It’s hard to believe that we are coming up to 1000 episodes of Raw. On July 23rd, WWE celebrates its milestone 1,000th episode on USA Network and to celebrate, over the next month we’re going to be asking you to crown the Greatest Raw Diva Ever!
The Diva Dirt team has compiled a list of 32 women who we feel have played a memorable role in at least one of the last 900-something episodes of the flagship Monday night show, and we’re asking you to whittle the list down to just one woman.
As we count down to July 23rd, each week we will be cutting the list in half; next week we reveal the top 16, then the top 8, 4, 2 and finally, the winner. The Greatest Raw Diva Ever will be announced on Monday, July 23rd exclusively here at Diva Dirt!

ROUND 1 RESULTS: We had a huge, overwhelming response to Round 1, with thousands of votes, as well as hundreds of tweets and comments. Thank you for your support! Unfortunately, for 16 women, they are now out of the running to be named the Greatest Raw Diva Ever. Those names include Bertha Faye, Debra, Christy Hemme, Bull Nakano, Mae Young, Alundra Blayze, Jazz, Terri Runnels, Luna, Lilian Garcia, Jacqueline, Ivory, Sunny, Molly Holly, Stacy Keibler and Ashley Massaro.
It’s now time to vote for Round 2 of the tournament! In one week, the selection will be cut in half again, with only the 8 women with the most votes advancing to the next round. Vote wisely!

I kind of do have the right, theres something in the world called ‘freedom of speech?’. Just like you said whoever I personally choose as my favourite is NOT be the best. Maybe I should say you dont have the right to disrespect my opinion. But I wont, because we all have opinions and I’m sticking by mine when I say fans sometimes can be so absent minded.
I find it irritating that most people these days vote for the most recent women to appear on television, the freshest things in their minds, when women in the past clearly made more impact that those voted to stay in.

Just the fact that the Bella Twins are on this list over some others not remaining just shows that this poll is a crock. People too young to know who Ivory, Molly, etc. are should not have a say in this poll. Sad. So, so sad.

I agree, Stacy although not a performer like Lita, Victoria, jazz, and not an inbetweener who was super pushed like Trish, was still ever popular in her time with WWE especially during the “golden era” for the divas, and has had her fair share of memorable moments as the ultimate eye-candy of the time ( for raw that is, torrie was smackdowns). But oh well, most people on here love to hate the “models” simply because they were models.

Yes, she was. She had more classic promos that people remember, more storylines that people remember, matches, including THE most controversial Raw moment in the history of the WWE, that is still brought up today, over 12 years later.
As far as Raw moments/storylines/promos, Trish had:

- Lita/Rock vs Triple H/Stephanie
- The Stable attack on Stephanie
- The sewage incident with Stephanie

- Trish vs Lita main event on Raw
- Trish gets chokeslammed above Kane’s head

That’s not including her matches, various storyline plot points, etc. Trish made a huge impact on Raw and IMO she had more Raw moments or promos than anyone. Stephanie is a close second.

Trish’s promos were the greatest in Raw Diva history, “The walking kiss of death” topping a long list of classic Trish promos. She made the feud with Christy entertaining ENTIRELY on the strength of her promos.
Plus, she worked the entire Lita & Christy feuds with a herniated disc, during which she also lost a knuckle, suffered a broken nose, almost had her upper lip ripped completely off (had it stitched back together), and had half her face bruised, and still worked almost every show.
And what do people remember most about the Lita-Kane wedding? Trish. “You just have to open your heart, just like you opened your legs.” She just stepped into that storyline and stole it out from under Kane & Matt, making it all about her and Lita (rescuing Lita from a crappy angle in the process).
I’d add to your list the main event of Trish & Rock vs Vince & Angle that ended the Kiss My Ass Club angle, saw Trish bloody Vince up, & concluded their feud that had been running since Wrestlemania.

I would hardly call more than half of that list memorable RAW moments. I think what truly sets a memorable RAW moment aside from just a memorable DIVA moment, is the lasting impression it has on the overall audience, not just diva fans.
I’d go as far as saying your list here would only ring bells in the back of the heads of diehard Trish Stratus fans. I’ve been watching WWE since before the Trish/Lita era…and a lot of your listed “moments” were forgettable to me…and I’m a fan.

@vincent i think from my personal opinion of you going back and forth you simply don’t like Trish it is very true that she had a hell or a lot of promos and for anyone who says she was overly pushed and all of that bull crap you just wish it was a diva that you liked more because obviously she was doing something damn good to get the pushes she was getting. and i am a Trish fan just as much as i am a jazz, Victoria, and Lita fan but Trish had more memorable moments in the wwf/wwe than all of them.

Honestly though, if you would count every little thing on some of the divas, you would have as many things to write as you did for trish aswell.
I mean you are pointing on various details of some of the same ankles as if they were extra after all (like the mickie things).
