u forgot midajah (Scott Steiner’s manager) she was my fave, chastity and gorgeous george. i would love if wrestlemania came to atlanta-georgia and did a hall of fame for that year dedicated to wcw and invited the nitro girls to come perform and maybe they can induct harlem heat with Midnight or Sharmell whilst inducting Madusa. we could get madusa in the womens match at wrestlemania perhaps and the nitro girls perform with some of the divas. :)

Short but effective match to make Beth look strong. Layla coming down to the ring to make the save after was a nice touch and shows that while she knows Beth is bigger and stronger, she doesn’t fear her the same way she did in her LayCool days.

Because most of the divas are horrible, they’re called divas and not wrestlers or superstars, and WWE doesn’t care about the division, and doesn’t put any time or effort into it- it’s only still there for political reasons IMO

I disagree with most divas being horrible. The real problem is WWE not giving fans enough reason to care. Too many short matches, too little mic time to establish characters and a lack of storylines. Tonight at least they looked like they were trying to build towards Sunday’s match.

Most of the divas are horrible as in very few can wrestle, very few have mic skills, and very few have good characters or looks. They should be held up to SHIMMER, NCW FF, joshi, Pro Wrestling EVE standards as far as wrestling goes.
But them being called divas, women not being able to fight the men, WWE not caring, no time and effort, not enough mic and skit time, lack of storylines (especially without male wrestlers), short matches, not having full entrances, lame theme songs, the fact most of their outfits are a little slutty, the fact they’re objectified, the fact WWE hires models etc and not wrestlers, etc are definitely problems.
Tonight looked like they threw together a lame attempt to put focus on the PPV but they still said “WWE doesn’t care!”

WWE has always hired models. That’s not going to change until Vince or Lauranitis goes most likely. They have been giving actual wrestlers tryouts though, they have Paige and Sofia Cortez to call on in FCW and not every “model” is as bad as you make them out to be quite frankly.

If not all, most girls on the roster can wrestle. Mic skills I can agree with. The characters most girls have a different personality. They just don’t give us all that their character can do. The looks, I believe there is no set look. Each diva is unique and different looking. WWE does not give the divas their all anymore. Maybe it’s too many divas or maybe the divas aren’t grasping the general fans like the Knockouts do. WWE just needs to let a former diva and a writer who believe’s in them run the division run. I vote for Trish. Let’s all tweet her and ask her to take over the division.
