The match was okay. I also hope that isn’t a new finisher for Brooke cause it looks more like a signature if anything. Plus it looks like a move Angelina Love does.

No, Brooke isn’t defending her title in a Four-way. On Open Fight Night they have four possible contenders and one will be chosen by Hogan on the same night. In this case it will be Brooke Hogan.

He has returned~! And by he, I mean me. You’re welcome. OK… now on to some easily skippable bullet points …
-Brooke Hogan: Seriously? What could I say about it that hasn’t already been said? There’s no dark ground left that hasn’t had a spotlight shone brightly upon it, so let’s leave it at that. It’s ridiculous. Give us Karen Jarrett!
Karen Jarrett: I, for one of many, was surprised and happy that KJ had that edge and bitchiness that really came across the screen. She owned her segments. It was largely booked by JJ too, since they often have a “do whatever” towards the KOs if big things are cooking up top. This showed that JJ is actually pretty shrewd when he wants to be and great at selling traditional angles that pop the in-house crowd. Check out the Ring Ka King stuff, too. Much may come off as predictable but it’s still a fun ride.
BROOKE Tessmacher: It’s also been said, many times, but what a great transition and title-dropping scenario. Gail did it professionally, TNA booked it as a multi-match program, the matches themselves were okay-to-good (beat the Velvet Sky series at least), and it all paid off a fundamental way-of-thinking that TNA should prioritize. Reward talent. It is also showing in this push for Austin Aries which is catching on quite well… TNA has their back against the wall financially, according to reports and my own semi-insider people as well, and so does Bischhogan, so they’re doing a “play what works” strategy mostly. Except with . . .
Madison Rayne: REALLY!? Are you kidding me? 80% of Gail’s run was spent begging for Madi’s attention, she never misses a show somehow, she hasn’t been relevant since God-knows-when, her golden heel run went over as well as Orlando Jordan being lowered from the rafters, she hasn’t gotten any better in the ring or on the mic since, and she somehow still manages to feature side/prominently in whatever the KOs do. It’s beyond baffling if you don’t really know the business. If you know the business (*COUGH*), you know this girl plays fast-and-dirty politics all the way and has used that to get on TV, get in the Beautiful People, kill the Beautiful People, bury Angelina Love, get a ridiculous set of clean wins (heel no less) over everyone in a title reign, remain relevant & on TV FOREVER while doing jack compared to TBP/Velvet, ODB/Eric, even Mickie and some Gail stuff in quarter-hours. Nada. This girl is certainly blessed in Machiavellian terms, have no doubt. Now in the meritocracy that’s needed to get TNA out of their sideways motion, she needs to be sent back to the indies that motivated Brooke and made her championship material. I am so beyond exhausted of Madison Rayne, her half-hearted matches, her one-note character which is a devolution, not evolution, from The Beautiful People, her getting TV time over better talent, and her making whoever she gets her power from turn Gail into her petty follower, begging for her attention. The lasting memory from Gail Kim’s (who HAD dues, mind you) glory run? Her in the dressing room cutting a promo to Madison Rayne’s BACK. *THAT* was the go-to play in the playbook. As a fervent believer in dues and meritocracy, it made/makes me SICK.

I liked Brooke Tesmacher match with Madison Rayne she was very confident and striong in the ring very few if any botched spots. The Brooke Hogan Gail Kim backstage segment was kinda lame.
