Mickie James Puts Hair on the Line at Lockdown: ‘Hair vs Title’ Match Announced
Mickie James will make the biggest gamble of her TNA career next month by putting her hair on the line in a bid for the Knockouts Championship.
James will once again challenge Madison Rayne for the belt inside a steel cage at Lockdown, but if she loses, she’ll have her hair cut off.
The stakes are incredibly high which should make this the biggest ‘must see’ Knockouts match since the Mickie/Tara cage match last December.
Lockdown airs on pay per view on April 17th.

wow..gr8 news……since tlc and tara vs mickie steel cage match i havent seen any interesting match……….
i also doubt if wwe is going to pull another big match just like they did last december as tna held a steel cage match

I cant wait to see this match , I hope both women bring it. Espically madison I hope she does more than just scream , pound you on your head then wait for a opening to win. Plus its in A Steel Cage too , makes it even better

The stipulation ruins this because now we all KNOW that Mickie is going to win. There’s no way in hell Mickie has agreed to have her head shaved. They might as well just say buy this PPV to see Mickie win the title.
Am I the ONLY person that doesn’t want Mickie to win this belt. There is no one for her to feud with once she gets it. TNA I love you, but putting the belt on Mickie is a HORRIBLE idea.

@tjsmith3 I dont know, Winter & Angelina seem to be teasing a heel turn, and Tara could possibly feud with Mickie, but they need to bring in more KOs, they need to hire those Knockouts that returned for one night only as part of that lame “Open Challenge”

It doesnt really matter though. If Madison wins, she will have the same problem as Mickie. The other 3 faces are already in a feud right now, so they need to turn Tara
face (again) to have someone to feud with Madison.

ii really hope that mickie wins madison title reign is sorta drag and it’s time to be over plus i don’t wanna see mickie get shaved a small hair cut maybe.
as for the lack of competition i think they might rekindle the tara and mickie feud that one thing or make angelina feud with mickie once the storyline with winter over.

Instead of complaining, why don’t you look at the brighter side of things – a Knockouts steel cage match! I’m excited to see that! We all know Mickie can bring it so I’m anxious to see if Killer Queen can.

I think it is pretty obvious mickie james is gonna win this one. there is no way she is gonna shave her head so she will win and get the title finally.

@tjsmith3 U need to stops acting so whinny ,what make mickie titles reign horrible idea at least if it was horrible like you assume it least it well be better than madisons reign ever since she wins it from tara her reign was awful until the open challenges her reign start to become interesting.plus we all know tna failed to build there ko strong champion with the exception of kong and gail tna made them looks strong.those two ko was the only ones tna made them look good as for the others tna failed miserably .

I can’t believe I’ve just noticed that Madison has NO ONE to feud with. Then again, Trish’s title reigns were like this aswell and she’s known as a legend. Constant title defenses on SD, RAW, and Heat.

Madison has Angelina , Mickie , Velvet
Mickie has Madison, Tara , Sarita & Rosita
Unless they do Heel vs Heel fued or Face vs Face….

This sounds great! I really doubt Mickie will lose this to Madison, but it would absolutely crazy if she did! No one would expect it, and it would be rather shocking to watch (not to mention put them both over incredibly).
I think most of us were expecting Title vs Career, but obviously TNA have been doing too many of those with the Knockouts. I think this is an interesting direction, and the best part is that since it’s been booked early, they’ll have another 3 weeks to build up to the match.
I think if Madison wins, she’ll feud against Tara. If Mickie wins, Sarita would be best. Either way, it’s hard to see Tara staying with Madison after Lockdown if her elbow has healed.

Mickie isnt going to lose lol, she is trying to become a singing sensation in the country world lol so she isnt going to cut off all her hair, so its easy to tell that Mickie will win

I agree. The last cage match had zero buildup, so this is a huge improvement. This time it’s also on PPV so no annoying commercial break right after the match starts.

i really hope that TNA well make lockdown as the best PPV now with hogan in charge of the creative and bishoff ad an executive producer, you can expect the PPV might go down to hill hopefully i am wrong.

I love Madison, but…LET’S GO MICKIE!!!!! I’m looking foward to the match, and the build up to it. Two very talented ladies.
@A.E. Hogan isn’t in charge of creative, that was just a rumor. PWInsider debunked that rumor. They think he was likely talking about his MCW project which he has been reported to be very hands on.

Hey,for you guys,who are saying that Mickie will win just because is a Hair vs. TItle,i think you forgot about one match!
At Wrestlemania XX(I think) it was Victoria vs Molly Holly,with the same stipulation,TItle vs Hair,and Molly lose it and had to shave her head!
So,i think that anyhing can happen!:)
Anyway,i’m really anxious for this match!I acn’t wait,it can be a EPIC match with these two phenomenal women’s!

hopefully they also manage to add a secondary knockouts match to the ppv… velvet vs winter, perhaps? the feud between madison/mickie is great and all but i don’t really find myself caring whether mickie has hair or not or who has the title right now.

If Mickie does lose and shave her head then it’s just another dumb decision by TNA to put on the list.. Like seriously, what good can come of it besides vaguely putting Madison over? Unless Mickie wants to shave her head for some odd reason..
I really hope Mickie wins, I’m worried because in the wrestling world “shock value” is a big deal and she could very well end up shaving her head..

@Kaledrina i remember that someone said that Velvet and Winter can have a steel cage match,with Angelina as the referee!So Angelina will have to choose one of them!I think LockDown is the perfect PPV for this,cause we can have this great moment,and 2 Knockouts Cage Matches!:D

The two things I hate are
1. Madison is going to lose in her hometown.
2. I cant go to lockdown even though I live in Ohio because I have school in the morning and I need energy. Ugh..
