WWE NXT Pro, Goldust wrote on his Twitter page earlier today about the Rookie Divas on the current season of NXT, noting that he felt eliminated and released Rookie, Jamie Keyes had a ‘bad attitude’.
Goldust spoke about each of the five remaining Rookies initially, but when questioned by another Twitter user about Jamie, he wrote: “She’s gone and she had a bad attitude.”
He later added however, “As far as Jamie… I wish her good luck in whatever she does.”
Thoughts: Kind of a controversial comment from Goldust, though he is usually pretty candid on his Twitter page. Though I wasn’t too impressed with her on the show, I thought Jamie came across passionate.

Oh… The only thing i’ve heared about Jamie is “Jamie is so nice!”.
Jamie does seem nice.. don’t know how Goldust could say she has a bad attitude….
Welp. What we see on TV and how they are off of it are two different things. :/
Maybe she was a . . .*gasps* DIVA
Should have gave her a snickers bar.
Well i’ve never met her but Im sure Goldust would know better than us.
“Well i’ve never met her but Im sure Goldust would know better than us.”
Agreed.
@RangerDeon lol that was funny
I don’t think Goldust was lying, but it’s kinda head-scratching to me, as from fans, other FCW employees, and I think even Joey Styles and Howard Finkel, she did come across as a nice person. I talk to her all the time via email and Facebook, and she doesn’t come across as a bad person. Maybe her attitude came at Goldust the wrong way. Too forceful, perhaps? I don’t know. :-/
you hear stories that people in the past having a “bad attitude” just because they were either shy, quite,or kept to themselves backstage but she may have a bad attitude lol
Yup plenty of people who are quiet get labeled as fake and whatnot; when they’re really just shy.
I’m shy too sometimes and I’ve gotten it plenty of times, people would always tell me..when I first saw you, I thought you were an @sshole..and then they realize it wasn’t like that at all lol!
Well she’s gone now and she isn’t a loss to WWE, it is actually good news to hear WWE fire a model.
Well whether or not it’s true, if you do something to turn off the veterans, then there must be something wrong with you. Think about it, if she was so nice why did they future endeavour her instead of just sending her back to FCW?
bad attitude or not, i think it’s disheartening, as a fan of his, that goldust keeps on taking pops at others on his twitter.
I’m having a hard time believing this one. Speaking for myself, I have had a great experience with Jamie Keyes at a house show back in July. I had been trying to take a picture of Jamie through out the first part of the night and couldn’t get a good picture as Jamie had her back toward the ring side section I was sitting in. Right as they were going to intermission, I tried to get another picture of Jamie as she was walking around the ring. Jamie walked pass me as I was trying to take the picture. Jamie saw that I was trying to take a picture of her and turn around pose for me to the picture that I had been trying to take. Jamie didn’t have to stop, she could have just wave and kept going but she didn’t. I honestly don’t think that a Diva like Michelle McCool would have done that. If Jamie has a bad attitude like Goldust says then Jamie would have just blown me off and kept going. If a WWE Superstar or Diva have a bad attitude then they can’t hide it 24/7, because of the internet fans will know about it.
I agree with Kaledrina. I don’t like how wrestlers go on their accounts and diss others. It’s not cute at all.
” Think about it, if she was so nice why did they future endeavour her instead of just sending her back to FCW? ”
Maybe she turned down a date or something? I hate to go there, but life is life and it’s not like stuff can’t happen in wrestling.
OHMAGAWD becuz she wouldn’t sleep wit him, she been done has a “bad attitude”???
“Thoughts: Kind of a controversial comment from Goldust, though he is usually pretty candid on his Twitter page. Though I wasn’t too impressed with her on the show, I thought Jamie came across passionate.”
Being passionate doesn’t mean you have a good attitude. Besides, according to Paul London a lot of wrestlers are hypocritical and have the attitude “oh…I love my fans” when in fact they despise them. Of course they will all act nice…they are paid to do so. So just because Jamie is nice to the fans, that doesn’t mean that’s her true self. Goldust probably knows more than us anyway.
I don’t know about her one way or the other, but yeah, I don’t like it when people do stuff like this. Goldust should know better.
And whilst I get what you’re saying, Ana_Nattie_Rules, I don’t think Paul London comes across as the best judge on character, based on what we’ve seen of him on shoots and stuff. ‘Bitter’ seems like an understatement, and this is coming from someone who used to be a rather big fan.
As a fan who was rooting for Jamie, I can say this:
I could see where Jamie could be viewed as having a bad attitude. She was a very passionate feminist and woman and wanted to succeed as much as Trish Stratus did (you could tell by her ‘inspiration video’ on NXT).
Goldust is old school in the world of wrestling and I’m sure he, like Flair (see my recent post in TNA talk) may not respond well to women who want success without flaunting their bodies. Sure, Jamie had the body to flaunt, but she was clearly (kayfabe or not) a very strong, driven woman. That may not have set well in the WWE. Let’s analyze how it actually has gone:
Trish Stratus – left WWE and her world boomed (new business, new show, hosting gigs, movies, etc.) None of which could have been done without WWE taking a slice of the pie so to speak – so she’s not anylonger an active competitor.
Lita – she was berated and had other interests (music) so she left.
Maria – she wanted to do a solo project as a result, she was “future endeavors…”
Those are three examples. But you look at the men and they have way more privelege, examples, Undertaker at UFC, Chris Jericho and Fozzy, etc. So maybe her “bad attitude” was her self-worth and feminism and it may have rubbed people the wrong way because she was a rookie.
Maybe she was very vocal about wanting to wrestle and learn how to wrestle, rather than doing stupid “competitions” on NXT. There’s a lot that could be to blame here, so I don’t think the “Goldust knows better than us” line is accurate because he’s one person with one opinion.
That’s my theory anyway.
^ Sound argument.
@ Bobby James – Very True. Goldust is cool, but he needs to learn when to shut up.
I don’t think it’s a big deal for him to say it. Fans online say things a lot more harsh than that all the time, plus Goldust actually worked with her.
^ but fans are just that: fans. with goldust it’s a case of professionalism.. and, well, the last thing he’s doing is being a pro.
Even though she may seem nice those are the ones that you have to watch out for…
“^ but fans are just that: fans. with goldust it’s a case of professionalism.. and, well, the last thing he’s doing is being a pro.”
I don’t see how it’s unprofessional, though. With his experience and being directly involved in NXT, he should be the toughest critic.
@ ChrisP – it’s unprofessional because Goldust is not senior management or management period. So he should not take liberties at the expense of other performers because he’s in the middle of a push.
In addition, Goldust, I’m sure has been cynical and perhaps also had a bad attitude at times. You can’t tell me he’s not bitter because he’s no WWE Champion while new, younger, less-experienced wrestlers are. You can’t tell me Goldust was always positive when he was being used a jobber on ECW or RAW.
The point is that Goldust was in no position to speak ill of someone who was simply trying to succeed in the WWE. She was a rookie, he is a “pro” – what he did was not indicative of “pro” behavior – it kind of reminded me of Matt Hardy behavior.
Love the random Goldust bashing here. Yep the guy who plays a sexually ambigeous character is an old school fuddy duddy.
All Goldust did as was use the established code words for someone who doesnt take direction or advice well.
Goldust has been in the business for most of his adult life he knows want qualities wrestlers need to have. To compare a polite professional evaluation of a performer is not in the same universe as a Matt Hardy youtube rant.
Some people need to come down to the real world.
I exist in the real world. In a professional atmosphere of any kind, you simply do not publicly make negative comments about an individual/colleague, especially on a twitter page. I don’t dislike Goldust, in fact, I’m quite fond of his current push with Aksana. All I’m saying is that his comment was in poor taste (as were Matt Hardy’s YouTube rants, hence the comparison. And they are similar, just to different degrees). He shouldn’t have said it and that’s that.
What if the direction she wasn’t taking well was direction to parade around scantly clad for stupid NXT competitions rather than wrestling? The girl wanted to be a wrestler (like Naomi) – not a hamburger helper hand with bad jokes (Naomi). Some of those girls are too good in the ring to be in costume contests, etc. They’re there to wrestle (but we see where that goes with dance-offs, costumes, trash talk, etc.). What’s worse is that it happens to all the Divas, rookies or not. My thought is that if WWE wouldn’t sanction stupid contests (bra & panties, talent contests, swimsuit specials, etc.) for Randy Orton, John Cena, etc. then they shouldn’t do it to the Divas.
Let’s by cynical here for a moment, I’m sure some women would love watching a “Speedo Showdown” between Randy Orton and John Cena for the WWE Championship. Or maybe we could watch Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan in a gravy bowl match. Or maybe we could watch Goldust vs. Ted DiBiase in a bra and panties match. You get the point. So maybe the direction was against her morals, doesn’t warrant feedback in the form of obscurity and half-truths.
On a different note regarding Jamie, with WWE bringing back Tough Enough, I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought her back in that capacity. She is driven enough to make it on that show, so I don’t think we have seen the last of her.
She was very robotic in the ring and Goldust is a Pro NXT who at the very least in kayfabe evaluates the rookies and seems to be mentoring his rookie in real life. None of your wall of text changes that from what I read.
