Former WWE star and current talent scout, Sean Waltman (X-Pac) has revealed that WWE was “not interested” in AAA star Faby Apache, who he recommended to the company recently.
Waltman currently works as a talent scout for WWE, recommending talent to join the company’s developmental league, FCW.
He told PWTorch: “She is the best female worker I’ve seen in maybe the last ten years. It’s just that she’s a little bottom heavy like a lot of the girls down in Mexico that doesn’t fit in with the look WWE is looking for with the Divas division, unfortunately. In terms of in-ring talent, she can go with anyone. I put in a word for her, but they weren’t interested in her.”
Faby and sister Mari Apache currently work for AAA in Mexico.

Beth was lucky to get called up just before the WWE strickly focused on model Divas. Trish and Lita were still around and the WWE was still serious with the Women’s division. This also goes for Natalya, who made it just under the wire. The DOD are all that’s left of a begone era when the WWE actually cared.

Naomi is not bottom heavy. Her legs are fit and all muscle. She just has a big booty, however that’s just a trait for most Black women.
Faby Apache bottom heavy looks more like fat than muscle. Her age is probably a factor as well.

Other than that I wouldn’t pursue a FCW/WWE career for now if I were you.
Better start in other promotions in which you will be respected and appreaciated as a person and as a wrestler.
Maybe we are all lucky and WWE changes its ways in a few years when Vince and Johnny are out of the picture(hopefully!!).

When I heard this news I was a bit sadden from it because I feel that the WWE is trying too hard on “their type” of Diva that should be in the WWE.If we see more “anti-Divas” in the WWE and stop trying to build a division all around looks instead of hardworking women in the WWE then I think the division will be decent.
Faby Apache is a talented wrestler,there are so many good luchadora female wrestlers out there that deserve a shot in the WWE. I don’t get WWE and their way of finding their divas?

2) Seeing how there are currently several superstars and a diva that worked and in most cases made a name for themselves in the Spanish wrestling scene around the world is it possible that the reason the WWE is not interested in her stems from their belief that at the present moment they do not need any new hires to either maintain and/or grow their following in national & international Spanish communities?

Sexy Star didn’t get hired by WWE,when she has tryout for the WWE and was told by that brainless Muppet that she wasn’t pretty enough to be on WWE Roster. Guys from Mexico gets hired by WWE,but the women can not be hired by WWE,cause either they are not pretty enough to be a Diva or they have a give me a whoop break. Shouldn’t they practice on what they preach on bullying? If Little Jimmy wants to be on Garbiella’s team to play volleyball and Gabriella tells Little Jimmy that he can’t be apart of her team,cause he is a bit chubby,isn’t that what is going on here with Faby that she was told that they are not interested in her,cause seriously Faby can toe to toe with the best of them. I was hoping that WWE would hire Faby Apache.X-Pac should commended for trying to hire this lady wrestler from Mexico and see this is how a talent scout goes out and seeks talent and not look at a modeling catalog when it comes to hiring the Divas.

- Raquel Diaz is Eddies Daughter and very young
- Audrey Marie was a model and is not as heavy as it looks like
- Kaitlyn isn’t heavy and she was all muscle when she came in the WWE,
they asked her to tone down the muscles to fit in and she did.
Her attires make her looks bigger than she is partially.
- Leah is also young and not really heavy
- Maxine isn’t heavy at all
- Beth is not heavy either, she is muscular
- Nattie was heavy when she came in FCW but took the weight down and has the most athletic physique her body allows her.
- Kharma is the only one thats really heavy but WWE overlooks it because she is already very famous and they know they can make lots of money with her
Faby is obviously too old for wwes standard entries and her small belly and lower bottom are not attractive enough for wwe standards. -.-
I really miss the days of the old WWF, I can only say Glamour Girls, Bertha Faye among many other females that came in any shape or form.
Also all the japanese girls from WCW back then.
Nowadays the only real difference between most of the girls is the color of their hair or skin and thats it.
So having Beth, Natalya, Kharma, Tamina and Kaitlyn is a treat.

Check pictures of her frontal and you will see that she is much wider with thicker thights and bottom then maxine.
That’s why she poses sideways in most of her pictures.
The only part that looks like maxine is her head and a little her abdomen.

Natalya and Kaitlyn aren’t exactly size zero but they’ve had no problems with that. Stupid considering the current Divas storyline. They should try to capitalize on it, rather than being so inconsistent with it.

Natalyas and Kaitlyns bodies are symmetric, check frontal pictures of Faby on the web and you will see the difference.
Natalya used to be heavy in her beginnings but lost lots of weight.
She is also a third generation Diva so they made exceptions.
Kaitlyn was a bodybuilder and very muscled till wwe asked her to tone down the muscles which she did.
She looks heavier than she is with the new attire she currently wears cause the bottom is like the oversized trunks the males are wearing (so nothing will flip out and they can wear normal underwear under them).
Her tops are also bigger than the previous attires she had because she got tired trying to hide the puppies that wanted to break free mid match the whole time. :p

I wouldn’t call her fat, they probably don’t want her because she’s not a Hollywood beauty. Also over 30, but her career has been going forever so they’ve had plenty of opportunity. At this point in time, no one should be surprised. WWE has a set mentality on who they want in their company, male and female alike. They normally are relatively unkown, and for the guys (are big) or the gals (are model-like). There are exceptions, just like with every rule/idea, but in general, its a waste of time to truly expect any well-known indie star (or even moderately well-known) to make it into the WWE.

Let’s be honest here, Fabby does not have the kind of appeal/look or presence that can be easily marketed in North America and maybe the rest of the world.
