Batting for Team DD this week, it’s Steven giving us his personal opinion on this week’s topic:
Steven | For most Diva fans, I think the most obvious choice would be Trish Stratus, one of the most popular Divas of all-time, but my choice would have to be Michelle McCool. In my opinion, McCool is one of the most athletically gifted Divas to hold the Women’s championship and the division has really missed her since her retirement.
A close second would be Molly Holly, who is also one of the most talented Divas in WWE history. I don’t think she ever got as much shine in WWE as she deserved, so I would love to see her return and achieve that level of stardom.

| Jesus A. Santiago Feliciano | On the basis that the storyline of the DOD is to eliminate the “Barbie” divas and make them cry, I would like to see Candice Michelle return because she fits the “Barbie” mold that DOD are talking about, but with the charisma and attitude to take them out. |
| Josue Guzman | I would LOVE to for it to be Bull Nakano! Beth and Bull Nakano would put on one hell of a match! A match so good that it wouldn’t be able to last the normal two-three minutes matches we’ve gotten so used to seeing. This can be the female verision of Rock vs Cena (Generation vs. Generation) I can picture this build up with both women claiming to be more superior than the other. Each having several matches against the other Divas to show their skills until finally facing off. |
| @Miss_Diesel | While everyone is reaching for those Women’s Champions that everyone loved dearly, I am pulling that the rumor is in fact the woman that has the–I don’t know if it is–honor to have been the final Women’s Champion in the company, Layla. Her presence in the WWE has been missed greatly since her injury. I honestly hope that is who this rumor is pertaining to and not to a return of a Trish or any other Diva of yesteryear. |

See the thing is you don’t know that for sure, and until you show proof no one is going to believe you…., this is Divadirt and as a proud fan i know for sure that they wouldn’t post anything on here without verifying it first from other reliable sites.

Theres so many greats! But if i had to choose id say, Lita bcuz shes deserve a proper run!! Another choice would be Candice Michelle could get another shot, some revenge on Beth that she never got!! And then Layla would be cool to, cant wait for her to return!!

Yeah I don’t know you guys (Diva Dirt) keep on pushing this rumor. The only reason it’s ‘swirling’ is because you and several ‘copy & paste’ sites have been perpetuating it. You don’t have to kill the rumor, but at least say that it lacks all credibility at this time. All you’re doing is hyping up people for nothing, only to get them disappointed.
If it were just ‘this rumor is most likely not true, but just for fun, which women’s champion would you like to return?’ then there really wouldn’t be any issue here.
In which case I’ll go with Jazz or Ivory, since I felt they deserved better title reigns than what they were given.

As I said in another thread, it’s one of those “safe bet” sort of things.
Undertaker’s doing his farewell match at WM, so Michelle will be around.
They’ll be doing another season of Tough Enough, so Trish will be around.
Beth & Nattie have been lobbying for a WM match with Trish & Lita.
Jacqueline just left TNA.
They’ve been talking with Brock, and if he returns, Sable will be around.
So, chances are, [i]one[/i] of the former Women’s Champions will be there.

Hmmm….well it could all be a coincidence I suppose,but it’s kind of mysterious that it surfaced during the time Lita tweeted about filming footage for WWE. I guess alot of us Lita fans can keep on dreaming huh? Lita returning is not out of the realm of possibility. She has IN FACT stated several times that she has a good relationship with WWE and would not mind coming back for a storyline or an appearance as long as she doesn’t have to do the regular work schedule, which to me; is understandable. It seems like everyone who retires and comesback for a season or two, has the same issue and I don’t blame them.
So yes, if it’s all true (which I’m aware people are saying it’s not), then my pick is the Queen of Xtreme, Lita. She was the best in my opinion. Everything else was vanilla bland…until she came into the picture. She’s abit of everything and unpredictable – she’s awesome. Lita, if you read Diva Dirt as many women of wrestling do….comeback! Please ;)

I have several lol, but the most obvious one for me would be Lita.. other than her I would have to say Jazz, Molly, Victoria, or Sable would be interesting. :)

Layla is a possibility, but I’m hoping not. Candice is not very likely, considering her little girl. I think Trish is a bit too busy with “Stratusphere”. I really don’t see Chyna coming back to the WWE anytime soon. Jazz is signed under Women Superstars Uncensored (same as Melina, right?). Molly Holly got married last year, and I think she’s going to try for a baby soon, if she isn’t already. Victoria/Tara seems pretty content at TNA. Sable had her second child last year. Jacqueline’s TNA contract expired recently, but she’s more likely to re-sign with TNA than return to WWE. With Stone Cold being on such good terms with WWE, I’d say Debra’s a no go. Ivory is retired, but was last seen in Women Superstars Uncensored, where she was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
I’m crossing my fingers for Lita, and logically, she’s the one most likely to return. WWE’s been “courting” her to come back for a bit now, so she’s been in talks with them. She’s been training, not only on her own, but recently with Eve. Beth’s been talking about wanting a match with her as her dream match lately. On her radio show, she recently had Punk as a guest. She also met with WWE Studios a few days ago. Besides, other than Punkrockalypse and a Halloween commercial, what has she been doing lately? I would say prepping for her return.
