Diva Dirt editors, Melanie and Steven offer their take on how each of the ladies have fared this past year and gave them a grade between ‘A’ and ‘F’.

Personally, I’ve loved TNA this year. There’s been some great storylines. Some are hit and miss… i’ll admit that, but overall I think it’s been a nice year for the Knockouts.

Brooke Tessmacher – C-
Christy Hemme – Hasn’t really done anything, bar interviews & ring announcing. So I can’t really grade her haha.

The Knockouts definately had an awesome year! Although I would of wanted a Sarita title reign I am satisfied with the champions we did get this year. The only thing I did not like were all the quick title changes, hopefully the hot patato days are over

Knckouts did so great with loosing Awesome Kong Hamada Taylor Wilde Roxxi and ODB n tara at some point too!

The “Hot Potato” with Winter n Mickie was great in my opinion! the matches were just awesome and IDK maybe its me and the Impact Zone pple who jump off their seats when Mickie wins!! But I truly love Mickie! Some really great series of matches backing up the Title Switches..hey it happens =D
Ive said it before i HATE when Madison wrestles but i love her character! Prom Queen or homecoming queen whatever..lets call her HQ for short
Shes a very entertaining character and the suck up Madi role was funny as hell! Also Karen she did great I hated how she gets in ppls faces and YELLS damnn…!!!! I guess I hate women like that lol..but props to Karen for getting herself over as a bitch n for taking on Chyna!! =D
My fave of the year have to be Velvet Sky and Mickie James!
Dont forget that last year the Knockouts had become stale due to the BP vs BP storyline all summer long which was pretty brutal
So hats off to all the ladies in TNA for picking up the slack growing moving on and getting better with what little they had now are back on top!!

Just some explanation so it’s not just a random list…
Brooke above the rest of the “meh” field because everywhere on the web where wrestling is discussed she has gained fans by not being a flop in the ring. Not a breakout because she hasn’t been given a lot to do but wrestling fans everywhere did a 180 on her this year and that’s pretty impressive in itself and sets her up well for the future.
Likewise, ODB below the rest because for the short time she was around this year she was used as a jobber tool for others. Only recently has she been given anything mildly interesting to do and it’s too little too late to impact her ranking.
Gail might be a little high for someone who hasn’t even been there two months, but she’s such an important part of the division historically and she’s made such a massive positive impact in such a short period of time I feel like she deserves it. If she’d been back longer it would be an easy A for me.

I hope 2012 features alot more Angelina, Winter, and Tara. Im so over Mickie always being in the spotlight no disrespect but she does nothing for me.

Toxxin an Christy really screwed up the TNA Knockouts GPA haha without them the Knockouts would of been graduating on the Honor Roll lol with a solid 3.0 B- average!!
