Former WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro is reportedly in contention for the lead role of a new reality show.
According to the New York Daily News via PWInsider, the show would see male suitors fight in MMA bouts for the chance to ‘win her heart’. I’m guessing this is sort of a spin on the ‘Flava of Love’ and ‘Rock of Love’ type shows that were once popular on VH1.

Don’t know what’s worse. Ashley accepting to do the show, or the guys who wanted to be on it.
She sort of disappeared from the entertainment industry after she left WWE (think she was headlining an event at a strip club or something, and that was about it).
Anyway, she would be perfect for a show like this. Most of us really hold her in contempt for being a terrible wrestler, but she was actually pretty popular with fans for a time, and could talk pretty well. Still I thought she might have moved on and found a new career path after that escort expose. Suppose she was just lying low until the heat died down. Well it’s sure to come up again if she gets the job and the show has any success (to be honest the idea is pretty hilarious, would love to see how lame the guys are lol).

See, I find it a little hypocritical when people rant and rave about how it’s so unfair and harsh when people insult their favourite (specifically their personal life) and yet are so willing to taunt Ashley.
Frankly, I don’t see how this is any less classy than some of the things WWE Divas do, but that’s just me.
I love reality shows! I’m so going to mark out for ashley during her time doing whatever show. I have watched pretty much all reality shows on VH1 espicially flavor of love & i love money <3

I love reality TV shows, too! I used to love this girl so much on her first run in WWE.
But in her second run, I became aware she was bad in the ring, aware of the rumors being said about her, and the way she adressed them. It made her look like a complete wh*re. But back then, she was my favourite WWE Diva and i’ll always have that secret obsession over her haha.
This is good for her imo, as a struggling “model” you’ll do anything to try and get a bit of cash… and we all know what measures she’ll go to in order to get money. But yeah, I won’t like I did watch some Flavor Of Love, Shot Of Love with Tila Tequila >.< so perhaps if I do see this, i'll watch it.

Alright everyone, a little harsh much? Maybe she did get exposed as a high priced prostitute but how many prostitutes do we know in real life? The answer might surprise you. A prostitue doesn’t necessarily have to get her pay in the form of “money.”
Also, there are plenty of past WWE Divas who were rumored to sleep around to get matches and ahead of the game. Is that not also prostitution? Yes, that includes some of your old favorites.
Ashley as an entertainer in WWE wasn’t bad. She had a character, she was a natural on the mic and had a decent following for a time. Personally I couldn’t stand her in the ring, she was truly cringe worthy, but I didn’t mind her in her supporting roles.
I won’t be watching, but I wish her well. It’s too bad it didn’t work out in WWE, I was finally warming up to her and I like her themes Light A Fire 2 Versions and Be Yourself.
ryanmvs, Kaitlyn’s definitely not trying to be like Ashley at all. Kaitlyn is her own unique personality and is nothing like Ashley. Plus, she’s way prettier too!

3. I hope AJ comes up too, but not if it means losing Kaitlyn or Maryse. I know Naomi is going to be coming up soon and Aksana is popular too. With the signing of Awesome Kong, they might have to lose a Diva or two if you want to see AJ. I certainly hope they don’t lose anybody (unless it were Bella Twins, Layla or Melina) because I only care about the women and I think they should bring back the Women’s Championship and also make a Diva Tag Team title too. Maybe that way, AJ can make the Raw or Smackdown roster.
@Ryan1919 – I mean before she did Survivor. She was off our screens for a while, and then she returned later on and was traded back to Raw.

To be honest, you’d be pretty stupid not to sleep with business men who will pay you $25,000 if that would usually be as much as you’d earn a year in any regular job. Of course that is if you’re prepared to let some of your personal morals go out the window.
Put it this way. If she was actually getting a few clients paying that much money, then when she goes on a shopping spree she’s certainly helping the economy by putting that money back into the system. Money which would otherwise, probably not go to any good use by those clients. So if she’s ripping off rich men (who are likely immoral themselves) I don’t see anything wrong with it.
Although as far as I know prostitution is still illegal pretty much everywhere but Nevada? Still, you could just use the classic escort defense line: “Prices are for the escort’s time only. Anything that happens between the client and the escort during that time is purely consensual and not for money”.
I’m sorry but I think a lot of you are being immature. Seriously. I can understand why some of you would rant and rave about petty things CONCERNING pro-wrestling but I really think it’s VERY distasteful to be making fun of Ashley considering the fact that this has little to do with the industry. Chances are, the worst she can do is tarnish the reputation of women’s wrestling but has she EVER been in a position to have that kind of influence?
People make fun of her for being an escort and such but the girl is only trying to make a living. She has a child. Granted her choice of lifestyle is not necessarily the best but who are we to say that we wouldn’t have done the same OR SOMETHING WORSE given the right circumstances?

I’ll admit if I was a woman I would most likely consider being an escort, and being an escort doesn’t technically mean you have to sleep with your clients, there are some women who just be the guys date for the night and if they want to sleep with them is all up to the escort.
