Former WWE Diva and current ROH star
Maria Kanellis will put her newly won FWE Women’s Title on the line for the first time later this month.
Maria won her first ever championship in professional wrestling on February 25th – her 30th birthday – after competing in a one-night tournament that also featured Tara, Brooke Tessmacher and Winter. She managed to defeat Tara in the first round after Winter distracted her fellow TNA Knockout, and scored the duke over Winter when Tara and Brooke paid her back for her interference earlier in the evening.
Now it’s time for Maria to prove her worth as both champion and wrestler: FWE has announced that the first challenger for her title is yet another TNA Knockout – none other than the feisty Rosita.
The show, to take place on March 24th at the 3 Legged Dog Studios in downtown Manhattan, NY, will also feature an announcement regarding the next challenger for the belt.
Check out a selection of pictures from Maria’s matches on February 25 below:

Damn it had to be Rosita, now I’m not sure who I want to win. x__x Hopefully the two can mesh well together though.

Happy for her and happy to see that they are building up a good division there even if its with “borrowed” wrestlers.
It gives all these girls more to do and the FWE Title the prestige it needs. :)
