Congratulations are in order for WWE’s Kharma and and her fiancé as they welcomed a baby boy named Jamie on December 31st, TMZ reports.
Kharma, who returned to the ring at Sunday’s Royal Rumble — less than a month after giving birth — is already said to be training for her full time in-ring return.
Meanwhile, she is set to marry her fiancé in June.

I really don’t see Layla headlining the Divas match. Upon her return it will probably seem like a big deal, but then she will fall into wallpaper mode like Beth’s return in late 2010. I could see her getting some kind of Wrestlemania spotlight though since it’s her hometown… probably an in-ring segment or a dance segment, nothing more. I’m positive it’s Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma this year :)

I know it’s not popular what a say, but and i don’t want Beth vs. Kharma. I good match? Yes. But what has Kharma done to deserve a Wrestlemania match and the divas title? There are other divas working der ass of the whole year, but there spot was taken by a person who has one match for the wwe. I don’t have interest in month of Kharma squash everyone. Kharma for me is a reason don’t watch a divas divison anymore.

I would also rather like the following to happen:
- 4 way for the Divas championship between Beth, Natalya, Tamina Kaitlyn.
At the end of the match, Kharma appears and attacks all 4 OR goes after the winner cutting a promo like (as example)”Hold your title tight for as long as you can cause the next person you gonna have to defend it against will be me”.
Layla could make a special appearance leading her old dance troop as her return to get the crowd going.

No offense, but I couldn’t disagree with you more. When Kharma debuted EVERYONE got behind her, not just the diva fans. When her music hit she got a pop that could compete with main event superstars. Wrestling fans (not just diva fans) got annoyed when she didn’t come out. In that short period of time, Kharma brought life into the diva division. She made things she made the division relevant. Even Gail said it in her interview with Diva Dirt. She without a doubt deserves a match at Wrestlemania.

First off, I personally do not give a shit if Kharma is “deserving” of a WM title match or not. And if I did, I would simply refer back to her extensive body of work. From the time she scrubbed floors for wrestling training in Japan, to spending years perfecting her craft all around the globe, to gaining the respect of the likes of Aja Kong, no one would dare say this woman does not deserve a WM title match. Wrestling is in her blood. This is her passion, and she has worked her ass off to get to where she is. At this point in her career, she does NOT need to prove herself to anyone. So don’t give me your “the divas work so hard, they work their ass off” nonsense, because I can tell you she has worked harder than a good portion of the women on the current roster to get to where she (Nattie and Beth are excused from this, for obvious reasons). And on that note…
…this is Wrestlemania. Kharma is more over than the entire divas locker room COMBINED. With that said, who is the bigger draw? Hell, what would you rather see: Natalya or Layla enter the arena to silence, or Kharma coming out to the pop of the night? And who exactly will the crowd actually RESPOND to during the match? Do you really think ANY of the other women on the roster are eligible for the response that Kharma has already been getting?
Kharma’s been here for what… a total of 2 months, and she’s already more over than most of the guys that Vinnie and co. have been attempting to build up for several years now. How fucking sad is that? Kharma has more fucking star power than a good 75 percent of the entire roster. And you’re telling me she isn’t “deserving” of a one on one WM match simply because she did not “earn” it? Receipts please.
Anyway, I think at this point no one really gives a shit about whether or not a WM title match is something Kharma is deserving of. Everyone is so insanely behind a Kharma/Beth match because it would be one hell of a bout, it’s as simple as that.

I couldnt think of anyone more deserving than Kharma – and vince wouldve given her a WM billing either way. and with it being the biggest PPV the current divas division needs to show they can put on a very good/great match on the biggest stage of the all and only a handful of divas are capable of that and from them just a couple can offer a money making match inc superstar diva kharma, natalya and beth. hence why trish and snooki were at WM last year and not melina and k2.

Well WWE does want to make money and Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma will make more money than any Divas match they could come up with. This will prove the whole “women don’t draw” saying false.

I hope she can manage to make time for her new family despite the hectic schedule that comes with working with WWE.
As far as Wrestlemania goes, while I do agree that Beth Phoenix vs Kharma is worthy of a Wrestlemania spot, IMO it is just too early for that to happen this year.
Perhaps next year, when Kharma is back full time and has had more time to develope a role as a dominant force then maybe we can see that dream match that so many of us have been waiting for!

Random, but I was once working with a woman who suddenly went into labour while on shift. Apparently she was clueless to being pregnant over the previous nine months or so and believed her weight gain was down to an over indulgence of Chinese food… Didn’t really know what to make of it, really. Haha.
