Last night’s episode of TNA Reaction saw a great segment focusing on the feud between Mickie James and Tara, as well as taking us behind the scenes of that huge Knockouts brawl that opened the show.
The storyline is that Tara felt that Mickie had her released from her WWE contract.

Thoughts: Thoroughly enjoyed this. This segment really gave the back-story needed to make this storyline work and pretty much sold the Turning Point match to me. It’s great that TNA has this show to really tell their stories on as it gives the Knockouts’ feuds that much more meaning.

Great that TNA is trying to find some history behind those two women, its not just stupid championbelt or jealousy or DIVA vs KNOCKOUT thing again. But then, I am not TOO HAPPY that TNA has to use WWE things to promote their storyline…I dont even know if they can do it…
I like that TNA is using WWE’s name cause it shows some reality…
Mickie and Tara said they never liked each other… but… I remember seeing both of them teaming up… middle of 2006… while Mickie was heel.. then suddenly… Mickie was face and both started feuding again…
I wish WWE would have thought of this idea.. the whole “REACTION” thing…
I am happy that TNA mentions WWE. Like others have said, it shows some reality. Us wrestling fans know that there are a lot of companies out there. Yet the WWE likes to pretend that they are the only one. TNA does not do that & I respect them for it.
Wow, i just watched Reaction, and i found Tara very very um, i cant think of the word lol, but i didnt like how she kept mentioning WWE, and how Mickie was a diva, and she pretty much said divas werent wrestlers, which is very very untrue, She is just hurting herself everytime she trys to degrade the WWE, dont burn your bridges with the biggest wrestling company in history cause, we all no you were wanting to get back in ther in June, and now your not a diva type, wow

I think because WWE is so big and a large portion of their audience isn’t even aware of TNA, it’s best for them to avoid mentioning TNA at all. While 100% of TNA’s audience on the other hand is fully aware of the WWE so at the end of the day, mentioning the big ‘E won’t hurt them at all – in fact, it’ll probably make them look even more so impressive considering that they’ve signed former WWE stars.
I like ReAction, but TNA needs to stop using every chance to bash WWE. Dixie Carter is so stupid, she’s desperate for Vince McMahon acknowledge them.
I know it’s scripted, but it makes no sense that Mickie tried to get Tara/Victoria released from WWE. When Victoria left in January 2009, both ladies were on opposing brands! Mickie’s main feud in 2008 was with Beth Phoenix. I’m fine with continuity, but do it in a better way than just bashing WWE and making a completely unrealistic storyline from it.

Oh and nice to see older footage from her Alexis Laree days, thereby making it seem more like a TNA comeback.
Im not defending wwe or anything but tna stop usng wwe in your story lines whatever and tara reffering to the divas as fake is not true some are good wrestlers (ect. Melina,Natalya,Gail Kim,Beth Pheonix)but there are some bad divas(ect The Bellas,Kelly Kelly) sooooo wwe isnt all bad and btw great fued

I’m happy that TNA mentioned the history between Mickie and Tara from WWE, but it isn’t really belivable is it? correct me if i’m wrong but Tara’s last few months with the WWE had consisted around Michelle McCool, Cherry and Kelly not Mickie? I’m really glad witht he effort TNA has braught with this feud, it’s done really well so far because it’s involved some of the other Knockouts. Madison, Angelina, Velvet and Sarita could start getting bigger parts within this current storyline. We could see Tara, Madison, Sarita and Brooke Adams VS Mickie, Angelina, Velvet and Lacey (or Winter!!)
The Cookie segment was pretty good to, but Becky’s character is piss poor. She needs to develop on her character and make it her own – she isn’t similar with Snookie at all, she’s like the bitchy BP’s or Laycool. Nonetheless I’d love some more JWoww and Cookie!

I don’t think they hate eachother, Mickie and Tara are probably just staying in character.
I find it surprisingthat TNA would WWE despite half of their wretlers came from that company but I must say that match between Tara vs Mickie match at Turning Point sounds good.

and the match was shaky and even at some point loooked a bit confused lol but good match. I love how hard Mickie fights and works in the ring!! She has renewed her energy in wrestling! Glad Sarah won and shes back on the mainstream! YES! Anyone else think Sarah looks like Butterfly from Deathproof? U kno the Puertorican chick in the movie?? hahaha shes so hot! And love that mexican dance!

@A.A, i not really sure what you mean by your statement, lol, i dont really under stand it “actually tara is right most of the part most of the .the majority of them talentless plastics and the ones who can wrestle are pushed aside to them.” are you saying she is right, and that wwe is full of plastics lol, well not really WWE has 16 women on the roster, Gail Kim, Melina, Michlle Mccool, Beth Phoenix, Jillian, Tamina, Natalya, Layla, Alici Fox, all are very very good wrestlers and are not plastic, and i wouldnt even but the Nikki and brie bellas, or eve torres, or kelly kelly or tiffany plastics, because they can put on a very good match when they want to, so the all downfall divas WWE has is Maryse who they put in a valet roll, and Rosa
I absolutely LOVE what this feud is shaping up to be! It’s about something real and something that we as fans can really connect to and appreciate. I can’t wait to see what kind of show these women will put on at the PPV. I might actually have to buy a TNA PPV for the first time ever!
I agree, I think they are just mentioning WWE in this instance to add some reality to the whole situation between the two ladies…. Which it does.

I think the Wwe audience is aware of TNA. That BOOM that Mickie James got from fans surely wasn’t from being in TNA first.

i dont no what to think 2 things i think this fued is just building up to mickie winning the title because imo why did tara win at bound for glory jst to give it away to a person who isnt in a fued!! i think angelina should of just kept the belt because then it would come across as katie lea wanting the title!
also i think reaction is where the wrestler be themselves and tara is a nice woman genuine which gets me thinking is angelina a bitch!
