Losing 118lbs, being called an “inspiration” by First Lady Michelle Obama and winning a new gym in her hometown can be considered an incredible achievement for former professional wrestler Kim Nielsen, even though she didn’t win Season 13 of NBC’s The Biggest Loser which aired its finale last Tuesday night.
Kim Nielsen Finishes Second on ‘Biggest Loser’
Kim, who was once signed to a WWE developmental deal and competed in TNA as Desire, has been largely out of the limelight since her TNA days. In that time, her weight ballooned to 252lbs — but as seen on last week’s finale, Kim is back to her old self and looking better than ever.
In Pictures: What Kim Nielsen Looks Like After ‘Biggest Loser’
After speaking with Kim at the start of the season, Diva Dirt once again catches up with wrestling’s Biggest Loser success story to talk about her incredible transformation, her thoughts on finishing second, meeting the First Lady, and whether she might return to wrestling.

Honestly can we just get some fresh faces in TNA? We don’t need more originals returning…

there is no original knockouts in TNA right now, Traci was released, and Trinity is no longer in the wrestling buisness and so that only leaves Desire

I’d rather have it that way. I’d rather have TNA sign girls who have never even had tv exposure.

i dont really consider Mickie an original, because she didnt last very long in TNA her first run, she was only there like 4 months, and didnt real have a solid female feud like Desire and Trinity did and all that

In an old interview she said she was no longer comfortable taking bumps after her neck injury. If you take into consideration she is 38 years old and hasnt taken bumps in 7 years, you can wonder if its wise to return to the ring. She would have to relearn a lot and her body needs to first get used to taking bumps again. I honoustly dont see her return, but maybe she could do something in wrestling outside of the ring, like a manager.

Wish her nothing but the best. Though the whole thing with Mercedes did rub me the wrong way. Good luck to her in whatever she chooses to pursue.

Good for Kim~! I’m not a TBL fan, but hey, it’s a wildly popular show. I think TNA would be wise to capitalize by bringing her in for some kind of angle. Strike while the iron’s hot, guys. This wouldn’t be bad for getting Gail Kim some heat too because I’m sure the newly-buff Kim could work out a few cool exchanges with an athlete like Gail. Obviously Kim gets the better at first, some heel like Madison or Sarita/Rosita comes in on top of that, and you get Velvet for the save.
Pretty typical stuff booking-wise, at the same time, you’re shooting for the crossover publicity and maybe a pop on TMZ/Perez Hilton etc. It could also be cool if she came in to do her inspirational speech bit and then was flat interrupted before she made it 20 seconds in, by some heel KO or another (Angelina Love?) saying “THIS is what we spend time on now? There’s not even a match going on! Nobody cares about some has-been from the Fat Farm and her sob story! Give some TV Time to a REAL legend!” Etc etc. Because I’m Prescott, I’d naturally use that to bring in Velvet for the save, then start Angelina vs. Velvet, then turn all that into a fake swerved feud to reunite heel The Beautiful People. Hey, that’s just me. ;) But it would be epic (though in this day and age of pretape, it’d be so spoiled ahead of time nobody would care)!
