Trish (Rebellion & Royal Rumble) and Stephanie (No Way Out) were also special refs at ppvs.

Its good but i dont think she will pursue the championship. Sad to see Layla being hold back to have a good feud. instead shes randomly thrown to anybody.

I’d be willing to bet, though, that this storyline ends with AJ costing Punk the title and (maybe) siding with DB. She’s been way too unhinged for them to legitimately pair her with Punk, as cool as that would be.

Also, this the the 1st time in a long time that a diva will be a direct determinant of a wwe championship ppv match! The last female to be in a position like this was probably Stephanie McMahon herself. I kind had a feeling wwe had faith in AJ but I didn’t know they had this much faith in her. Not even Kelly Kelly, Eve, or Michelle McCool got put in a situation this high profiled!

Yeah, Kelly Kelly just MAIN EVENTED Smackdown and DEFENDED the WORLD HEAVYWHEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, while Lay-Cool FHOUGHT for it, but I guess that´s nothing!

All the women above were integral parts of WWE programming at one time or another, her journey is so unexpected and amazing at the same time, I truly hope the fans catch onto her…Could the WWE pair her and Bryan to have Kharma return to take AJ out?….OR the other way around? Punk and AJ VS Bryan and Kharma?

One time I actually suggested that CM Punk AJ Daniel Bryan and Kharma have an intergender tag team hardcore match! The match pairing could be CM Punk and AJ vs Daniel Bryan and Kharma or CM Punk and Kharma vs Daniel Bryan and AJ, but either match depends on whether AJ is face or heel!

I would add Eve to that list due to her storyling with Zack, Jhon and Kane. Funny thing is know that I think about it, that entire storyline was used to turn eve heel. It may not have started off that way but it sure did end that way. Oooo and sorry, I love kharma as much as the next guy but she hasnt really done anything to be considered top diva officially yet.

@ MR_ADONE Kharma was on TV for less than two months, and over a YEAR later, crowds are still chanting ‘We want Kharma’ during women’s matches in PPV, that alone solidifies her spot IMO.
@Billy GP , Mickie was ‘Almost’ there in my opinion, she was definitely a draw for the division, but the overall WWE product?, not as much as the women above. She was largely relegated to women’s storylines ,

Then if not Mickie Kharma should not be there. Mickie yes the overall product even when she was released they chanted her name they as in the crowd.

No surprise here, but I’d definitely add Melina in on that list. Melina was not only, on a few occasions, the center of the women’s division in WWE, she also got involved quite a bit with the superstars.

I mean, of course she wasn’t as big as a factor as Stephanie was, storyline wise, but she was involved. She did get to fire Mick Foley and on top of all that, she got to carry the divas division and become one of the most hated/over heels as well as one of the most loved faces. So I’d definitely add her to that list.

Really!? This is the first time that Aksana and Antonio have tag teamed together as a couple. I just wish that ogre Khali wasn’t apart of this moment because he’s the 25% of this match that kind of kills everything!

Little too obvious that this is Teddy’s revenge for Cesaro and Aksana humilitating him…storyline could have been more interesting if they featured the couple more. Hopefully Layla and Aksana handle most of the in ring work and maybe we can get a surprise of Cesaro pinning Khali (won’t happen but I can dream)

I will be the first to admit that I hate AJ. Something about her just throws me off like an annoying fly I wanna hit with my shoe, but I will give credit where its due. Chick is killing this storyline. Her crazy stunt is really good, and she is the only relevant diva in the wwe with Eve, Kelly, and Kharma not around. *Not so sure if I should say kelly because she wasnt doing anything b4 she left but whatever.
Speaking of Eve and Kharma… Where the hell are they? Kharma should have been back by now, and eve, well this is just getting out of hand. We need a top hell diva and AJ doesnt count as she is not a full heel yet.

Eve has finished shooting the reality show so i wonder why she isn’t back yet:/
As for kharma, i have a feeling they’re keeping her on hold till Kelly Kelly returns so that they can continue the storyline which started last year…
maybe with kelly returning, (winning the championship ? just cz layla won’t have screen time) and after the match, Kharma mkes her return and attacks kelly…

I can definitely see AJ turning heel at MITB costing CM punk the match because she actually has never truly gotten over Bryan, that way she can properly feud with Layla, but where does this leave Kharma

What i would want is a big diva battle royal at mitb to decide the #1 contender for layla, they actually have like six/seven minutes to compete then in the middle of it,,,Kharma returns with Layla being on comentary,,,then Kharma squashes them all and Layla and Kharma has a INTENSE staredown for about 30 secs and Kharma’s music hits and she leaves doing that evil laugh of hers while Layla looks like she just saw a ghost…….SOUNDS GOOD 2 ME!!

anyone thought of this AJ does cost Punk the title to Bryan. Bryan and AJ say they had this planned the whole time and punk brings back Kelly to feud with AJ since Kelly and Punk got history together.

I also had the same thought with the AJ-Bryan thing.
But bringing Kelly back is kind of a cool idea. Knowing WWE ALL TOO WELL though, they won’t do that and instead will do Bryan vs Punk for a couple more months and have Punk win the title back and then drop AJ from TV all together.

Obviously not & i don’t get how you’re getting that??..the tag teams in wwe get more time then the women….champions in wwe should be getting time like their opponents so the build up or pay off are over with the crowd…
what aj is doing is great but she doesn’t need to the title because that wont give her more tv time…if anything she’ll end up in one minute rushed matches on raw/smackdown…so im not complaning i just don’t want aj to get that treatment after being in the main event & used right…
