Glad to see Tara picking up the win, although I’m a little bummed out that Gail’s winning streak has ended, she was almost at 10 in a row dammit xD

this is what I hope happens:They lose the Tag Team Championships to Mickie & Velvet leading to Gail turning face and feud with Madison.Then these feuds end up happening:
Tara & Tessmacher vs Winter & Angelina(Tara feuds with Winter for the Knockout’s Championship)
Mickie & Velvet vs Sarita & Rosita for the Tag Team Championships

it’ll be interesting to see the backstage segments leading to the match.
it could be a #1 contender match, with the winner (velvet) facing gail (who’s so gonna retain vs tara) at the next ppv? =/ iunno, it just seems too random for two faces to have a match if there’s no reason, especially as neither hold a title currently.

Go Tara! LOL Cant wait to see that match &Velvet vs Mickie. I dont mind Mickie losing twice in a week or taking the fall in the triple threat match. Mickie has always been built as a top competitor , and I rather Mickie take loses so nobody complains about her always winning or never being pinned. Plus to she can afford it , she hardly loses anyways.

Match started out as pretty much an arm wrench contest with it later picking up the pace, towards the end was a handful of finisher reversals before velvet got the pin. The only ‘botch’ was when mickie went to snapmare velvet but vel’s head went sideways rather than forwards but then the snapmare hit like a second after. So not really a botch more a minor miscommunication they can just edit out

The crowd were completely behind velvet were mickie was only get small cheers. And again, where I was the crowd were totally into the tara/gail match
The dickhead sat behind me shouting ‘you fucked up’ or ‘get your tits out’ every 30secs was very annoying though
Lovely day, got to meet hemme, dixie, velvet, madison and tara.. All very sweet, especially velvet and tara :)

nice to see velvet get a win over mickie, maybe pushing her as the top face behind tara? lol @ people not liking mickie losing a few matches and becoming a jobber. mickie being super cena in the division could only last so long. i definitely want her to turn heel, she could easily rip the crowd apart for liking velvet more for being trashy, etc. tara vs. gail should be amazing. nice to see gail take a loss here.

Mickie has NOT been super Cena. No one upset she losing and she no jobber. Mickie has lost many in TNA just wonder why face vs face. Like her or not Mickie is the top face unless she is going heel and a top knockout to me and few other the top knockout.

She certainly has been Cena imo until recently. She barely gets beaten cleanly, she has had the same character since late 2006, moveset can get stale at times. Granted since her debut in TNA she has seemed to have lit a fire under her ass. There were people above being upset about Mickie losing 2 matches in a row & people were begining to use the word jobber which I agree she isn’t. I was stating how it was funny that people throw a fit when Mickie isn’t on a winning streak.

dude what with the comparison kinda similar when people compare velvet sky to kelly people they are totally different but the only thing that mickie and cena have in common they are tough as hell ,and just because the moveset are repetitive that doesn’t make them stale a lots of veteran like to be original.

Velvet & Kelly aren’t comparable at all. Velvet’s worked her way up on the indies, Kelly was picked out of a catalog. Velvet has mic skills & can cut promos like no one’s business, we have no idea if Kelly can due to WWE never letting their face divas be anything but generic. Velvet can wrestle, not as well as the others but she can hold her own, while Kelly really needs to be pushed more as a wrestler & can be lazy. The hair color can be the only comparison there.

guys to all of a fairness if you really count mickie’s losing streak it based is pretty even mickie’s majority of losses is on ppv thank to someone interference weather it’s tara madison angelina…ect and the tag matches on show but the funny thing that this is the first time mickie lose cleanly.
in my opinion mickie should be in the tag picture with either velvet or tracy for while tara become in singles.
the majority would love to see mickie heel lets be honest,she proved how good of a heel she is on AAA but i think her popularity sorta hold her back.still we can hope tna to do it they did it with jeff hardy why not mickie

I never mentioned her being over with the crowd? They hardly ever get beaten & when they do it’s booked as an unclean finish. They’ve been in the title picture constantly. They’ve needed a heel turn for some time now. They can squash people like no one’s business. They’ve been booked as underdogs, but in reality are the opposite. Whenever Mickie’s in a match these days, I immediately expect her to win. Doesn’t that say something about her mega push on tv?

Who has Mickie squashed? If you compare Mickie push compare it to Michelle McCool. Again with the movset why change it if it works plus it called a movset for a reason.

She squashed the whole division in that gauntlet match. The other girls got offense, but she beat the whole division basically. She can have some of the same moves, but the same damn moves almost every time. That’s a BIG no no.

In 2 minutes? Uh, no you can’t put someone over in 2 minutes. How would it be possible for Mickie to beat all the girls even if they got offense in? It makes them look weak & a moveset does involve moves that repeat themselves, but movesets are supposed to evolve! Something Mickie has failed to do. If you’ve seen one Mickie match you’ve seen them all. She’s had matches with girls like Mia Yim & Mercedes Martinez & stepped up, I just don’t get why she doesn’t do this on a regular basis. Baffling.

I never blamed her personally. I don’t get how you put women over but still pin them in 2 minutes? Winter, Sarita, etc. already had credibility & didn’t need to be put over so them losing regardless if they offense in (in a 2 min. match) was useless. I think Mickie does rely on the same spots too much, but doesn’t get called out about it. Even someone like Velvet has evolved her moveset over the years, while Mickie really hasn’t.

Good to hear Velvet got a win over Mickie. Though I have a hard time believing that an entire crowd turned on Velvet during their match.
As for Tara vs Gail I’m glad Gail lost. Though it probably means Gail will retain at Against All Odds.

there was definitely no turning on velvet from what i could hear ! out of the kos, other than perhaps christy (when JB was hyping how beautiful she looked), sky was getting the biggest cheers
like i briefly mentioned above, though, i wouldn’t be surprised if the entire show is just canned heat/cheers. wrestling fans are rude and vulgar, all i kept hearing were swear words being shouted around all night.. even telling the cameramen to move the F out of the way.

Can you not read? People are saying it’s a heel turn because Mickie argued with the ref after the match, didn’t let go of the handshake and wasn’t acting happy with the fans after the match.

she may have acted that way due to having an off night.the only way we’ll know for sure that Mickie is turning heel is if she cheats her way into a win during her next match such as holding the tights,using the ropes for leverage,etc.

from what i remember, it was something like.. mickie went for the ddt, velvet reversed it and went for her pedigree-style ddt move, which mickie reversed.. and then somehow it ended with sky rolling mickie up, which i didn’t really see as i was a couple rows back and people have big heads in the way.

From what I remember. Mickie went for DDT, Velvet reversed and went for bulldog, Mickie reversed and went for a roll-up, Velvet reversed the roll up into another roll-up. I could be wrong because I couldn’t see the from their knees down a lot of the time. I was seated ramp-side.

Ah sounds…interesting. Sure it will look great on TV. I love both girls and always wondered how it would turn out. I must say thought, I am pretty surprised Vel got a louder pop then Mickie. Not a knock on Sky, just a little sup rising considering how over Mickie is everywhere.
When she came to Toronto three years ago when she was still with the WWE she had the loudest pop of the night and Edge and Mysterio were on the card as well.
