Santino Marella and Layla beat Antonio Cesaro and Aksana in a mixed tag. Layla pinned Aksana after a kick to the head. (Source)

    No that was Layla teaming with Khali, this is with Santino.

    Sounds like layla got to hit her spinning kick which would be nice to see again….

    Agreed. It looked like she attempted it at the PPV so good for her to add it back in her repertoire I always liked it.

    I am just happy they had a match I didn’t think the divas were going to get a match since the report I read didn’t have this listed.

    I would love for Cesaro to win the US Title from Santino and I wouldn’t mind Aksana getting a title shot [and losing] to Layla.

    Hopefully the match is a decent length but we’ll see this Thursday. :)

    Yep! Always loved her spinning roundhouse kick but after the last time she hit it on maria a few years ago, they restricted her from using it again because the divas are not allowed to use shoot kicks anymore. -.-

    So she either took the freedom because it was on superstars OR they gave her the freedom to really use it (instead of attempting it only) again.

    I hope it’s the later cause it is one of my all favorite moves on layla. :)
    Aksana surely sold the hell out of it too!

    Also hope that they let Aksana show some good offence instead of the few “I can’t wrestle” vibes they had her using lately.

    Being that this match is on Superstars I am hoping we get some good time for the match, also it’d be nice to let the girls have some decent time in the match.

    I’m also glad Layla is bringing her ‘Nasty Kick’ back, I loved the one she hit on Maria and Kelly back in the day!

    Hopefully they shall also allow Aksana to show off some skill since anyone who has seen her work on FCW know she has some pretty decent moves… Nice to see Layla picking up the win too!!! =D

    There’s a good chance this was actually a dark match as Santino taped a match for Superstars with Jinder Mahal at Monday’s Raw.

    I thought Santino was already taped to fight Jinder Mahal from the night before? Then again, Cody Rhodes was taped twice, once to defeat Alex Riley and the other to defeat Tyson Kidd. Hopefully this is the match that airs though.

    we have been watching several mixed tag matches this past two months… i m not surprising when Aksana takes the belt off from Layla

    There was no mixed tag team match tonight so that means no Layla or Aksana. :(

    The 4 matches on Superstars were: (If anyone really cares.)

    1) Jinder Mahal Vs. Santino Marella
    2) Alex Riley Vs. Cody Rhodes
    3) Derrick Bateman & Johnny Curtis Vs. The Usos
    4) Sin Cara Vs. Drew McIntyre (MAIN EVENT)
