Tonight at TNA’s Lockdown pay-per-view, Mickie James defeated Madison Rayne with a Mickie-DT to become the new Knockouts Champion in less than a minute.
This marks the first time Mickie has held a TNA championship and makes her the first woman to hold the Women’s, Divas and Knockouts championships.
Congratulations to Mickie!

HardCore Country! While the match wasnt what I expected , and despite the fact I think considering Mickie’s injury they should have held the match off. But none the less History has been made and as a Die Hard Mickie fan. I love it……HardCore Country Baby!!! Listen up…
Don’t care that the match was less than a minute, all I care about is that Mickie FINALLY made history. Sorry Gail Kim & her fans, WWE ruined it!
Obviously, Mickie arm isn’t 100% better, but hopefully it will heal soon. I’d love to see a Mickie vs. Tara vs. Madison feud leading into the next PPV.

They could not hold off the match With the stipulation if it was normal no stipulation they could have changed it. It was short but mostly due to Mickie shoulder.
Not disappointed with the result, because I expected it. Disappointed the match was over so quickly, but I guess Mickie’s injury had something to do with that.
Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see where they go from here.
wow 40 seconds for the match, why even put the title on mickie, if she is injuried, let madison keep the title until mickie is cleared and then let them have one hell of a match, dont put them in a steel cage match and have title vs hair match and then only let it be less than a minute that is just complete dumb booking and dont make sense

Congrats Mickie after cutting by far the best promo on 4/14/11 impact she deserveed it. Kudo’s Mickie now TNA bring in some new talent for her to feud with like Sara Del Rey Lufisto, WSU Alicia, Rachel Summerlyn etc.,

@Katie MICKIE IS INJURED, you need to be more considerate since you’re not in that ring putting it all on the line. Edge had to retire because of his injures, this is seriously no joke. The match was PERFECTLY BOOKED and it had NOTHING to do with her being injured either.
@SherriShepherdWWE I agree that putting MIckie in the ring injured was poor booking, but TNA backed themselves into a corner. They set up the match and couldn’t go back. Plus, TNA never knows how to handle these situations the right way. *cough*JeffHardyvsSting*cough*
Well I mean anyone remember Natalya’s title win at Survivor Series? Man the match was garbage…YET!! the Build up was awesome…and the single matches before that against Michelle and Layla were top notch!! I can easily forgive Mickie and Nattie cause they had work in the making! It wasnt just a random match out of the blue were she just wins the belt…IE Melina at Summerslam. or Michelle three weeks later.
It was a build up…pus Mickie is pretty hurt. Ish Happens man. Angelina gets knocked out during the cage match with Kong and Taylor…what a great match with a CRAP finish lol yet u know, its the match that was great and build up that makes it worth it. =)

LoL dont even mention that promo cuz that didnt occur at the PPV at all. Madison only punishment was a DDT. She didnt get all that she deserved AND THEN SOME.
Being first, second or third are all still great. Hopefully Gail is #2. Mickie, face and champion don’t seem to click very well now heel, mickie and champion seems so much better! The Bellas are awful, you can’t compare them to someone like Mickie. Mickie vs. Madison had a big build up while Bellas/Eve was plain horrible maybe now that Triple H is ahead of buisness he can change things up because so far things are looking interesting down at WWE as we’ve seen on Monday which involves all RAW divas except for Melina and Alicia (releases?) :\

Think could of been in Mickie contract she won the title at Lockdown or 6 months in. Plus could not change the match.

Lily Mickie did make history triple crown for mainstream women wrestling. I bet if Gail did it first you would say she made history. Yes Gail did win the first KO title but that cuz Mickie was in WWE wrestling for titles. SO both made history in different ways but this is big too.
Mickie james won the womens title at her debut wrestlemania, and is the first and only woman to win the womens title twice in her beginning year. Not to mention she faced Trish stratus at WM and and faced Lita in her retirement match, and won both
she’s also the closest woman to ever come close to Trish’s record of womens titles, and now she has this to add to her resume.
This is a big moment in womens wrestling, no women can say that she’s won all mainstream womens singles belts. Now all mickie has to do is win the Knockout tag title, and she will have won every mainstream female belt there is, and she has no competition for making that history making
Madison lost the the Title after 6 months in a Squash Match…crap. And this Triple Crown bla bla. 2 of the 3 Titles not older than 3 1/2 years.

It’s nothing special anymore. the divas title has no prestige. Divas like Maryse and Eve won the divas title 2 divas and die knockout was once won by Angelina Love taking it out of a Case.
@SherriShepherdWWE the match was not ground making but Mickie holding the knockouts title in her hand was. It gave me flashbacks of her winning all her past titles up to this one
