Extreme Rules 2011: Michelle McGone from WWE?, Kharma Arrives

The battle of the former BFFs led to one ousting the other in a Loser Leaves WWE match.

It was Layla, always the underdog in LayCool, that picked up the biggest victory of her career by defeating her long-time BFF, Michelle McCool and forcing her out of WWE.

Following a brutal physical brawl, Layla managed to roll-up Michelle for the win, thus ending the first ever Divas Champion’s career in WWE.

Adding insult the injury, the former Awesome Kong debuted as Kharma, hitting an Implant Buster on the outgoing McCool and sending a message to the entire Divas lockerroom.

As the reign of McCool ends, the era of Kharma begins…

I’m so happy Karma is here and glad she destroyed McCool. I hope Michelle starts a family in a few months when she’s healed. I honestly think she will.

  • Saracasey

@Mikas unfortunately not.Michelle is #3 trending topic global and Kharma is not even trending in the USA

Im gonna miss Michelle , but Im glad she is taking this break and I really hope she comes back , alho I would love for her to return as a face , I rather her stay heel. But none the less Kong is finally here baby! I loved it and I cant wait to see what happens next.

Layla finally got her moment to shine , this was indeed Layla’s 2nd biggest carrer victory , her 1st was her pinfall over Melina on SD last year.

too bad you know what kharma do to a doll.

mccool face was really heartbreaking though.. i felt it.

The match was good, but the crowd was so dead. But to b honest the crowd was like dead the whole night. But damn. Kong could truly put these skinny bitches to shame. She is hot. Like 4 real. She sexy. Didn’t know she could look like that. Kudos wwe. That shut was awsome.

awesome match, awesome debut and eveyrthing was perfect for the divas, and i liked how they showed the divas in the locker room and the looks on there faces and all that, so it was good :)

Taylor, Yeah–Nothing against that, I’m just saying move Legends don’t go out with a win! don’t matter if they need it or not.

  • GlamSlamFan

As a diva (actually has any wrestler for that matter), ever made a debut on a PPV before?

  • Matt

I’m gonna miss Michelle. Hope she and Undertaker have a great retired life.

  • Lita6915

I’m happy for Layla.. but i cried when Michelle lost. She was my favorite Diva, i’m gonna miss her SO much <3

Michelle will be back SummerSlam 2011 , when Taker returns ( Hopefully). Now Im siked to see Kong vs Michelle

  • Kellybug

Best night ever! Not only did McCool get beat and then get creamed by Kong, but Christian finally won the belt! *is happy and is dancing around*

  • Taylor

    Samtherofl,

I disagree. I think it’s best for future legends to leave with a win; it’s just a sign of respect. I think they should put new talent over while they approach their final match — much like Trish did with Mickie at WM 22. In addition, from what I’ve read, Vince wanted Trish to go out in style in her hometown and as champion.

    @JuicyJuiceBox: Thanks!

Still, its pretty cool for a diva to debut on a PPV!

  • melina prez

Omg this is soo sad but happy idk it just feels weird with Michelle gone and Kong in Wwe.

  • mikeparis18

All the divas looked so insignificant next to Kharma, so excited! I hope they don’t squash Gail first on Monday…

  • perucho1990

Finally, the divas division is interesting again, first time since Lita/Trish retired.

    Real change is happening now!

  • Fartycow

oh ya’ll….Michelle’s thunder was stolen by Osama bin laden :(

  • Kharmaofficialfansite

anyone not know that extreme rules was in michelle hometown?

I liked the match, it was more of a brawl than a wrestling match, and it had a lot of emotion, which was awesome, unfortunately, I didn’t want to see Kharma debut tonight, as I felt she’d steal Michelle’s thunder, but damn! She put all of the divas on notice! I liked how WWE also included the other divas in the segment before and after the match, it was a real show of continuity and WWE actually got something right diva-wise for once. I’m excited to see the possibilities of where Kharma can go…she can fight Beth, Gail, Nattie, the Bellas, the dynamic of the WWE Divas division has changed, and for the better I hope! Also, desirulez.net has the whole PPV up on their site (:

I feel we moving into a NEW ERA with Kharma here…Look out “Divas”

  • Lily

MIchelle will be back as a face and defeat Kong. I think her final run will be as a face which is good.

I have mixed emotions right now. I’m sad that McGod is gone but i’m happy Kharma finally debut but right now i think i’m going to go with sad since McCool is my all time favorite and seeing her cry was just sad. Also, at least the crowd said goodbye to her that means she got a crowd reaction. Also for most of the match the crowd did react but they didn’t react to either entrances.

I’m sad to see Michelle go, Everyone knows what she’s done for the company, and one of their most talented divas will be gone for a little while, which is a shame. Normally this would be an opportunity for another rising Diva to take the spot as the number one heel, but with Kharma debuting, I don’t believe this will come into fruitation.
