Tonight’s TLC pay per view will see the first ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match, but it wouldn’t be the first time in history that a WWE Diva has gone through a table, however. Oh no!
During WWE’s boom period, the ‘Attitude Era’, many a Diva found herself in that devastating spot — usually courtesy of Bubba Ray Dudley.
Let us reminisce on some good ole fashioned Diva table spots!
Before she became the 7-time Women’s Champion and built a legacy befitting of our first ever Diva Dirt Legacy Award, Trish was known as something of a harlot while with Test & Albert. She ended up on the wrong side of a certain Bubba Dudley and ended up paying for it.
Speaking of Trish! Here she is on the other side of the exchange — and this time it’s Lita on the receiving end.
More Lita you say? With the aid of Chyna, Bubba’s eyes gloss over as he puts Lita through a table.
Stacy Keibler & Torrie Wilson. Their careers will always go hand in hand. Rivals, friends, rivals, friends… this time they were rivals as the Duchess of Dudleyville watched as Bubba put Torrie through a table. But don’t worry Stacy, you’re about to get your just desserts…
Poor Stacy. She could never catch a break could she? Abused by Test, Scott Steiner and Randy Orton during her WWE career. So used to seeing her boys, the Dudleys, put others through tables — it was only a matter of time until they ran out of Divas to play with. Eventually they turned on their Duchess and those luscious long legs went flying through the air!
And now the finale…
There are few moments in WWE history more disturbing than violence against an 80 year old woman. So of course she’d get put through a table, not once but twice! Both of these scenes are pretty cringe-worthy to watch even today.

the 1 with trish n lita was the best i mean no1 expected it and it helped with the fued between the two!!! but i have a feeling that at tonights ppv som1 will b put through the table but not powerslammed through i mean like the table is stood up in the corner and lay-cool throw some1 threw it! i hope im wrong :D

You can see in the first one it was Brother Ray’s legs that broke the table not the lady wrestler…

Mae Young is a tough old crow…and say that with all the love in my heart I have for that woman.
I have a few favorites:
1) when the Dudleys put Trish through a table because there was buildup to it. It was during T&A’s feud with the Dudleys. She escaped it the first time and teased them about it. Then she got hers at the PPV. Loved it!
2) Trish putting Lita through a table. It helped with their feud, plus it was badass whrn Lita was being checked on backstage and she just popped up and took off the neck brace and said, “I’m gonna get that bitch” (something like that). I love Lita and Trish feud when Trrish was with T&A.
3) When the Dudleys put Tori through a table. The build up was great! They were trying to put her through a table for the longest time! She put them through one on numerous occasions and finally they got her during that Tables/Dumpster handicap match (Dudleys vs Roaddogg, X-Pac, & Tori) which the Dudleys lost but still put Tori through a table finally after the match. Fantastic.
all were just so… wow… trish’s looked very brutal.. torrie mostly landed on the mat.. stacy.. i cant believe she allowed herself to get bumped like that.. mae was just awwwww… Lita’s looked awesome
The Lita ones are both the same, and by God I sometimes miss those days. But then the arena went nuts for girls being slammed through tables, but would that be a bit of sexism in that or was it just cause it was epic? Your guess is as good as mine.
Also, didn’t Molly Holly also get tabled at some point when her & Spike were jadour’d with each other?
my favorite was when they put Trish through the table, and another favorite is one you forgot, when Barbara Bush aka BB, was put through the tables by the dudley boyz

Stacy Keibler’s was my favourite. The fear that she showed was amazing, I really miss her in WWE. I remember bying Smackdown VS Raw 2007 and thinking …where is Stacy? haha. I think Stacy VS Torrie was one of my favourite diva feuds, ever.
The Mae Young clips are hard to watch, now as amazing as that moment was I can’t help but want to shoot the writers for using Mae. It may not be real, but my god it looks horrible.

i used to love the divas back them taken the tables but some of the divas never even went through them bubba would break the table with his legs or fat ass
Yes, This was the good ole days i remember watching those, they made great Television At the time And I know Mae Young got paid some S**t at her age to go through those tables.

OMG! ready for tonight’s match, I didn’t know so many divas went through tables … come on! Layla, take the bump go through that table (preferably a glamslam face plant) it would be so vicious!
I also liked the storyline with Tori and the Dudley Boyz. I remember one segment when the Dudley’s brought out a table with Tori’s name written on it. That was also around the time they tried to put Stephanie through a table.
Also Trish/Bubba vs Jazz/Steven Richards was another good match. Jazz went through a table that time.
Buba actually put Trish through a table twice, once when they were partners if I recall correctly. They were facing off against Jazz and Steven, and one of them blinded Bubba with the fire extinguisher. Bubba thought he was powerboming Jazz through the table, but it was actually Trish.

BB, is Barbara Bush, she was with the company in the late 99′s, and 2000′s
Ah, the Attitude Era. I remember it well. I was really young during that period and there were alot of things that shocked the hell out of me. However there are three things that litterally traumatised me 1)The Undertaker crucifies Ken Shamrock 2)Everything that involved Mark Henry 3)Mae Yong going through a table. I honestly couldnt sleep after watching her frail young body going through a table. Much respect to all the ladies willing to take such a dangerous bump.
Didn’t Molly and Trish face off in a tables match? I think Molly’s partner was Chris Nowinski or William Regal lol. Very random, I know. But all those clips were awesome, wrestling used to be the shit and now I’m embarassed to admit I watch it. Compared to those days the product is really stale now. I hope the girls step it up tonight and show everyone what they’re made of, the division really needs this.

Some may have said that michelle nor layla will go through a table tonight but if trish who was recently a model when she joined the WWE went through a table really “hardcore” then why not Layla or Michelle? Hopefully we see more going through the tables even if the match already ended tonight.

Trish was my favorite because she actually took the bump, as did Lita. Trish told Bubba she wanted to take the bump head on so to speak.

Aamazing idea..i liked them all..and honestly Torrie was underrated…she sold finishers from male superstars,she went through tabels,she was fans favourite,she improved alot in her lats days..what else she needed to win the title even once
I think you have forgotten about Jazz, Terri & Molly Holly going through tables… but out of them my favourite would have to be Trish pushing Lita through a table.

Terri Runnels was the first Diva to receive the table treatment at the hands of the Dudleys.
Trish took the entire impact of that table I remember that being the big ‘buzz’ on the internet at the time, people were saying how Trish was willing to take harder hits than most of the guys at the time and this video proves it.
Lita was AMAZING, some of the things she did back then were nothing short of revolutionary for women in wrestling.
And as for Mae Young, that now is pretty sad to watch, but its weird how that wouldve been acceptable on WWE TV all those years ago,
As for this Sundays Match, im not expecting anything as hardcore as what weve seen. Im guessing someone is getting whipped into a table standing up in the corner to end the match, or possibly thrown through a table,
almost every divas on the attitude era tasted the table.. the infamous one was bubba dudley obsession putting all the divas to the table and trish was the cherry on top of that storyline. fans goes roaring wild! whenever bubba put all the divas through the table. i remember all trish sexual PROMOS about the table… those were epic.
Wow! Felt like an early Christmas present. It was just so heart warming and satisfing. It reminds me of a time when the WWE actually promoted violence instead of leprechans.
i think Terris since the crowd went slient & the medical came out & everything it was a “omg” moment & i know bubba broke the table first but they still have to hit the mat….
another time was when lita was put through but the dudleys had corned chyna while she was trying to woman handle lita & through lita to them to save herself lol…
