Another interview with WWE Diva, Kelly Kelly, from the E3 convention has been posted online.

In this interview, its confirmed that there will be a Divas Elimination Chamber in the upcoming WWE ’12 video game.

So they’re finally getting rid of some of those ridiculous restrictions they put on the divas in the previous games. Maybe that will finally shut up the guys that saw the divas in the game as useless and stop whining and crying to have them removed so whatever jobber of their choice could make the roster.

In fairness, and I say this through the strain of gritted teeth, Kelly is one of many girls who are seldom given the opportunity to cut a good promo.

Is Smackdown vs Raw 2011 even worth buying? I have the 2010 version, but I was gone to get the 2011 version soon.

You could actually access Elimination Chamber for Divas through the Match Creator feature in SvR11, but it was a little gimped because you still had to deal with the “only four playable women in a match” issue. Thus, there was no lock-out-and-release part, just four women in an elimination battle royal in the EC cage.
However, SvR11 was very good in the way of lifting restrictions on women’s match options. They can do everything besides the six-women variants (Championship Scramble is open proper), First Blood, and the Royal Rumble.
Unfortunately, this conflicts with this video because it doesn’t actually confirm HOW the Diva Elimination Chamber is in. It could be that it’s fixed proper with six-women and lock-out-releases…or it could be in a gimped version again. The interviewer, Tank, works for THQ as head community manager and is not a direct developer on the game, AFAIK, so he may not be privy to such info.
What this does do is confirm the return of the SvR11-level loose match restrictions, which is definitely a good thing. Still, I’m pushing to hopefully have them confirm six-women matches are back.

As far as it pertains to SvR10 vs SvR11, I’d say go for the latest one if you can find it at a discount, just because WWE12 is coming in November.

I wouldn’t if I were you.
- You can create a road to wrestlemania for divas
- You can’t have a 6 divas tag or elimination battle
- The mixed Tags disqualify you immediately if a superstar touches a diva if the ref gets to see it
- Online almost everyone is spamming 2 – 3 running moves so they can win cheaply and fast so its running flying knee or running body press that you can barely counter at all, hit, repeat, hit, repeat.
- Everyone is putting 100 attribute points at their caws so they can outdo everyone with less
- Did I mentioned online frustration?
- The pin fall system sucks so even if someone is technically DEAD, they can still kick out in no time till you get bored and disconnect so you can go do other stuff.
The only good thing offline is the universe and some of the create modes that gives you the chance to work on a championship and the fact that they included the Diva and the Womens Championships so you have one for each show.
Divas elimination chamber alone doesn’t do it for me in WWE12.
If they don’t get the chance to use Divas in the create a road to wrestlemania mode so we can have them feud with each other and create our own story and if we don’t get a customizeable plan so we can have our own brands and ppvs, then its a no buy for me.
They put more effort into Randy Ortons beard then the Divas in overall after all. -.-

…But Road to Wrestlmania is just a preset storyline featuring one (or two, in the case of that one year with Batista and Rey). There’s no real input from the player on how it’s constructed, or making your own story. RtWM is a moot point to me, and a lot of people, because unless the story is particularly spectacular, it’s just a means to an end of unlocking stuff.
What you’re talking about, fairly, is improvements to Create-A-Story.

A divas elimination chamber match in the game?Nice!I like how in the recent wrestling games,they let divas compete in almost every match type.I’m hoping that they’ll let divas compete in 6-diva battle royals and 6-diva tag team matches again like how they have before because the divas do compete in matches like that.Honestly,I would love to see divas compete in more tougher,extreme matchups.I know that that may never happen though because of the wwe not giving the divas a chance.But who knows,maybe they’ll let that happen.I mean,just because they’re women and just because they’re not like the male superstars doesn’t mean they’re not capable of competing in tougher,extreme matches.In the past,they’ve had divas compete in hardcore matches and streetfights.They even had them compete in table matches.Lets make it happen wwe.And lets also get the divas division back on top as well wwe,k?thats all that us diva fans want.

I dont think it has a lot to do with not giving them a chance its just a lot of women at the top of the divison are not that talented and if they are put in those types of matches they could really hurt themselves or end their career non kayfabe.
If they was gonna do elimination chamber, extreme and ladder matches with divas theyre about 4 years too late.

Wow! When was the last time one of the WWE Games had a Divas Elimination Chamber match? Last time I remember doing one was with Stacy, Trish, etc. in the game, it’s been SUCH a long time. But I can’t wait. i miss when the girls could do pretty much what the guys could do, it was fun because it’s boring when you’re restricted to only certain types of matches. (I might get this game now! :D) Also, I like Kelly’s personalities in single interviews. She can be playful and adorable and I like that. I think she’s a great girl outside the ring, tbh. She’s very young and “cute” and that, IMO makes her pretty likable. Plus she looks great, I love when she wears her hair in that style, she looks very mature.

The last time an Elimination Chamber match featured women was the first SVR (that featured Trish, Stacy, Torrie, Sable, Molly and Victoria). It’s such a fresh breath of air to see that THQ are finally lifting restrictions on the Divas

No, Cory Ledesma was referring to inter-gender matches being the restrictions.
The guy that interviewed Kelly Kelly was a worker for THQ, so I highly doubt he’d promote something that doesn’t exist.
