WWE NXT has evolved into a show featuring the company’s developmental talent, but before that it was known for being the breeding ground for wannabe breakout stars competing in a reality show-like competition.
Along the way, we’ve seen Divas like LayCool, Maxine and AJ heat up our screens in the middle of the yellow roped ring, but what were your favorite moments from the “old” NXT?
We polled the Diva Dirt readers a couple of weeks ago on their favorite moments from NXT seasons one through five, and now Diva Dirt TV has the results exclusively!

Well at least AJ/Naomi got on the list in the end!

My Favourite moment was when Kaitlyn won NXT.

Top moment by far was the match between AJ and Niomi. They showed the WWE universe that those two could put on a GREAT match while calling themselves Divas, because when you think of the modern Diva term in the WWE today, wrestling skills is not the thing that describes a Diva.

Never got to vote but I liked all the picks except of the kissing contest making the second spot cause it wasn’t THAT special actually.
Would rather had the match Aksana VS Naomi or Kaitlyn VS Naomi at the tops there cause both matches were great.

I love that Diva-Dirt saw the fans reaction to Naomi vs AJ not being on the list, it definetely was a stellar match and AJ amd Naomi showed us what they can offer given the right amount of time or attention… I remember watching the match and laughing because even Michael Cole and Josh Matthews stopped talking crap and actually started calling it haha
Also I am extremely happy Maxines return to NXT won because she was the break out female star from all the other NXTs and it’s such a shame she never got to portray that to a larger audience.

AJ vs Naomi is the top Diva NXT moment for me.
A great match. Did Kelly set a record for use of her catch phrase, there? She’s screaming “COME ON, NAOMI!” about 87 times, then, as soon as Primo starts cheering on AJ, yells “SHUT UP, PRIMO!” prompting the stunned announcers to say, incredulously, “Kelly just told Primo to shut up!” :)
Kelly would actually be very good as a loud mouthed, trash talking, manager. I’ve never found her more entertaining than in that match.
And the ending, with the Octopus, forced Cole to break character. He couldn’t help but be into it.

Well, I only watched season 3. But for me, list or no list, my fave moments, in no particular order are:

The Chickbusters antics that seemed to upstage Maxine
Kaitlyn and Vickie’s rivalry
AJ kissing Cody
AJ’s heartfelt farewell speech
