Agreed.. She’s a talent. but I still say that youshoukd also watch for Cookie in TNA.
at 2:15 am
@ryanmvs, why Cookie, she may be an alright talker and everything, but she cant wrestle any, she is extremly sloppy and everything
at 2:16 am
I dont know..It already seems like WWE is going to be doing more with someone else and have her stuck down at FCW :(
I really hope I’m wrong though.
I voted for her.

More anti-Kaitlyn bias from this site

Kaitlyn still has a lot to prove to wrestling fans, so if she improves by leaps and bounds in 2011, she may very well earn the respect that she would have worked for, but right now, a lot of people are skeptical about her, so we’ll all just have to see what 2011 holds.

I voted for Naomi but AJ is a great contender as well.

Sarita I feel should have the best year of all the nominations, provided that TNA continues using her like they are at the moment. It feels like they’re grooming her for a championship next year. So I would certainly consider her as the ‘one to watch’.
AJ would certainly be the most promising in-ring talent from NXT. But if she does get called up to the main roster, she badly needs a gimmick that will put her over with the crowd. Her personality and charisma on NXT felt a bit lacking (which is one reason why she didn’t win), so if she can work on those areas (which I’m sure she can), then we can expect great things. As bad as it sounds, I also think she would benefit from breast implants for a good career in WWE. She’s just doesn’t seem to fit in right with the ‘Diva’ image at the moment. Perhaps Awesome Kong’s signing will change that image requirement though.
Kaitlyn is still an enigma to me. She really shouldn’t have won NXT, since she still needs a lot of development if she’s going to be taken as a legitimate Diva. She has really only been training for a short period of time, so she’s a wildcard as to whether she is going to actually become good in ring or not. I hope that she does, but she is ridiculously green.
Naomi should probably do the best in WWE out of all the NXT women. For the short time she has been wrestling she is very impressive, and I think will fit in fine with the rest of the Divas roster.
Nikki Bella is certainly not going to become a star in her own right until they break her and Brie up. They’re both still seem the most pointless Divas on the roster at the moment along with Rosa Mendes (due completely to the way WWE have used them). It’s hard to see WWE change their role in the roster any time soon.
Winter looks very promising as well for 2011. Unfortunately I doubt we’ll see her be given a singles push, but at least if she’s used right the Knockout Tag Team titles will become more credible.
I also agree with ryanmvs, that Becky Bayless’ career will be most interesting to watch next year. She can easily be transitioned to a wrestler any time TNA wants to. Her feud with Christy Hemme has been quite good so far.

I would’ve went with Nikki Bella or Naomi

I just registered an account here to call total and absolute b.s. on this:
“As bad as it sounds, I also think she would benefit from breast implants for a good career in WWE. She’s just doesn’t seem to fit in right with the ‘Diva’ image at the moment.”
AJ is one of the sexiest women I’ve ever seen on WWE programming. Please don’t use your idea of what a Diva is to say such potentially harmful things in a place she could feasibly read them.

@jonaahhhhhh: It’s definitely not my idea of what is attractive or sexy, but WWE’s. I love the way AJ looks, and personally wouldn’t change a thing, but I’m simply referring to the reality of the Divas division at the moment. Many Divas have had to get implants and cosmetic surgery in order to ‘make it’ in WWE. Jillian Hall and Mickie James are prime examples, in fact Jillian was pressured by WWE to get them, and they even had an entire storyline revolve around her implants taking over her mind in OVW. Mickie on the other hand was already amply endowed, but still had to get implants anyway.
There are very few Divas who haven’t had to get implants, Stacy Kiebler and Michelle McCool (as I believe) are two of them. But the majority have had the surgery done. Trish Stratus had hers removed after retiring, as have a few others, so they only have to last as long as their careers.
It’s a sad reality of women’s wrestling, and is certainly not something I’m a fan of. Even the TNA Knockouts division thrives on it, although it’s never really been a ‘requirement’. Sarita and Winter both fit perfectly in the division with their natural beauty. AJ would actually fit quite well in TNA (with her previous trainer Jay Lethal).
I’m not ‘anti-implants’, but I don’t think women should be pressured as they are in women’s wrestling to have to get implants when they wouldn’t otherwise want them. But fact is, for women in the entertainment industry, the body is the product more often than not, and I don’t think this reality is going to change any time soon with the very fixed images of ‘beauty’ that Western culture has adopted.
I really don’t think what I said was ‘total and absolute b.s.’. I acknowledged that it sounds bad, but it is the truth.

Nikki, Sarita and Winter all could’ve won imo.
Welldone to Aj though, 2011 will be her year deffinatley. She’ll be on Raw by 2012.
at 4:21 pm
!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes
at 5:58 pm
I think all these wrestler must be watched in 2011 :) but I voted Naomi :)
at 11:51 pm
i really think Rosa Mendas will make a impact but congrats A.J
at 12:54 am
@Piggie James- Im pretty sure Jillian said that the implants were her own doings. Also I believe that the whole blonde getting to her head storyline was before she was signed by the WWE.
Yes! I love Aj Lee and I hope she has a big year. Please make her have a fued with Awesome Kong and Melina WWE!

I think AJ is the next big babyface, and Naomi is the next big “wrestler” who’ll bring it up a notch in the division. Aksana, is the next big personality. That girl is crazy.
at 2:07 am
Let AJ be herself, and not come across as forced. She has turned heads, and 2011 will be a bright year for her.
at 4:51 am
I’m watching Naomi, Winter, and most of all Sarita!!
at 6:10 am
Kaitlyn should be the one to watch in 2011. She is going to start wrestling and getting recognition for her power and excellent Judo skills. Already, Kaitlyn is a master of counters, flips and holds so with her prowess in grappling and her strong muscular frame will make her hard to beat when she actually stars wrestling. Plus, she’ll be )winning over the crowds with her pleasant personality and quirky sense of humor. Kaitlyn is the funniest and arguably most entertaining Diva on the microphone so she should be popular when she gets her time.
As for AJ Lee, she’ll probably never get her time. She is athletic and flashy in the ring but she is small and not pretty enough to be a Diva, in my opinion. Sorry if that’s offensive but I believe it to be true. Also, her personality is underwhelming and she is lame when she speaks on the mic. She’s a good wrestler, sure, but she doesn’t have what it takes to be a full-time WWE Diva.
I’m surprised that Naomi didn’t win and that Aksana didn’t make the ballot, considering they are both probably going to be on the main WWE roster in 2011. Oh well, all the best to AJ Lee, but all the best and more to Kaitlyn who should have the best year out of all of the candidates (and Aksana). Go Kaitlyn Go!
