Raw’s Vickie Guerrero is interviewed on WWE.com talking about her recent storyline which sees her creating a “super stable” of sorts, managing various Superstars including Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.
Vickie is asked if there’s anyone she’d like to lend her managerial services to, Vickie responds by suggesting the Divas of Doom — Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
She says:
Well, definitely Beth Phoenix & Natalya would be a top asset if I were going to build a stable. They are the strongest Divas out there and I certainly don’t want to be against them. Believe me, I have felt the wrath of The Glamazon before and that is not something I want to experience again.

Thoughts: Having managed LayCool in the past, Vickie definitely could add something to the Divas division. I found her work with LayCool and Mickie James to be interesting. Perhaps with Vickie behind them, the Divas of Doom could get a real push behind them. Vickie, of course, has history with Kelly Kelly too, so that’d add another crease that could be explored in a storyline.

Well that would be refreshing to have the top Heel Vickie manage the Diva’s of Doom and it would be nice to see Vickie work along side Beth given their History.And it would promote more Victorys for Beth and Natalya.I myself likethe idea. To see instead of Beth having not worry about what sort of stuff could come against her an Vickie it would be all on the positive side for Beth and Natalya.And Beth and Natalya would be gettin the respect they deserve.I can’t think of a better manager for Diva’s of Doom who pattern themselves after the legion of Doom who they themselves had a manager.Beth and Natalya need a manager ..And the best is Vickie who could make life hell for Kelly Kelly and Eve.
If it happens the WWE will still do nothing with it. DOD doesn’t even need Vickie, they’re already over. The WWE just need to stop pushing Kelly and send her down to NXT back on Extreme Expose duty, which she wasn’t good at either with her botching taking off her bra.

Yes !. I’ve been saying it since the start ,this should happen .Vickie working with the divas will not only get DOD over as heels but DOD will get more time invested into them ,which they really need atm.
I love Vickie & DOD but together? Not so much, DOD can get over by themselves & really don’t need a manager. As for LayCool/Vickie, they actually brought Vickie’s heat down & if you notice Vickie would get great heat & then McCool’s music hits, CRICKETS.

agreed. vickie is great at doing what she’s doing now, pairing her up with DoD would be a classic case of wwe over-exposing their talent. i’m pretty sure that if neither kelly nor DoD were on both main shows every single week, nowhere near as many people as they are now would be bored of this feud. wwe did the same with kharma, too, having her show up ALL the time killed that storyline before it even started tbh and also with lay-cool.. overexposing that pairing made people tired of them!
having vickie on screen more than she is already? people wouldn’t love to hate her anymore.. they’d just get tired of her.
beth and natalya not only can more than hold their own in the ring but they’re also pretty decent on the microphone! they don’t need vickie to be popular heels – they need wwe to actually do something with them. where is the doom?
vickie is great for comic relief, which is definitely what she added to lay-cool, DoD need to be as far from funny as possible.

Agreed! The problem isn’t having a manager, but more with management not letting the Doom come through from DOD. I wouldn’t mind a segment with Vickie trying recruit Beth & Nattie & they deny her services lol that’d be pretty bad-ass of them :p

Yeah DOD dosent need Vickie to get them over , but who cares its not about getting them over more than they already are. Its about entertainment and some damn light in this dry ass divas division. I think Vickie managing DOD would be awesome , she can help them win the title just like they did with Lay-Cool ! DOD plus Ziggler…just awesome they could run raw and sd and plus we could probably see DOD more than once a night.
I really cant give a valid reason why Vickie managing them would be good , but its just damn fun and fun is what we need in this divison…..Vickie for DOD manager make it HAPPEN!!!!
The DoD need Vickie. They’re great workers and decent promos, but they’ve been babyfaces for so long they are having a hard time getting any heat. An alliance with Vickie will ensure that the crowds know that they’re the villains.

The DOD needs more time to talk, not Vickie. They are both great on the mic.
Swagger and Ziggler are boring and need Vickie to get over, but Beth and Nattie really don’t.
More than anything, DoD just need WWE to actually give them something to do. They’re more than capable both in the ring and on the mic, and they would be 10000x more over if they could just do their thing and back up the “Doom” portion of their name.
That being say, Vickie managing DoD would certainly be interesting.

Kelly was an awful stripper man…Christy Hemme gave some sexy dances and Candice and Tessmacher do awesome stripteases and real enthustiastic!!!! They love their fans..Kelly just looks like a slag..

Vickie will deff put DOD over, problem is if WWE will allow it with even Vickie Guerrero backing them, after all its Vinces world, I personally LOVE Vickie Man!! She rocks!! But this isn’t smackdown where she got more time and less talk from HHH n CM Punk…those two love to hear themselves talk..and take a long time to do it huh,
WWE should also consider pushing MORE divas in a subplot sort of way

I think Vickie would be wonderful management for DOD.
She’s steadily becoming a female Bobby Heenan.
Not quite as good on the mic, but man does Vickie make people who lack charisma look great.

I saw the same thing – her stable of wrestlers is very Heenan Family-esque (even without the Ziggler/Mr. Perfect comparisons ;)).
I don’t necessarily think that the they need Vickie as a manager but it wouldn’t hurt to have some mutual cooporation – maybe similar to how Sarita and Rosita are to Mexican America (maybe not exactly – but you get the idea).
They can strengthen the group, sure, but also do their own thing.
i wouldnt mind, vickie is hands down the most over heel in wwe today. she could get anyone over, i mean it worked for kaitlyn on NXT! even laycool. her work with laycool was great, they were very entertaining as a trio. laycool had the personalities and it worked for them.
working with DOD wouldnt hurt!

Laycool & Vickie didn’t work. Vickie would get massive heat, announced LayCool & you could hear dead silence. Vickie really just out-shined Laycool, in getting a reaction. Granted Vickie/Dolph has worked out amazing well, as did Kaitlyn/Vickie as that got Kaitlyn over huge.
This needs to happen! Immediately. WWE, book it!
