This week on WWE Superstars, new Smackdown Divas, Alicia Fox and Natalya, had their last match as Raw Divas (for now) in a ol’ tag team match. Alicia and Natalya teamed up with Melina and Gail Kim, respectively, before being shipped off to the blue brand. Which team comes out on top? Check out the match below:
Thoughts: This is what we should be getting on Raw every week, especially considering Raw currently has the only Divas title in WWE. This is the best I’ve seen Melina in quite some time. She seems to have honed her moveset and everything looks a lot cleaner than it has in the past; Not to mention her team chemistry with Alicia was very strong.
Speaking of Alicia, I was also impressed with her in this match. Like Melina, Alicia has had the misfortune of being pretty sloppy at times, but I found that she was on point tonight. Hopefully, this can carry over to her new home of Smackdown.
As always, Natalya was impressive in the ring, playing her role of ‘Babyface in distress’ to a tee. The most memorable moment of hers in this match had to be her backroll into a kip-up. Wonderful. I’m also hoping for big things from Natalya as she make her way to the blue brand.
Natalya’s partner, Gail played her role as the hot tag very well. I’ve been a big fan of Gail and Alicia’s work together, so it was great to see them facing off again.
All in all, a very solid match from all involved, which is fitting since it may be quite some time until we see this particular combination of Divas in the same match again. I hope WWE take note and replicates this kind of Diva action on their main shows.

Can I just say: I am REALLY happy that Melina actually did something in her entrance tonight. Because she’s just been running to the ring lately (time constraints and all that..) and it made me really happy to see her do the entrances that i love.
…yes, that had nothing to do with the match, but you have no idea how happy I was. I missed that entrance!
…now I’m gonna watch the match. Excuse me. lol
Pretty good match. I feel that Nattie could very well be the break-out diva for this generation if they used her properly. She has the powerhouse persona and can be a monster as a heel (Like her debut against K2), but here she can sell great and be a babyface in peril and make her opponents look like a legit threat.
Gail has the energy and the passion to REALLY make the fans get behind her. You look at the rest of the divas, only she can do aerial, lucha-esque techniques. Springboard attacks, corner body attack, missle dropkicks, etc.
Melina and Alicia did well, I’m always impressed at Alicia’s bridges during her Northern Lights Suplex. The kneeling Dragon Sleeper that Melina did was also impressive.
Now, if we can only get matches like THIS on a consistent basis as opposed to Michael Cole segments taking up time each week….
Gail Kim looked hot in her new attire, the Canadian duos of Gail and Nattie. Gail was barely in the match, got the hot tag, the fans were behind her. Gail stole the show once again. I don’t see her getting a push, we saw the backstage incident with her, Eve, Nattie, and Tamina, which led to no where, I don’t see Gail getting a push, I don’t get why she is not getting the Divas Title.
Really good match :).I love Superstars because the Diva matches always garner a great reaction from the crowds
great match.. but imo the mix tag match tyson/melina vs gail/daniel was still the best match ive seen on superstar.

i love scott standford!, he’s a good color commentator and he knows how sell the wrestlers, he can replace that POS cole any day, any time.
ps, that yakuza kick to split by melina was freaking awesome.
Ugh, what an awesome match, shame we cant see these kind of matches on RAW ….. which it had more storyline to .. im sooo over just seeing heels vs faces in random matches that make no sence =S

Melina & Alicia def did great tonight they werent sloppy like they have been recently. Like i said before Melina’s is one of the divas who hones her movesets every once in a while , I dont know about anyone else but melina brings something new to the ring almost every time. The dragon slepper was amazing , One day I hope we get a Submission match Natalya vs Melina or Gail. That match would amazing. Gail’s Christo , Melina’s California Dream , Natalya’s SharpShooter. What were people talking about in Superstars Sentiments last night, how were ANY of these women sloppy?
Really good match, all four of them had an impressive showing. Alicia was able to hang with and look on the same level as the three vets, which I think she should be proud of. Her selling is beautiful, only low point was the Eat Defeat.
I missed the match, but it sounds good. Is it on youtube? My psycho christian uncle has blocked youtube(with most everything else ugh!) with some K9 crap – I have youtube on my phone though. :)

The match was good, very entertaining, which begs the question; Why the hell are these divas not competing on RAW?
All of them are beautiful, they bust out new moves, they’re hard hitting and the fans love them. So wtf is the problem WWE?
I expect this to change when Kharma arrives on the scene, I cannot wait to see the division pick up again.
I agree with you Steven if the WWE could let us have more time with the Divas despite the amount of time we get on RAW/SD. If the crowd could be at least alittle into a divas match on RAW/SD.
Can Alicia Fox get some new ring attire. I really pray that Gail Kim becomes Divas Champion really depends on what the divas look like after Extreme Rules?
I’m extra happy to see Gail scoring for her team she is misused in WWE BUT hopefully it will change soon..

I didn’t like the match, I mean Its like to me an old Face vs Heel. But overall I think Gail looked stunning that night.
BEST PART: THAT ENTRANCE OF MELINA AND ALICIA FOX! MY GAWD, MY FREAKUM DRESS FOX AND THE WAY SHE MOVES! I NEED A FAN TO COOL ME DOWN, CUZ FOXY IS HAWT! (just lose the red weave, though).

I really liked this match. I disagree about the posts yesterday of any of the competitors being sloppy. I liked the match and if they ever need a new heel team to take charge, it has to be Melina & A. Fox
Didn’t care for the match. Their was a few good spots, but it was generic.
I don’t recall Melina being sloppy in any of her last four or five superstars tag matches or taking bumps for extremely green Tamina. Prior to that on RAW I guess an actual WRESTLER does look a little bad tryng to execute in a 2 minute match that generally involves 6 to 8 people jumping up and down squealing. (About a minute of that is usually Eve trying to get her footing set right before a backflip)

I loved that match Melina. Gail, Alicia, and Natalya all rocked it. There was no botches no anything wrong !!!!!!!! And the current champion is Brie….. put 1 of thes fine wrestlers as champion !!!! But u know Nattie and A-Fox r going 2 SD soo their not gonna win a title soon sadly :( I liked Alicias attire.
Great match just wish the WWE would notice these more talented females n the crowd reactions and actually gave them more time on raw and smackdown like they do with Superstars. at least a good 5min or something not like the less then 2 min. matches. But overall GREAT match and all the females shined in there parts =)
