TMZ Offers Up Details on Major Former WWE Name in TNA

TMZ has details on former WWE star, Chyna joining TNA.

The website reports that Chyna has not signed a contract with the company but is appearing on a pay-per-per appearance basis.

The article notes that she is working on a “handshake deal with a very, very short leash.”

She is scheduled to appear over the next three works but beyond that is up in the air.

Interestingly, it’s reported that she’s been offered a contract from Japan’s Inoki Genome Federation on the heels of her joining TNA.

If she wrestles in June i see Mickie dropping the KO title to her.

so for only three weeks, that means she will work until the PPV, and then maybe the next tapings and that is it, lol, but i agree with @darkangels, its pretty much for a quick pay check and get herself back in the spot light lol
But hopefully she will not sign with the other company and sign with TNA or dare i say WWE (like that will ever happen lol)

Based on what happened with Jeff Hardy I don’t think TNA would risk putting a belt on Chyna. If they are bringing her in as Kurt’s mistress, for the time being she may only work with Karen & Jeff. If TNA only plans on using her for a short time period, IMO smartest thing they can do is use her to put over Isis.

My inner fangirl is begging to see Chyna back on a wrestling basis… I hope she’s around for a few months at least. A Living Wonder .com is reporting that TNA officials are very impressed by Chyna’s work ethic by getting back into shape and training for her PPV match.
Does anybody else want to see her whip out the old black leather and diamonds?

the pay per appearance deal makes sense. love chyna, always one of my favourites when i was growing up, possibly even one of my first “loves” in wrestling. i feel like a bad fan but a part of me hopes that this tna deal isn’t a long term thing.. i guess i just don’t want her over-exposing herself to the point where people are more critical bout her than they are already?? anyway, hope it goes well and can’t wait for next week :)

To be honest you can’t really blame TNA for trying to becareful. Chyna already burned them once back in 2004 when she was supposed to debut and pulled a no show or pulled out of the appearance at the last minute (can’t remember which). Plus with her track record over the last ten years I think this is their way of making sure it works out for all parties involved. As well as Chyna probably wanting to make sure being back in wrestling is something she even wants to do? She has stated for years that her wrestling days were over so maybe she is trying to decide if this is something she even is willing to be involved with again?

It would kinda tarnish the whole Mistress thing , if she is only here for 3 weeks. Unless they continue it after the PPV , but only have Chyna appear every once in a while. While not under contract for some quick cash…but if she did get signed how long would this mistress thing last ne wayz ? 2 months then she heads for the Knockouts Division….

Why is she being called a “mistress” it sounds so sexual, and ewww no offense to anyone, but, that is the last thing I want to think about when seeing Chyna. She should be getting called something else, not his ‘mistress’ .. considering shes there for a bodyguard kinda role, is she not?

TMZ is reporting on wrestling quite a bit these days it seems like. They offered details that we hadn’t heard yet, which is a first I think haha.
No matter how long she is in TNA, I can’t wait to see her back in wrestling. Whether she is in TNA for a year or just this PPV appearance, I’m fine either way. It’s just good to see her back.

like i said before. TNA is full of short term plan and cheap pop. tna is just trying to answer wwe kharma debut. lol in 3 or so weeks chyna will dissapear while kharma is here to stay making big names and big buck for wwe.
tna never learn.

i hope she stays quite a while not long term but definately a few months in which she can build a feud with tara – cus i really want to see that match.
on another note totally off topic i read a macho man interview (over on ‘wrestling inc’) – in which he speaks of kissing stephanie mcmahon for old times sake and it brought back the stories to my mind again. lol
