Following her well received shoot interview last year, the Diva formerly known as Ivory is back! This time she’s paired up with Kayfabe Commentaries, the team behind that amazing Maria Kanellis YouShoot interview, to tell the story of WWE in 2001.

As part of the company’s ‘Timeline: History of the WWE’ DVD series, they take one wrestler to chronicle each year. Ivory, who was at the height of her WWE fame in big angle with Chyna and the Right to Censor in 2001, seems like the perfect choice.

  1. she seems like a total bitch. mocking chyna, and saying that shell go into other wwe staffs personal lifes. looks like someone is in desperate need of some cash lol

  2. ^^^Or maybe she’s just being HONEST!
Sometimes when you watch shoot interviews, you can tell that the wrestler/diva is not going to give up anything, for fear of pissing WWE off but it’s obvious that she doesn’t care.
    I’ll be getting this.

  3. the music playing throughout the trailer was really annoying

    but anyway
it looks like a good interview full of Dirt on the WWE life, she made an excellent point about the writers at the end as well

  4. Looks great! If you have ever heard Ivory talk about her life before, she really is open and honest. She never is one one to hold back and speaks her mind which is a rareity in wrestling. That’s just her!

  5. Why do people think you’re a bitch or an asshole if you’re honest? Granted, if people crossed Ivory wrong, she tells you what she thinks of them. If Ivory loved someone, she tells you she loves that person. Just like any other person would do.

She ALWAYS does great interviews. And she doesn’t age at all either!

  6. i do find it odd that ivory speaking her mind is something people are worshipping her for, but somebody like sunny doing the same means she’s a bitter washed up old hag.

  7. @Kaledrina yes yoo do have a point but, it is the way sunny says things, and the way she is, is juss really rude and out of order, like when she made those comments about lacey and the bella twins, it was uncalled for, but what ivory said wasnt really being mean in any way shape or form, she was juss speaking her mind, something which sunny does abit to much, as there are some things yoo should juss keep to your self.

  8. Personally I loved Ivory in WWE and some of what she says has good points. But at the same time a lot of what she is saying does just sound like she is bitter. Her attitude is so negative about EVERYTHING. She fails to say oh I was given a huge main role in WWF/WWE for a while and a former Women’s Champion, she says I didn’t get this and this and this… well it’s not all about her. The business does not revolve around Ivory.

  9. Trailers for shoot interviews will never show positive things one said…they want to make money and everybody wants to hear the dirt.

  10. Ivory was always one of my favorite past Divas , I constantly every once in a while watch her old matches ! Ivory will always be one of my favoirte Female wrestlers. The good thing about her is she is as sexy as ever then she was back in her days…

Also Ivory isnt being a bitch, she is keeping it 100% Real , its better to be honest then lie , she isnt with wwe anymore she does not have to hold back anything. one thing that she said was true ” you shoudnt have to kiss ass , to get a storyline. You shoudnt have to kiss ass to get far in the company. but I guess thats what you have to do sometimes i guess…

  11. @DanielRoyce

To be fair, though, in my experience (I don’t want to speak for everyone) people buy shoot interviews to get “the dirt” on the business. That dirt people tend to be looking for is negative. People don’t want to pay money to watch an interview where the interviewee is just saying, “oh yeah! Had a great time! Weee!” It’s likely Ivory has a lot of positive things to say about her time with the company, but just making a commercial full of that wouldn’t be appealing to most people. WWE already has people shilling for them in every interview (its current superstars and divas), so you could pick up any magazine for that. This organization, like many others, wants to make it seem like they’ve got some exclusive news on what was “really happening behind the scenes” that wasn’t so rosy. It’s the sort of thing that draws people in with a five minute commercial.

  12. Ooh! Ivory’s interviews always demand my attention, ha ha. I love her honesty and realness. I hope someone at Diva Dirt does a review of this, because the more Ivory-related posts the better. Maybe even an exclusive interview with the Diva?

As for the comparison between her and Sunny, well, um, eh… I do see a line between the two.

  13. everything that was shown was kinda negative or bitterly honest but that isnt the whole video so dont assume its all like that….

theirs a difference between being bitter & honest…i think shes being honest..

chyna was a bitch towards her & other woman their…like when ivory n stone cold made the cover of tv guide, chyna went off because ivory had a leather top on & that was chynas thing…ivorys impression of chynas voice was spot on lol..ivory said she couldn’t stand one of the divas on the second photo shoot??? wonder who it is..

Ivory looks amazing its like shes been frozen in time or something…

  14. I like this shoot-esque interview, yeah, she’s saying not-so-great things I suppose, but she isn’t pulling a Sunny move by acting self-entitled without having really done anything, except look pretty and talk, and just trash everybody, or like Jim Cornette, and just bury anyone who worked under his previous employer. She’s just talking about people’s lack of wrestling skill and the politicking we all knew was there, she’s just mentioning it, she’s not acting like she’s so high and mighty or God’s gift to wrestling, but is just talking about how it was at that time.

  15. i love shoot interviews, because i find it that the truth really come outs, and @kaledrina, the difference between Ivory and Sunny, is that Sunny says it for attention, and its the way she says it and why she says it, Ivory tells the truth, but she will also tell you if its a lie

  16. @Kalendrina

I probably wouldn’t be one of those people “worshiping” (as you put it) since I praised Ivory and Sunny.

Opinions are for people to have I guess.

  17. When she talks about no reciprocation, they just want you to work as hard as you can for no extra reward, I thought “that sounds like employment anywhere.” I don’t doubt that it’s a legit complaint for the wrestling biz, but it’s common in every field. Lots of employers see a person with a strong work ethic as a sucker to be exploited.

  18. theres a difference between honesty and bitchyness though. She even mocks chynas voice. She could have just said what happened honestly whitout being bitchy about it . imo anyway

  19. This sounds good i love Ivory.

That was a perfect impression of Chyna she had me Lmao.

  20. I know this has nothing to do with the interview, but she looks FANTASTIC for 49!

  21. Wow, I’m really surprised at the Chyna comment.

  22. /end sarcasm

  23. Ivory is one of my all time favorites and she is still looking as great as ever! I want her back in the ring or as least return to the WWE as a trainer on TE.

  24. One of the things Ivory will always have over Sunny is that fact that, despite her opinions, she’s also humble and quite willing to criticize herself. I saw her first shoot and there were no delusions about being the best thing in the women’s division or “the WWE’s first diva”. For that alone, she gets bonus points.

  25. Ivory looks amazing. How is it that she and Jacqueline look younger than Victoria/Tara? Anywhoo Chyna’s sttitude has been documented by plenty of wrestlers from that era. It’s no secret she thought she was better than all the other divas. I just wanna hear Ivory go into more detail about why Jacqueline used to stiff her. She briefly mentioned it in a previous shoot.

  26. Are you serious?? Mocking Chyna’s voice is being a bitch?? Wooow, she didn’t even look bitter when mocking her. People these days….

ANYWAYS!!!! that looks like a great shoot interview. Straight forward and to the point.

  27. I believe Ivory has her points when it comes to chyna and good on her for having them. Ivory is doing this and her shoot for money and if she said nice things about everyone very few people would buy it. It doesn’t matter to me if she liked Chyna or not. Chyna helped pave the way for women like Lita and Trish. It is the same when people bag out The Fabulous Moolah, without them god knows what we would have… I’ve always like Ivory, I have always said she misused most of her career but that is the WWE Fault.

  28. Dudes and dudettes: Only the second half was slightly negative. Y’alls overreacting.

Anyway: It is great insight on the company. If she was all “OMG YES WWE IS SO GREAT!” we’d call her a liar. Because we know it isn’t butterflies and lillies.

    I find two things interesting:
    1) her “meltdown” I get it. They were not making all the divas model and blah blah and she wasn’t into that. Hilarious.
    2) Running from Miss Kitty. I always found it hilarious that NOW that Ivory’s a heel with the Right to Censor, she was suddenly scared of …Miss Kitty. Hilarious.

  29. I can see why some people might compare Sunny to Ivory, as they are effectively doing the same thing (shoot interviews), but on the other hand Ivory has a lot more credibility and respect in the business than Sunny, which will obviously make her shoots a lot more credible to watch.

All of her comments seemed honest and genuine, and she just says it how it is. The problem with Sunny is that even if what she says is actually true, people are always going to question it, because Sunny’s delusions of grandeur are no secret to anyone.

  30. I agree with Kaledrina. I don’t like the tone Ivory was using when speaking about her coworkers, especially threatening to go into Jim Ross’s personal life, it isn’t any of her business to spill it. Not very professional Ivory.

  31. Both Chyna and Lita has been said to be pains in the assess when it came to training with the others.

  32. Besides sorry to all you little fangirls and fanboys, but wwe isn’t that great of a place nor are all your all time favorites great people.
