i don’t know if sarita is mexican, but she does have latina blood, she’s said so herself in interviews before she even joined TNA. She said growing up, she had a very loving hispanic family. I know rosita is not mexican, she’s puerto rican
it’s weird hearing these 2 talk as sarita has the hispanic accent, but rosita doesn’t, her accent is full american
The match was okay, however I feel like I can’t really watch a Mickie James match without really knowing the outcome already, I know she’s valuable to the Knockouts division and she has a big match coming up, so this could be pushing her towards the PPV. However, it just felt like Mickie controlled the whole match, everything Rosita did was practically reversed or lasted a minute before Mickie too back control, it just feels like Mickie should be assisting in putting people over, however since coming to TNA she’s only put over Madison and that’s only because she’s holding the belt. Maybe it’s because I’m not a Mickie fan, but I don’t know it just seems that everything is so predictable with her, with the exception of the Last Knockout Standing Match.
Xplosion was a nice way of building upon Rosita, who as a character was pretty overshadowed in her debut, even with a championship around her waist, we still don’t see much of her as an individual.
@Looking Glass Mickie put over more then Madison. Just because someone dont win dont mean they dont get put over offense is putting over too Plus Mickie lost to Sarita too.

1.) Since she returned to TNA people like yourself pretty much asumed she just come back, win the title and walk through everyone there. HASN’T HAPPENED.
2.) People figured she would beat Tara on PPV at Turning Point. DIDN’T HAPPEN.
3.) People figured she would beat Tara on PPV at Final Resolution. DIDN’T HAPPEN.
4.) People figured she would beat Maddie on PPV at Genesis. DIDN’T HAPPEN.
5.) People figured she would beat Maddie on PPV at Against All Odds. DIDN’T HAPPEN.
As of right now, I think Mickie’s TNA run has been anything but predictable.
Onto Rosita, I don’t care for the girl at all if i’m being honest and that’s pretty much down to her size, she’s just so unrealistic and unbelievable and not in a good way either. I was watching the match and thinking to myself when Mickie had her pinned, there’s no way it looks like she can kick out of that. Another fine example was when she won the KO tag titles when she rolled up Winter for about 10seconds.
I liked this match, nice promo at the start. Afew spots missed, like when Sarita had to yell out to Rosita to kick Mickie off the apron. lol. But other than that, I enjoyed it. You can still tell Rosita is a newbie – but still, WAAAYYYY better than any Maria or Maryse match. (exluding the Maryse match when she first won the title back on SD – amazing match IMO)
I agree with Dale. Mickie could have been a 3x Knockouts Champion by now , if they shoved the title on her as soon as she got here. Mickie has been here since what Oct-dec (i4get). They could have pulled a Tara on Mickie having her win & loose titles
Firstly love the generalizing of ‘people like yourself’, I’m fully aware of people not having to win to put people over, but really this title round what has Mickie done to earn the shot in the Hair vs. Title match? Nothing. Just because she doesn’t get the title instantly doesn’t mean she’s being booked in a way that’s not set her up, plus she’s pretty much guaranteed to win it this time, I mean what bald female country singers have you heard of?
The only people she’s actively been pinned by is Tara (former WWE) in order to make Madison look strong and Maddy the KO champ, she’s had numerous matches with Sarita and has beat her the majority of the time, just increasing Mickie’s streak. Granted Mickie hasn’t stormed the title straight away, but it’s not exactly like TNA aren’t throwing her in our faces at every opportunity. To be frank, I’m tired of this feud, the hair thing makes no sense, one minute Madison is a ‘career killer’ and now she just wants Mickie’s hair for no reason? Just a cheap gimmick match.
The hair does make sense since they just did a career match with Velvet & Sarita. I think tna was waiting for Lockdown the biggest PPV after Bound For Glory for Mickie to win the title. Mickie been putting people over if not wins then matches in general. Mickie been pinned by Sarita & Madison too. Mickie win lost record is bout even so she not just winning all the time.
i am personally think the match was decent slow based a little but still good stuff.
@Looking Glass why hate here is the thing if mickie dosn’t put over to anybody like you said she could have been multiple time KO champ,then ,if you really wanna talk about dosn’t put over to the other is madison rayne and i am not talking about her first run but i am talking about since winning her first title she rarely got pinned.and TNA FAILED TO BUILD her up as a powerful champ during her three runs,don’t get me wrong i used to be a big madison fan however ever since her last reign as champ she became awkward in the ring tripping more than wrestling.

yeah, mickie’s win/loss record in tna is pretty even. which is great! as said above, she easily could’ve been fed the entire roster and given the title straight away (i actually thought she’d have it within a month of debuting myself) so the fact she hasn’t been handed everything on a platter is awesome. honestly, it wouldn’t completely surprise me if she lost at lockdown!
anyway, i’m really digging sarita as a heel right now.. rosita i’m still a bit iffy with. she seems to have all the tools to be a standout knockout, but for now she’s yet to really impress me. nice, clean match and even though it was on xplosion and not impact, it’s great to see the tag titles getting a bit of spotlight here and there as opposed to this time last year!
