable didnt want to drop the title to her,debra said so in an net interview so they tricked sable & gave the title to debra for one month…

In everyone eyes and mind who is Luna Vachon Fan that you know and I know that she is The Women’s champion even though she has never held the title. Luna has made it okay to be different,so thank you Luna for being you.Sadly enough that WWE has never let Luna return for one more match before she has retired from the sport of wrestling.
