Question: What exactly did Batista do to her? I know it was a long time ago, but I still don’t know what happened. Can anyone clue me in? LOL
i would say it’s a big loss to the wrestling community, but it’s not…

I was fond of her run in WWE’s ECW so I am a bit disappointed to her walking away from the biz when she had so much potential. But the way things are, I’m surprised more women don’t just up and quit.
A sleazy custom shoot guy is pestering her about doing more shoots. The guy is a control freak and pimp like.
Good luck to her. She’s always seemed super-sweet in interviews and the like, and I hope she finds some sort of career or vocation in which she can be happy.

Batista wanted Ariel aka Shelly to sleep with him,she said no & wouldn’t back down from him,so he went to Vince with a her or me situation & Shelly got released…
batista did the same with mickie,but they cooled him down or something..he also went after one the of bellas i read somewhere…
hes “dated” Kelly,Rosa,Melina,Rebeca(divasearch girl) & i think afew other he comes off as a womanizer to me…

What I recall Shelly saying happened in her Diva Dirt Interview was that a friend of Shelly’s was dating Batista and told him something that Shelly had said in to her regards to their relationship. Whatever it was Shelly said angered him and led him to harass her, she in turn defended herself and then he got her fired.
BTW, there is an awful quote from Batista’s book where he essentially blamed his wife for his infidelities because she was too ill from cancer to sleep with him. Disgusting. So despite whatever happened b/t him and Shelly he is still a serious slimeball.
I loved her as Ariel in ECW. She was a perfect goth vampire pin-up girl with a smoldering stage presence. I hope she finds a better path for herself. The trailer for her campy Sprinkles movie looks really fun.

@drayme Where did you hear that it was a sleazy customer shooter? That sounds plausible. Did Shelly say that elsewhere? I haven’t met any customer shooters, but I have gotten some creepy vibes from fan photographers at shows. That kind of thing can turn creepy real quick.
Have you listened to the interview she did on this site? How about the one on PWInsider? How about her radio interview where she has told the story a few times?
Apparently according to you there are these magical unnamed interviews where she contradicts those interviews named above. Amazing.

She was entertaining in WWE and TNA, but was very limited in her wrestling skills. So I don’t really consider this a big loss, especially because she hasn’t really been doing anything noteworthy in wrestling since leaving TNA.
