I am glad people were aware l her background story, honestly I didn’t even know it. But she deserves it! Congrats to Rosita on being the only woman to win that award!
Candice Michelle is the only woman to won most improve wrestler in 2007 (Kelly Kelly was 1st runner up for 2011 and Trish for 2002) and Madusa was the only woman to win rookie of the year I’m 1988! (Tamina was 1st runner up 2010).
Oh and congrats to Mickie for winning woman of the year!
*win
Really, really like this girl and TNA is stupid if they don’t capitalise on the fact people resonate with her stirring background. Hopefully this year Rosita, along with Brooke, take major leaps forward and shuffle up the ranks in the division. Hell, Rosita could be the face nemesis of a heel Brooke one day.
There stupid that they dont capitalize of the fact she looks like Trish Stratus. If she goes blonde then my god lol. She looks like Trish and has the a move set more like Lita but honestly i see her in WWE by 2013 she has the look the everything they would want

Who knows, she might switch brands considering the fact that TNA is not using her well. She could have become TNA’s version of a latina Kelly Kelly. She has the look, she is young, she has an amazing chance of improving. Coincedentally she was almost K2′s age when she debuted.
congrats..i hope this year is big for her…shes got one hell of a personality plus the girl can wrestle…
Congrats for her. Hope she has an amazing future ahead of her whether its for TNA or some other brand. She has the charisma and the look to be successfull. Dont think that just cause she is short, doesnt mean she doesnt know how to fight.
This girl has got lots of potential.
P.S : Dont mind if I ask, but DD, where is this week’s RAW redux?

Naw she was on the raw live show being snobbish and somewhat rude to one of the callers as usual

that is my only problem with DD its a blog blogs is for ppl to share THERE opinions thoughts etc, well it started as a blog i think it has become more of a new site but when you have shows like DD live and ask ppl to call in with THERE opinion that is what there going to do the other day someone said BEth was manly and Chrissy was very nasty to them but that was there opinion why have a show for ppl to voice there opinion if you dont like the one they share

I really started to get tired with the BETH IS MANLY jokes. I mean come on…shes not manly, she has muscles, she is a really beautiful woman. When will thick headed people realize that. Next thing you know, people will start calling Val a buck tooth ugly troll (which she isnt by the way, even though I cant stand her)

I mean i agree i dont think she is either but im just saying that was someone opinion we all have them

@JAVIOUSMCKENZIE yeah i totally get what your saying. Though i usually like Cyssi’s reduxes, and her rants are hilarious, i think she doesnt know how to take constructive criticism. yeah some people that call in can be rude but there are some with valid opinions, and if they arent Cryssi’s opinons she ends up being rude to the caller. She just needs to be nicer and more tolerent.

Right ^
So glad she got this. She does indeed have a very inspirational story, love her. She really does deserve it. She has the charisma and ability to be something special.
<3 congrats to her. Did anyone else want TNA to turn her face for one night at No Surrender to face Winter for the Knockouts Title (considering that ppv was on 9/11 & the backstory could've been amazing!)?

Yes! I was thinking the exact same haha,
But why is she only wearing a bra though? Did they rush her out of the dressing room? Socal Val STILL has a job? I feel like im playing 21 questions, I mean Val coulda trained to be an actual wrestler by now or am i wrong? anyways CONGRATS to Rosita

IMO, I really cant stand Val. And you are right, she could have been training throughout the years to debut in the ring. Christy has done it. Christy was a wrestler first then an interviewer, Val was like an interviewer and announcer throughout her career.

I agree, even though i like Val, it’s still funny to me how she still has a job because they could just get Christy to do everything that she is doing, and save money on top of that, but i guess management i smitten by her. btw as long as she has been in the wrestling business, she coulda been somewhat of a decent wrestler by now had she trained

Well I think she’s choosen what she wants to do in wrestling. If she wanted to wrestle, I’m sure she would’ve been already.

True, but at the same time it doesnt make sense to pay two people, when one is not needed, and the other could do the same job and more, and TNA could always use more money

Oh I agree there, money could be more well-spent.
what is her background story btw? i don’t usually keep up with the knockouts..

Please correct me if I’m wrong, anyone,
Rosita was inspired to become a wrestler because of her Father, who she lost in the 9/11 attacks when she was a child. Her Father was an amateur wrestler but never did followed the art professionally.

that’s the story.
