Ric Flair’s Daughter Ashley Begins Wrestling Training

Could we soon have another second generation wrestling superstar?

PWInsider.com is reporting that Ashley Johnson, the daughter of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, is now training to become a professional wrestler.

Ashley follows in the footsteps of her brothers David, who is well-known for his appearances with WCW (as part of a pairing with the lovely Stacy Keibler) and the WWE, and Reid, who has been making a name for himself on the independent circuit.

Ashley is a graduate of the North Caroline State University, with a Bachelor of Arts, and is a certified personal trainer. She also boasts many notable accomplishments in volleyball, including two NCHSAA 4 A-State championships, a team captaincy and the Player of the Year for their 2004-2005 year.

She was married in May 2010 to Riki Johnson.

Lets hope shes not another lacey von erich and more off a natalya & tammina. But if she does go to wwe lets hope flair stays away i really dont want to see him wrestle DB or punk because we all know he will not put them over

I wonder if she be like her father and do that thing where he runs back and forth, sweating profusely, talking gibberish, and giving elbow drops to jackets. Also, she better perfect the knife edge chop and figure-4-leglock because those were her father’s specialties.

Those are way too brutal for Divas.

Hair pulling and forearm shots all day.

And her finisher will be the Figure-4 Roll-Up.

I can see her being like a spoiled brat being entitled to everything because Ric Flair is her father… Like that’ll be her debut heel gimmick whether she lands in TNA or WWE in a few years

I don’t really thing this is a smart choice made by her. It is too late for her now.

David Flair was paired with Torrie Wilson, not Stacy Keibler.

Nope, he worked a program with Stacey Keibler too. Pretty sure they had a marriage angle, and Daffney was involved too.

She looks great. Hopefully, she doesn’t wrestle like her brother and wrestle like an athlete.
