Diva Dirt’s Eric is at the FWE show in Brooklyn, NY where TNA Knockouts Winter and Rosita will compete with Christy Hemme as special guest referee. Jillian was supposed to wrestle but backed out of the booking due to personal reasons.
Results below:
The show began with an announcement that Jillian Hall would not be in attendance. They played a message from Jillian apologizing for her absence but offered to sing a song. She began to sing “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears.
The crowd rudely boos and Winter comes out looking so fierce. Winter expresses disappointment at not facing Jillian since she travelled all that way to disgusting Brooklyn. She also said New York was like London but with no class. She announces that she has a replacement and its Rosita, coming out to the Mexican America theme and looking amazing. Absolutely gorgeous in person. Rosita says she is excited to face Winter again since she beat her for the tag belts. She announces that she has a special guest ref in order to prevent Winter from doing creepy stuff.
Christy Hemme comes out and promises to call it down the middle. She says she will prevent Winter from doing any shenanigans. Winter says “we will see about that” and the match is set for later tonight!
Winter def. Rosita. Rosita and Christy were very over as babyfaces. Winter tried to cheat numerous times throughout the match and got into an altercation with Christy due to her continuously pulling Rosita’s hair. Very over match and received an excellent pre main event spot.

I dont understand why Jillian would continue her gimmick she had in wwe ? Hmmmmm I guess maybe thats what people really know her for , her singing gimmick…BLAH! LOL

poor jill i hope she gets herself back in ring shape or just rests & tries again for a baby…i know shes known for her “singing” but if she left because she wanted to be taken serious why continue it now???..
maybe jillian is thinking twice about wrestling again, I’m sure she wants to have a baby, and wrestling again is not going to help her. If she really wants to have a baby, then she should wait at least a full year without wrestling

I’m actually happy Jillian kept the singing gimmick. She was great at it. It was the WWE’s fault for not utilizing her. She could have been a bigger heel with that gimmick & annoyed more fans by winning the DIVAS title/always singing post match.
I would bet money that the promotion asked Jillian to do the singing thing. A lot of indies use WWE/TNA gimmicks because its what the name is known for. For example, Serena uses her WWE character in WSU and Velvet Sky is often booked to use her Beautiful People character
