Diva Dirt is looking to add some new members to its established team, including one or two news writers and one or two social media assistants.
If you love women’s wrestling and are interested in getting involved in the fast-paced world of online publishing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Are you an aspiring news writer who knows your Trishs from your Havoks? If you have knowledge of all women’s wrestling — WWE, TNA and beyond to independents, international etc. — and can write with flair and speed, you could find yourself with a byline on Diva Dirt! We’re looking for writers who are able to source and write interesting news stories with accuracy and timeliness. Candidates must be able to post news about a range of topics including WWE, TNA, independent and worldwide wrestling. Great use of English is a must. Basic Photoshop skills preferred.
Social media assistant
Diva Dirt boasts some of the most active social media profiles in wrestling, and we’re looking for reliable, energetic writers to help us maintain our various networking pages. You could find yourself asked to come up with ways to interact with our fanbase, tweet about upcoming events, ‘live tweet’ a television show and more. Great use of English is a must as well as a high level of confidentiality.
Positions are unpaid but references are available upon request from publisher Black Pants, Inc. and editor Melanie Rob. This is ideal for young college/university level students or young writers looking to gain experience in online publishing.
If you think you have what it takes, please email the editor, Melanie Rob, at the following address: email@example.com. Please include the title of the position you are applying for in the subject line (or both if applying for joint positions). Please include the following in your email:
1. Covering letter. This should include details about yourself i.e. age, where you live, education, occupation (if you have one), why you’d like to join Diva Dirt and whether you can meet the requirements of the tasks listed above.
2. For news writing position: Examples of work you’ve previously produced (either links to previously published work or newly written pieces).
3. For social media assistants only: Suggest an interaction idea for our Twitter and Facebook fans.
Please note: Due to the high volume of emails received, we will only be able to respond to prospective candidates.
