I realize that last week I was pretty conspicuous by my absence and that’s unfortunate. It’s unfortunate because Raw gave me absolutely nothing to work with last week. In fact, Raw hasn’t been very good since WrestleMania but I can’t really pretend to be surprised. This is always a down period for the Divas and with the promise of a three-hour show this week, we’ll probably have nothing at all to get excited about. But hey, whatever little Diva sighting there is, I will be here to document it.

That’s right! Freakin’ live blog right here, folks. Raw is on, the credits are rolling. The caramel iced coffee I just had is slowly reaching my bladder making me really want a trip to the bathroom, but I’m going to hold it. Is that too much infortmation? You decide the answer to that. Just be thankful that I’m doing a live blog tonight that will be posted sometime tomorrow. So I reckon you’ll just have to trust my word that I’m doing this live, right? Seeing as how I have to work tomorrow all day, that’s why you’re getting a live blog. And with John Cena entering my screen, I will go take that bathroom break. Stay tuned my faithful readers!

Thirty-seven minutes in… EVE TORRES SIGHTING!
Eve has been called into Johnny’s office this week. Apparently he has been talking to David Otunga and they have a job for Eve. They want her to be an executive administrative assistant, or something like that. Basically, they just want to stare at her in cute business clothes and pretend she’s their own personal Joan Holloway. Eve realizes this and she accepts the position. I bet she’s going to try and sex her way to a title shot!
Something tells me that may be it for the Divas tonight and if so, well… ummmm? There’s a terrific match on Superstars this week; Kelly Kelly versus Maxine. At least that will compensate? I’m not sure, but hey, we’ve got two hours and twenty minutes to go. I did promise to mention EVERY Diva sighting tonight. No matter how miniscule it is. I’m on this. I got this. By the way, how incredible did Eve look tonight? That dress, that color-blocking, her tan. Girl was rocking it, not that I’m shocked. Eve very rarely makes fashion mistakes.

We have two hours and three minutes left of Raw and I’ve started naming the Superstars and Divas after Game of Thrones characters. Lord Tensai is a slave of Yunkai thanks to the tattoos on his face. Kane will now be referred to as “The Mountain” aka Gregor Clegane. For the love of R’hollar, please give me another Diva sighting.
One hour and forty-nine minutes left in Raw. So far, we just have one measly Eve segment. I kinda fancy Eve at the moment. As far as females go, Eve is the most intriguing character right now. She’s the only one besides AJ that they’re really doing something with. I appreciate that, but I hope they do more. I would love to see Eve get some type of title shot out of this whole angle. I don’t think that’s going to happen until a babyface gets the championship, and who knows when that’s going to happen.
So now we’re down to an hour and thirty-two minutes. Ser Loras Tyrell of Highgarden and his tag team partner, Xaro Xhoan Daxos, just lost to Wun Weg Wun Der Wun and Tormund Giantsbane. Please don’t judge me. I just want Divas. You see what happens, WWE, when you don’t give Diva fans, Divas? They turn to alternative programming such as HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. I would much rather watch any episode of that brilliant show than Raw right now because quite frankly it’s been a huge disappointment. Three hours and so far all we’ve gotten is a thirty second Eve segment? I realize that these long shows are usually pretty crappy for the Divas, but seriously?
I try and be sunny, full of rainbows and puppies, and dandelions, and pretty yellow roses, but sometimes it’s so incredible hard to be positive when it comes WWE programming. SmackDown has been okay as late, Diva-wise, but Raw is coined ‘the flagship show’. Shouldn’t the ‘flagshiP show’ feature at the very least, the Divas Champion? I can’t even begin to remember when the last time was that I saw Beth on Raw.
THERE IS EVE AGAIN!
She’s backstage with Stannis Baratheon, Teddy Long, and Chris Jericho. Jericho is complaining how Punk was in his lockerroom drinking and Eve rattles off this rule in the WWE handbook that states champions of the company can’t be seen in an unfit state of mind (or something…) and basically it leads to the decision that CM Punk should be stripped of his championship after taking a field sobriety test in the middle of the ring. Again, this is all Eve’s idea. Johnny Ace decides that Teddy Long is going to do this and Jericho tells Eve how ravishing she is. That was incredible.
Holy crap. It’s a damn title match. Nikki Bella against Beth Phoenix. Ask and ye shall receive, right?
But as if on cue, the match doesn’t start. Eve comes out instead. The crowd is not amused to see Melisandre. Eve wants to improve the show. Good God, she makes this hot mess a lumberjill match and they’re all conveniently in ring gear. This is too much.
Okay, first of all, I’m legit concerned about Beth Phoenix. That seems like a legit injury to me, and if it is, then kudos to her for going on with the match. She seemed to really be in pain, or she’s just that damn good of a seller. I’m not sure. I really don’t know. If Beth is injured, it’s a shame.
The match wasn’t the best Bella match that’s for sure. I didn’t think Nikki and Beth had great chemistry together and that’s surprising because Nikki has always been the better worker out of the Bellas, in my opinion. It wasn’t bad, but it came off as kind of just lackadaisical to me. As soon as it was announced as a lumberjill match, you knew it was going to have some big Diva fight, and that it did. It just makes me laugh that all of them were randomly backstage in their ring gear. It would have looked much more believable to have them all in street clothes, but whatever.
The injury to Beth was scary and like I already stated, I’m not sure if it’s real or if she’s going to use it as an excuse as to why she lost to Nikki. But at the end of the night, a 200-day plus title reign came to an end and Nikki Bella became the Divas Championship for the first time in her career. I’m completely behind this because that title needed something fresh. I mean, I did hold the championship at WrestleMania Axxess, and no greater person will ever hold that championship, but Nikki is good enough to represent this company as champion. There have been so many rumors about whether or not the Bellas are leaving at the end of the month, and if they are, and someone makes a shocking return at Extreme Rules and challenges for that belt, then so be it. Nikki Bella will have gotten her moment in the sun and that’s enough for me. I always thought she should be champion and if Sunday is the last time we ever see the Bella Twins in a WWE ring (and I pray, pray, PRAY that it’s not), then at least both of them will have been a champion.

Writing a live, bitchy, nerdy blog seems to work for me. Something fun ends up happening. My Redux gets to turn serious again! I feel like this piece of me has been saved. I truly do.
And speaking of that piece of me that has been saved, I think this upcoming match is going to piss me off. My sun and stars, Prince Dolph, and his partner, Jack Swagger taking on Brodus Clay and Hornswoggle. I can’t.
And with little time to prepare, we have Rosa Mendes in the ring with her tag team. They’re taking on Zack Ryder and Santino Marella. This will have no bearing on anything whatsoever but if you wanna see what kind of corset Rosa is wearing, look no further.
Poor Rosa. Her men just lost. But at least she looked incredible while they did it. But hey, it gets better! They’re all backstage now. And some guy from FCW is talking to them. Bitch, you better back off and stop trying to steal Rosa’s job.
Diva hour continues immediately after that segment with Naomi and Cameron, and then Vickie Guerrero! Or at least I thought Vickie was coming out. Looks like my Sun and Stars is getting the jobber entrance. Gritting my teeth. Trying not to freak out and be biased. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
OH THANK GOODNESS! They’re getting a real entrance. There’s Vickie looking like a goddess in something similar to what I wore to work today except mine was a dress and not a fierce little romper. I really want the Funkettes to get in a fight with Vickie.
DRAMA!!!!
Vickie tries to get involved and of course it backfires. Hornswoggle has to ruin every damn thing imaginable. I hate him.
I do, however, think it’s safe to say that our dose of Diva action for tonight is over. What a night. I didn’t have any expectations whatsoever for tonight unless you count the low ones, and it turned out to be a clusteryouknowwhat of action. It wasn’t the best by any means, but it’s better than anything we’ve seen on Raw since WrestleMania. I’ll take it, toast Nikki Bella as the new WWE Divas Champion and pray that Beth Phoenix is okay. And I’ll continue to hope against hope that some day the Divas will indeed get the respect they deserve. This concludes this Game of Thrones sponsored edition of the Raw Redux. I truly hope that none of you condemn me to hell for this.

Breaking News from reliable news site
While Beth Phoenix appeared to be legitimately injured on last night’s RAW Supershow, the “injury” was an angle – and the plan for her to drop the Divas Title to Nikki Bella has been in place for several weeks now.
WWE wanted to get the Divas Title off Beth Phoenix to pave the way for Kharma’s upcoming return. Kharma is slated to be Divas champion very soon – and WWE wanted to put the title on Kharma without her having to go through Beth Phoenix yet. As recent as last week, Nikki Bella was supposed to win the Divas title at Extreme Rules and then get destroyed by Kharma the next night on RAW. As we saw on RAW, Nikki Bella won the Divas title earlier than expected.
There is still a chance that Kharma will return on RAW next week and destroy the Bella Twins, which would explain their rumored departure from the company. Whether or not the Bella Twins negotiate a new deal and decide to stay with WWE, a Divas title feud between Kharma and Beth Phoenix is brewing.

I think Torrie would have been diva’s champion if she had been able to stay around for when it was created. Debra and The Kat were both champs before the golden era, which was when they took the women’s title more seriously than when the likes of they, Stephanie and ‘Hervina’ were holding it.

She was scheduled with a feud with Vaine though that was way before the creation of the diva’s title was even announced. Krissy debuted and then left in September of like 2007. Torrie stopped wrestling a few months later due to her back, though the rumor was that if she had been able to stick around, she probably would have been the first diva’s champion.

Nono, I remember reading that WWE has planned to create a womens championship for SmackDown divas and the woman that attacked Torrie and Torrie will fued for that title or something..
I actually thought that they delayed the introduction of the title because of Krissy’s release and Torrie’s back injury… not so sure, but yeah Torrie was the top face diva on SD until the sudden injury news.

Beth sold the injury as a reason to drop the title to Nikki in a legitimate way. It looked amazingly real, which is why Beth is amazing at what she does. Extreme Rules will be fun.

I think we all pretty much know most of what will happen at the PPV, though there are some questions on the specifics…
What if it’s a double return? The Bellas could see Layla backstage at the PPV, then later on Eve tells the Bellas Johnny has made a Divas title match with a “returning” Diva vs Nikki since Beth is out injured- The Bellas assume it’s Layla since they saw her earlier, but then Kharma comes out, destroys them both to win the title, and the Bellas do a stretcher job- if they are leaving, it’s a way to write them out for good, if they do come back, they’ll just be off TV for a while. (I do think they’re done after the PPV- there are just too many sources saying they’re gone).

U understand the angle to make Beth lost look kind of like a fluke since she was injured and it seem more interesting for Beth to be the chaser to a women Kharma size rather the chased but i mean we all felt genuinally bad for her its like i dont like my emotions manipulated like that

The positives of Raw: 1. Eve in her new position of power could lead to some interesting storyline possibilities. 2. For the first time in a long time, we had a diva’s match on Raw that not only went ove 30 seconds, but over 2 minutes! According to my stopwatch it went about 4:03 which is an eternity on Raw. 3. Nikki winning it seems to point to Kharma’s return, which I would love to see. If the Bellas are still going to leave Kharma will kill them both immediately and get her revenge or if they’re staying they could go for a full fledged Kharma/Bellas feud with Kharma ultimately giving the Bellas what’s coming to them.
The negatives: 1. Beth getting injured. It looked legit to me, even if the plan supposedly was to take the belt off her right away so she and Kharma didn’t faceoff immediately. It’s a tough break for her and it hurts the girls in ring wise because as badly as WWE fucked up her title reign from the get-go, she delievered in every title defense and tried to make the best of WWE’s stupid booking. The only bright side is that with some time away, the standard WWE fan will forget how badly bungled her reign was and she’ll get to return to faceoff with Kharma.

Nikki Bella reign is going to be SHORT! The second shortest reign in Divas Championship history, she and Brie will be destroyed by Kharma, and I hope Kharma will be the longest reigning champion in history :D

I don’t know kids, The title change has been pimped pretty hard on wwe.com and many Superstars and Divas took to Twitter to congratulate Nikki, which is something that doesn’t really happen often, the last time was K2 and not before that. Even Mick Foley was congratulating them. Nikki seems elated by her win, I would hate to see someone this happy about becoming champion lose it so quickly. She also (again) teased her crush on Ryder by asking him for a kiss when he congratulated her. I still think that they played hardball to get this reign for Nikki as a perk for resigning. WWE has been pimping the Bellas all over the place lately and with Nikki’s win, I’m wondering if they pulled another trick like they did to get on the roster.
I’m wondering if Kharma is really going to set her sights on the Bellas. They would need to show the promo of why over and over again, where the Bellas took cheap shots on Kharma’s weight and her unborn (now stillborn) child. As a mom, I wouldn’t want to go through that and as a human being, I wouldn’t want to put someone through that. Not to mention Kharma is going to be a babyface regardless and Nikki & Brie are babyface/tweeners right now. When Kharma comes back, I wouldn’t mind seeing her just go on a rampage, instead of have to go after the Bellas and relive the moment she got to announce her pregnancy and relive her loss over and over and over again.

Just to add on, I watched the vid of Brie’s win vs Nikki’s and Nikki was much more excited than Brie when Brie won the title in the first place! I’m just speculating here but it seems like Nikki is the twin who really loves wrestling while Brie seems to prefer being the valet.

I haven’t psoted in a while and almost didn’t want to post this nor am I sure how to convey it. I just feel with all the Bella-hype, then Beth’s real or fake injury just feels wrong. I tried not to give in to the perception the Bella twins are coniving, calculating omen but you could almost see that side play out in this match and Beth suffering from it. I hope it’s just me over analyzing..

Eh. Beth’s title reign wasn’t really going anywhere, anyway. So it’s no big deal nor loss to see her lose the title to Nikki. However, I feel like Nikki’s reign won’t really do anything, either. Except of course put the title on Kharma. So at this point, it’s all just about waiting until Kharma returns and takes the title. Oh and btw, Kelly looked cute as ever last night <3 I love her hair parted. And to see a Divas match on Raw again was very refreshing and served a nice length. If Kharma returns, I see them putting some direction in the Divas again as it seems along with Kelly and Eve, Kharma is another Diva that WWE actually cares about.

i’m pretty sure this is a work,if so, Beth is a pretty good actor! and i couldn’t bear a division without Beth. I felt so sorry for her, she deserved to beat Maryse’s record. Wow what a great night for the Divas,im kind of still getting over Beth Losing the Title to Nikki the way it did and her ‘Injury’.Dont get me wrong i saw this comming and i knew Nikki would be the one to beat Beth soon but so much happned tonight.Im so excited about the Possibility’s this opens up though,Possibly Kharma comming back in couple of days a finishing the Bella’s? i sure hope so,if the rumours are true about the Bella’s leaving then what a smart way for them to go out lol.But im still wondering if Beth’s Injury is real or not,It looked horrible and very painful.If its an angle then props to Beth for being So convincing.if its something else then Get well soon Beth! :/ .Im happy Nikki got her chance for the title but seeing Brie’s run with it made me never want to see another Bellas reign again! i guess we will have to see what happends over sunday and next monday! :S

Well I guess that we haven’t seen the Divas in three weeks its fair to see all of the Divas. Seeing Nikkie win the title was a surprise espically when Beth got injured.
It was anice little match kinda makes me wonder about this Sunday?
And I feel like for the first time WWE told us a story with the backup from three weeks ago.
For some weird reason I’m kinda glad that at least someone took the title away frm Beth because it would’ve gotten more boring and yes I would’ve love to have seen a Kharma/Beth match but I only hope for a speed recovery from Beth.

Mom: Those darn divas!
Me: What about them?
Mom: They were so boring. Why were they standing around? Some of them were into the match, but some of them were like this *stood up and yawned loudly*. It was like they were counting in their heads “1,2,3,4…” Synchronized swimming, synchronized swimming.
Me: *laughing* Wow. Did you see Beth get hurt? [I know it's a work...now.]
Mom: My eyes started to hurt looking at that mess, so I got a snack. [Yikes, mom.] And who was that woman with the raspy-voiced guy? Is she a wrestler? [Yes, my mom said "Wrestler". Yay, mom!]
Me: I think you’re talking about Eve. Yes, she’s a wrestler.
Mom: She looked nice. Her weave looked good, her skirt was tight but not trashy, she’s pretty. What’s her name again?

Wow this new Bellas attire was amazing. I think it would be even better attire if the silver was blue and the the red part/roses were white.
By the way did anyone else notice how Nikki was happy to win the title but she wasn’t emotional, she didn’t cry happy tears or something like every other first time champion? Hmmm… Brie wasn’t really (happy tears) when she won the title aswell. And don’t come at me with the heel excuse, Maryse and Beth were both crying when they won the title. Is this maybe a lack of love for the lineage, the prestige of winning a championship from The Bellas?
It’s about time someone beat Beth for the title. Seriously, this was probably the most boring reign in the history of the divas championship. I hope Beth returns as a face, (WITHOUT THE DAMN SKIRT.)
I love Eve in her new role, I think it fits her heel persona really well. She should be used in this role for a few months before she starts wrestling again.
Hope The Bellas are still heels. Did anyone notice that a heel like Rosa was pulling for Nikki in the match, and Nikki was wrestling as a face… another Rosa mistake or what?
Here’s how I would book Kharma’s return:
Nikki vs Kharma at ER announced by Eve…
Kharma comes out angry but is distracted by Brie at ringside before she gets to hit Nikki, Nikki then holds her own against Kharma by dropkicking, kicking, punching Kharma, but doesn’t manage to get Kharma to the floor. Kharma clotheslines her, does her spinning fist then the awesome bomb and finishes her off with the implant buster. Kharma throws Nikki hard out of the ring. She then drags Brie to the ring and h does her finisher on her multiple times and leaves the ring with her championship. (Bellas out of the WWE)
Next night, Kharma comes to the ring with a different (way better looking championship) and we are told that this new title is the new divas championship design.

Nattie didn’t cry: she jumped up & down screaming “yay!” Does she not love the belt either?
Nikki showed more emotion than most champs, including Layla, Eve & Michelle. Some people don’t cry when they’re happy. Her elation was much more than Brie & Kelly & very genuine.

Personally, I am so happy about this. I love everything about the Bella twins especially Nikki. This was actually a decent match, other than the injury there were no awkward spots and while I hate to disagree with Khaleesi, I thought their communication was pretty damn great. You only have to watch the early Bella matches with Nattie and Victoria to see that they are actually very solid in ring workers with some strong technical capability, and when the company invest enough effort and time into them they always deliver. You could see that Nikki was over the moon at being given a title win and joining her sister in the history books, and Brie looked so of her! Im glad the title is off of Beth because while she is amazing, her reign became stale a long time ago. It certainly isnt her fault, she was the best thing to happen to that championship for a long time, but WWE destroyed her credibility time and time again and when youre supposed to be a dominating, monster champion that just doesnt work. At all. It wouldnt surprise me if the Bellas are being built for a Kharma return, and Im sure theyll run with that angle and give us something spectacular. With the return of Kharma the title will finally have some prestige and WWE should pay more attention to the division with the belt on her, hopefully in time things should brighten up. I cant help feeling like this divas drought might just be drawing to a close, and while a little part of me is telling me not to get too hopeful, another part of me is moonwalking, doing cartwheels and screaming louder than Kelly Kelly in a sharpshooter. This match, and all the possibilities it represents, have got me and other fans more excited and invested in the division than we have been for a long time and I cant wait to see where this goes. Congrats to Nikki, and best wishes to Beth. Also, Kharma returning at Extreme Rules would make sense since that was the first time we saw her in WWE. Hmmmm ;)

Soem of you took my chance of writting a book about last night, but I’ll still write but keep it short & sweet. Here it goes;
Last night felt like I was back in 2009, 2010, 08, 07, golden era. Somewhere around there. To me, it just didn’t like what we’ve been seeing from the divas for the past year or so. Everything like a puzzle that the pieces just fell in right. It just felt good. A breath of fresh air. Divas getting mic time, backstage segments, 8 minutes in the ring, almost catfights, just awesome. It felt amazing to have that feeling back. That feeling of the divas being successful, being treated like they should be, like queens. I dont need to comment on the match, segments, ect. seperatly because I hpnestly dont have any complaints. It felt like for once, management was able to make sense & actually think!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! No not that excited that Nikki B won the Diva’s title, it is that my video is featured on Diva-Dirt! :D OMFG! I had a mark out moment for sure when I saw “featured on Diva-Dirt.’ In case if anyone is wondering what video I am talking about, the Eve and Johnny Ace segment, the first video posted in this article! (: I would thank you on twitter, but I can’t seem to find your new Twitter, Cryssi. Thank you for putting my videos on there, it is such a pleasure. I know I sound like a nerd but I am just so grateful.
About the match, Nikki impressed the hell out of me, I did know for a matter of fact that she is the better wrestling twin, and she seemed so happy that she won the Diva’s Championship. Poor Beth, I still believe that she is injured despite what rumors are saying, I mean just look at the way she landed of the ring apron and her tweets sound like she is really hurt as well. Either way, if the win was to just put the title on Kharma without facing Phoenix, then that does kind of suck because if given the chance to actually wrestle, like she was on Raw on Monday, I am sure Nikki would put on good matches with the other divas.

Come on! That injury comment is a load of rubbish. She did’nt land awkwardly in the slightest and I do agree about Nikki. Maybe only Brie will leave. In the French interview Nikki looks majorly into it whilst Brie does’nt.

I don’t think either of them are leaving, because both Brie and Nikki have issued staunch denials, Nikki on Twitter and Brie in the french interview.
I think Brie likes being a valet more than a wrestler while Nikki likes being a wrestler. Her Twitpics of her sleeping hugging the title and her at the airport with the title sitting beside her are really cute. She seems really excited to be Divas Champion and I hope she gets a lengthy reign.

Not to be mean, but the ‘Brie likes being a valet more than wrestler’ thing sounds really rude and pathetic considering that you have no proofs to that whatsoever. How can you say that without knowing that? She has never done anything special as a valet so I doubt she likes it more than wrestling.
Both of them can like being wrestlers. Where the hell is the rule that says that one teammate likes wrestling and the other valeting.

I think Beth’s leg injury is legit because when she came out of the ring and her leg hit that mat iy went th wrong way she was in lots of pain and Kudos toher for finishing the match. The finish would have been different if Beth had not been injured they wanted to get it over so she could get medical help imo,. Kudos to Nikki bella on her 1st Diva’s title but doesn’t this set it up nicely for Kharma’s return to feud with the Bella’s because she said when she returned she would be coming for them. Eve was great as always as the gold digger heel
