Here’s the Knockouts clip from this past Thursday’s Reaction:
Thoughts to come.
i was just about to say how unintentionally funny it is that all these backstage brawls involving mickie happen to be in catering where there isn’t any food to be found, but tara kinda said it for me lol.
I loved Madison when she asked sarita if they threw beans at eachother and hit people with cookie sheets. I almost peed my pants.
Pushing Sarita into the championship picture is honestly one of TNA bests decisions, I love how TNA has turned one storyline into 3. The brawl was epic, especially with Sarita and Winter being involved!
I always hate how Mickie and Tara are brawling backstage then they start moving around the place… the catering table is really far from the trucks and yet they manged to even go behind the truck…. I know TNA is scripted but still.. i find it annoying…
Madison is a very funny girl… I remember her shouting “You look like Pochahontas” and “Your bound for failure” when Mickie first appeared in TNA… and now she makes fun of Sarita and Mexico
“Pushing Sarita into the championship picture is honestly one of TNA bests decisions, I love how TNA has turned one storyline into 3. The brawl was epic, especially with Sarita and Winter being involved!”
what i like even more is that having 3/4s of the roster in one segment didn’t feel unnatural or fake at all. not to dog on wwe or anything, but when they have all of their women in one segment, it usually feels too contrived, like they’ve just put bunched them together to give ‘em all some screen time, ya know?
The Knockouts are always fun to watch. Madison is hilarious. I hope TNA keeps Reaction going & I hope they keep having the KOs be on Reaction. It adds more depth to the feuds & storylines that are happening in the Knoockouts Division and everything else that is going on in TNA.
^ what’s also great about reaction is that it kinda fills in the gaps in the booking. like how they showed madison/sarita teaming up before and how they’re against eachother now.. back when that tag match first aired, it did seem a bit random (i think there were even some comments fon dd rom people saying it should’ve been tara, not sarita) so reaction, if anything, has given the feud some more depth.
“You just headbutted my boyfriend so hard he burst.”
“You made me swallow my gum! That’s going to be in my digestive tract for seven years!”
“Okay, presumeably, you may have just seen a dude’s junk, and I’m very sorry for that… so is he.”
“We are Sex Bob-Omb and we are here to make you think about death and get sad and stuff.”
“TI: We have an unfinished business. I and he. SP: He and me. TI: Don’t you talk to me about grammar!”
GOD, I LOVE THIS!
These knockouts stuffs are awesome! Lol! This is what I call entertainment. Thanks knockouts!
I Still say once Mickie came back the KO division was brought back as well and that Mickie is behind Sarita’s push.
Oh also great brawl Mickie stole that segment for me. Her and Tara always put 100% into killing each other LOL.
Madison top heel in the KO division.
I love Sarita, don’t get me wrong, but I hate her as a heel. It limits her moveset for one, she doesn’t really have the mic skills to carry the persona they want her to have, and they have her using heel tactics all the time, which she REALLY doesn’t need to be doing. She is a great wrestler all on her own, and if they are going to put her over someone, they should just put her over. Not cheat to win.
Honestly, just on mic skills alone Madison is perfect for the spot she is in. Not to mention she’s a pretty good wrestler!
TNA needs new babyfaces. I’m already bored with Mickie.
@Edazon go figure that your bored with Mickie. Since coming in to TNA she help turn it around but its your opinion so i will respect that.
What i am enjoying about this division the most, is that every girl has a connection to each other. There is no ‘we are babyfaces, so we are automatically friends”. As a fan you know who doesn’t like who, and who does like who. TNA has a smaller division now and that is for the better.
WWE should refer back to a smaller group of girls in order for it to get back on track like the KOs are doing. WWE does better with the women when they have a lower amount with them. Remember when SD had LayCool, Mickie, Beth, Maria…you could tell the connection of the divas and their characters. That is what TNA is doing and i am enjoying it. If only TNA, could figure out something to do with those KO Tag Titles
Thre was another part of reaction later in the show and Mickie talks about how it started and what she think of Madison.
@BC757 i’m surprised they haven’t pushed the reformed angelina and velvet for the tag titles yet.. afterall, i’ve always got the feeling those belts were made for them. maybe once the winter story concludes?? but yeah, the division does seem to have picked up now it’s smaller and i too love the intricacies of how not every heel or face has to be friends with other heels or faces.
-Kaledrina, i think they are trying to separate Velvet and Love as two separate stars. They mention that Velvet wants to separate herself and Angelina has Winter. Winter even said she is with ME now.
i miss wen WWE had connection between the characters like this. There are two many girls on one brand and not enough on the other.
^ yeah, unfortunately i’ve noticed that. i do think it’s great that they’re going a bit more solo, velvet definitely needs it.. but worried how it could end up. seems too soon to split them again? so i guess i’ll just consider it a mini hiatus, which is good, as some people seem to get bored after seeing the same people wrestling together after three weeks ;)
Seriously what else can you do with the BPs for the time being?
Im beginnig to get a scent of the old Knockouts Division over the past 2 months. With the great time, matches and brwals that they had, I think it wont be long before the division has returned. But dont quote me on that. They are on the right track however.
Im liking Saritas push. While her mic skills arent bad, they arent good but her wrestling is good and she definatly has charisma. If Sarita just finds the right opponent (I dont think she has alot of chemistry with the other knockouts) then she will make a mighty fine champion. BTW, I like reaction
I love how the Knockouts Division is FINALLY getting better. And that so many of them seem to be involved (I hope they find a way to add in Taylor and Hamada without turning things into a giant cluster).
I hope they keep Madison at the top for awhile, but it honestly seems like once Mickie wins the title she’ll be feuding with Angelina and/or Sarita (which, obviously…is still good since they’re both really good in the ring). I’d just like to see Madison do a little more once in awhile too.
I think Taylor Wilde is injured….again. No idea what Bursitis is, but she says she has it in both her hips.
here are tweets from her from the last couple of days:
“My hips have been killing me for over a week. Is waddling considered to be a type of swagger?”
“Bursitis in both my hips. Sweet. I wonder if ice cream will help the healing process? :D”
What I like about this version of Sarita is that she seems to be on the tweener side of things. During her match with Madison, she was wrestling like a face but she also did that “dance” thing to mock her opponent. Kudos to the writers for choosing the Eddie Guerrero-ish approach. I’m getting into this because I think it helps her character.
I agree with majority of the sentiments here. I think that the KO division is finally getting a second chance. I just hope that they don’t ruin it again with senseless title feuds, lame title exchanges (cough* title in a box) and short title runs.
@macho madness pretty sure that bursitis is what tara had when her elbow was all big like a juicy golf ball? lord knows how it’ll look like on taylor’s hips lol o.O
Ohhhhh…gross haha. Well I’m glad to hear it’s nothing too serious.
