A breakdown of the Raw ratings from this past Monday shows that Jersey Shore star Snooki’s appearance on Raw went much in the same way as her co-stars’ in TNA: the ratings went down.

The period featuring Snooki’s in-ring promo and Drew Carey’s Hall of Fame announcement lost 301,000 viewers, according to the Wrestling Observer.

However, there is good news, as the match between Trish Stratus and Vickie Guerrero that followed gained 406,000 viewers and scored a strong 3.77 quarter hour rating.

The show averaged a 3.66 with 5.68 million viewers.

  1. I wonder if this is the wake up call for WWE that their two most over women in the company can draw good ratings, and that they should build up more of their women to ‘get over’ instead of contracting Snooki in the hopes of getting ratings (which clearly didn’t occur).

    Unlikely.

  2. The information meanings nothing if you dont post what segment came before as well as how many ad breaks in the segment

  3. did you not read what segment came before lol,of course the ratings went down with the Drew Carey hall of fame, so people obviously werent gonna tune in to that, lol, but the viewers stayed and watched Snooki attack on Laycool so i guess it evens out

  4. So… thats 3 Jersey Shore cast members and 3 very dissapointing but predictable ratings. Take note TNA and WWE.

  5. I guess all 3 of the Jersey girls didn’t draw. I personally think the media attention all three ladies got was worth it though(epesically Snooki and JWoww).

I mean Angelina and Snooki got WWE and TNA on E! news and I have never ever seen wrestling even mentioned on that show.

  6. I’m not surprised

  7. I’ve never understood why Meltzer’s Observer bothers with the quarter ratings. No one loses their push because their QH did badly, no one gets rewarded for a good QH, and the talent goes on a different part of the show each week. Plus, viewing habits can be very inconsistent. Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan last week bombed in the ratings, yet Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan this week gained viewers.

  8. Personally, I won’t have a problem if Snookie or Angelina weren’t actually wrestling but it is what it is. Hey if TNA wants to one up WWE, then book Charlie Sheen for the PPV because he’s bi winning. (That’s a joke, OK!)

  9. “I’ve never understood why Meltzer’s Observer bothers with the quarter ratings. No one loses their push because their QH did badly, no one gets rewarded for a good QH”

    Super untrue

  10. Trish still = Ratings

  11. “Super untrue”

How? Look at the Miz, for example. If WWE was that concened about QH ratings, they would have stopped pushing him because according to the Observer’s QH breakdowns, his segments have consistently been performing poorly.

  12. I don’t get how both WWE and TNA could be so mindless. As a company they should be paying more attention to the ratings then just ignoring it. The ratings tell you what people want and don’t want to see.

  13. If people really did care about Snooki being involved on Raw, they wouldn’t have turned off regardless of how bad the segments before were. Snooki is totally irrelevent to wrestling as are most guest hosts so why would people care to watch her? why WWE thought Snooki would appeal to the audience really does confuse me. JWoww didn’t, Angelina didn’t and neither did Snooki.

  14. wasn’t snooki in all her segments with either trish or vickie, though? i don’t see how it’s possible they could narrow down the exact seconds where viewers switched off =/ also, there was a commercial right before snooki’s in-ring promo which likely lead to the loss in ratings as opposed to snooki herself (i mean, it’s not as if the match aftermath with snooki lost ratings, is it?)

  15. well pretty suprising but i tho snooki might be able to draw ratings since shes pretty popular on JS but i guess i was wrong. just shows that not many people like JS and also during snooki’s promo tha fans were booing her her aswell.

anyway im glad vickie and trish segment bought fans back to tune in

  16. The jersey shore girls have an expiration date, can’t wait for them to lose their popularity. Trish Stratus is awesome but Snooki isn’t.

**Why was my post erased? Sigh…I swear people get away with more than I do…all I did was post a small news bit about Kelly being in Trish and Morrison’s corner at Wrestlemania.

  17. I am so glad that wresting fans such as myself are totally NOT over their heads supporting on Jersey girls’ wrestling.I thought they would make a big fuss about them and give them credit (regardless positive or negative) they do not deserve.Just let that Jersey-mania joke pass by and ignore it.It will be for it to be gone even sooner and let us put our hopes on something meaningfull in those companies regarding the Divas…

  18. Man DROP Snook and get Lita n Trish vs LayCool!!! DO IT RIGHT WWE! FORGET THE PUBLICITY! =(

  19. Hey meantime..as for Angelina on TNA…i dont mind it at all..she blends in with Robbie E n Cookie, i mean she isnt a wrestler at all but its not really interfering with anything big like FREAGGIN WRESTLEMANIA!!…alltho i would rather see Roxxi ODB n Alissa FLash Kicking ass than Angelina, its some pretty funny segments..JWoww’s was the worst most expensive 5 minutes TNA wasted hahaha…smh

LOL keep in mind that WSU has Alicia…The Original Jersey Girl….and a much better representative than those three twits that were mentioned XD
