WWE Diva Rosa Mendes, who was involved in a five car collision in Las Vegas last night, has been released from hospital and has “serious whiplash”, according to WWE.com.
WWE reports that “[a]n accident involving at least five cars occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. after a Mercedes in a turning lane reportedly switched lanes, causing a truck to jackknife and a series of successive collisions.”
Rosa told the website: “My neck and back were really hurting. My body is my job. I was so scared that I was not going to be able to wrestle. I was in a lot of pain.”
“Nothing’s broken. I feel like I can wrestle but the whole right side of my neck and back have a burning sensation.”

i’m happy it was nothing too serious. she hasn’t wrestled in quite a while so hopefully she won’t have to be away from work for too long

shes been working the house shows recently taking on kelly…shes meant to be going on tour wrestling so i dont think thats going to happen….

Glad shes not seriously injured or the other people involved…drivers today are dangerous i see alot of people talking on their mobile & such its accidents waiting to happen….

I’m glad Rosa’s working toward a full recovery but since it was brought up I also have to comment that I liked her since her Diva Search days because of her passion and charisma. The first thing she worries about is the condition of her body recognizing she’s a wrestler. That was compeling to me.

Rosa could likely sue. As she said, her body is her job, which allows her to sue for a lot of money.
