WWE Hall of Famer, Mae Young will appear on Monday’s three hour retro episode of Raw, reports the Wrestling Observer.
Mae, who is now 87-years-old, last appeared at WrestleMania 26 in a backstage skit with Santino, Jillian and Melina.

didn’t she slap Michelle in the face during a backstage segment during the Piggie James angle too?
wonder who else would be there… would so love to see a FORMER vs. CURRENT divas tag match

i agree with@fanboy, that would be really, kool and a match that i have dreamed about old vs new lets get Trish, Lita, Sable,Jackie,Molly w/Mae Young Vs Michelle, Layla, Natalya, Alicia, Melia w/Vickie Guerrero
but i think the only girls that will return are Lita, and Mae, Candice(who is rumored) and Sunny, since she is always lookin for a spot back in WWE, Sable just had a kid and wwe prob forgot all about her since all they care about is Brock Lesnar, I think Molly appeared last year so she might and Jackie i dont know what shes up to, and I think they should bring in Wendi richter since she is a hall of famer and i old school
I imagine Joy Giovani will be there… she still very much has the Diva look.
Now that WWE is bringing TE back, I think it would be great for WWE to bring back Jackie Gayda, Nidia, Taylor etc. I would also be happy if Lita appeared again, announcing her return back to WWE.
i dont think they will go all out with the divas so im not giving my hopes up…..ive heard the candice is appearing but thats about it i think sunny will be there as she always is at specials

yeah, “special” episodes of wwe are usually devoted to having no divas or something uber-gimmicky. no hope, would love to be surprised. although it is great that they recognise mae as being a classic, i guess.

mae young is starting to get annoying as well is all those other old hags who have had their times in WWE. Can we get someone who most of us remember and care about (i.e lita, trish, molly, shawn, stone/steve. the rock, etc).

Yeah in your opinon but in my opinon she is. They have her appear for stupid reasons and espicially meaningless segments (i.e 18 diva tag team in 08). It’s time for her to rest and stop appearing for segments that are just not even funny. She can appear for a speech or so but not to maake a diva look like a fool for her.
Just keep her out of the ring please! Last time the poor women almost got killed/injured…

Exactly. There is no reason for us to see her again. The poor women can barely walk. WWE should stop calling her up. We already know who she is and she was a great wrestler back then.

Well we all know WWE and obviously they will put her in the ring as a referee or so than have her jump on Layla. We have seen it before but i would have rather perferred a small speech, it would make better sense.
@We dont know that he last appearance was backstage and after the time she got dizzy and fell over newsletters stated that that was the last we will see hear near a wrestling match.
You’r right about WWE doing something idiotic with the divas but i think that putting mae in a tag match having a good diva match without mae fighting and then have mae come in and pin at the end is a good idea because she lost her last match in the WWE and I don’t agree with that

May young is hilarious. I loved her back in the attitude era, her and moolah were so funny. As long as she doesn’t get in the ring I’m all for it. It’s just one raw, not a big deal. It not like mae is stealing Alicia Fox’s roster spot lol

Sunny and Francine(of ECW Fame) basically said Lita was stuck-up and eager to leave during “RAW’s 15th Anniversary,” in December of 2007. Sunny then said Lita looked worn out and tired from her face and then they both made fun of her. They implied Lita was having a “flow” or on her rag.
I’ve lost a lot of respect for Tammy as a person. Why does she have to talk bad about everyone? She brags about how she’s the original diva and how she’s happy Trish succeeded her(torch passing implication), ha! Yea right woman! Argghh she’s hard to like, is all I’m gonn say.

Mae hasn’t been getting in the ring for awhile now, so expect the usual comedy skit with her. I love to see her so I don’t mind.
As for Sunny, errr…well, I liked her while in WWE as a character. She was fun and entertaining. Ofcourse, she was a sexy vixen too. I just wish she wouldn’t talk bad about everyone.
