February 19th, 2001 | It wasn’t so much a lover’s quarrel as it was a “guy can’t catch a hint” scenario. Lita never reciprocated Dean Malenko’s feelings for her, and she looked to end their back-and-forth feud once and for all in the ring. She wasn’t victorious last time she faced him, and was forced to accompany him on a date, but this time, all bets were off. Lita held her own pretty well, but it was interference by Matt Hardy that sealed the deal and earned her the win. In the haze of victory, Matt kissed Lita, and after her awkward reaction, made a hasty retreat. She followed him, though, and told him that she had feelings for him too. Well, she didn’t so much “tell” him as she “showed” him..

Even though Stephanie McMahon and Trish weren’t all that great at wrestling around that time,I still enjoyed the match.It was one of the best matches between two rookie wrestlers.The feud these two had leading up to the match was great,the promo was put together very well,and overall,it was a great buildup.And I think that yall can agree,right?

That Women’s Championship match is one of my favorite matches. Loved every second of it.

I wish Lita had more offence in the Lita vs Dean Malenko match.
I really liked the fatal 4 way match in 2004;great match and the crowd was into it. I wish Lita would have won though.

OMG Maryse!!! Now I realize again how much I miss Maryse. She still has longest title reign and if Awesome Kong returns at Wrestlemania, Beth would lose title but Kong would probably beat Maryse’s reign. I hope Maryse comes to TNA! But she won’t because she retired from wrestling :(

I was impressed by the Womens title 4 way match. All Divas got great pops/heat from the crowd, especially Lita and Molly. All women performed really well and Victoria won which is a big plus!

I was so proud of Lita for the series of matches with Dean. Every time she’s been against a man they’ve never taken it easy on her because she’s a girl. I respect her for so much and that’s a big reason. She never backed down from a guy and she never played damsel in distress she would just kick you right in the balls. I do wish she could have won but I think the punishment she took made people take notice. As for the Hardy stuff it really makes my stomach sick watching it knowing what he did to her.
Stephanie vs Trish not a good wrestling match but it was entertaining. Of course neither were trained wrestlers so I can’t be to hard on them. I thought their feud was certainly entertaining to watch.
Lita vs Molly vs Victoria vs Jazz I loved this match and I wish more matches had happened between these four. I certainly wish Lita and Victoria got to do more together. Kudos to Trish for the match with Christian.

LOL @ the gail vs maryse match..maryse & her sloppy selling lol…the match showed how much talent gail had whille marse on the other hand lol…
loved the four way match prob one of the better 4 way matches..loved victorias pin on molly…mollys reaction was classic…
stephanie vs trish was good i remember watching it going this is one hell of a catfight….
lita vs dean i miss those kinds of matches or christian clotheslining trish i think it helped storylines & to get people over….

Just wanted to say THANK YOU DIVA DIRT, this has to be one of your best features, love taking a trip down memory lane. Nostalgia is always good, a reminder of how much potential there is for the Divas is always a good thing when faced with 30 second tag matches and the like.
